"We Are Creating Bombers": Israelis

Outraged by the cold-blood killings of Palestinian children and women in the Gaza Strip, Israeli soldiers are growing disillusioned with Israel's claim of self-defense against Palestinian "terrorists" in the bombed-out strip.

"It's not a war of defense," paratrooper Yitzchak Ben Mocha told the Guardian on Saturday, January 17.

"We are creating a thousand suicide bombers for the future from the brothers of the dead, the sons of the dead ... in the long term, we are creating more terror."

The 25-year-old soldier has refused to join the army in its deadly offensive in Gaza, home to 1.6 million people, to stop the Palestinian rocket fire.

Just as the Mujahadeen were trained by the CIA to defeat communists, only to later become our enemy when they started "blowing back," the same is true of Hamas and Israel. I never looked at the Israel/Hamas situation quite this way before, but Dr. Paul makes alot of sense.

What follows is from a letter which I sent in reply to a fundraising appeal from Eugene Bird, President of the Council for the National Interest Foundation (CNIF), which works to counter the pro-Israel lobby in Washington, mainly through lobbying and ad campaigns. My intention was to argue the importance--the urgency, actually--of reflecting on what we really know about 9/11 before speaking of it as if we have been essentially told the truth. I would not want any of this to be construed as denigrating the organization or its work. -rm

Dear Mr. Bird,

In your recent fundraising letter, you quoted a McCain advisor as describing Senator Obama as, '...a perfect manifestation of a September 10th mindset,' adding that this remark, '...did not sit well with us here at CNIF,' since, 'After the attacks of September 11th, it became very apparent to everyone in the United States that Washington needed to know more about the Middle East in order to understand the root causes of terrorism.'

This statement implies a 'blowback' interpretation of 9/11--that is, one that essentially accepts the Bush administration's account in its identification of the culprits, though characterizing their motives differently (bad foreign policy 'blew back' to the U.S. by provoking Muslims to attack us). And this interpretation we might in turn describe as a manifestation of a 'September 12th mindset'--a mindset born of shock in the immediate aftermath of those events, when the American public was readiest to believe what they were told by people in authority.

From the latest issue of American Interest magazine, an interview with Obama foreign policy adviser, Trilateralist, Soviet-phobe, former National Security Adviser and Rockefeller stooge Zbigniew Brzezinski. Notice the condescending tone that this lich evokes towards the general public. We are imbeciles in his opinion.

The first is about Afghanistan, then and now, and the supposed lingering burdens of certain key decisions made when you were National Security Advisor to President Carter. The second is about how, as you’ve put it many times, we need to understand complex parts of the world for what they are, rather than impose our own preconceptions on them. And the third concerns how well the intelligence community serves us in this regard.

Kurt Nimmo says in this article, Corporate Media Embraces 9/11 Blowback Theory http://kurtnimmo.com/?p=870 , that Ron Paul's dust up about 9/11 with Giuliani is in opposition to 9/11 truth. While I fully agree that blowback has been used, especially by gatekeepers like Chomsky, to go against 9/11 truth, in actually, it isn't in opposition at all.
