I'm glad somebody brought up the Larry Silverstein comment, because we certainly looked at that... What he says is "they decided to pull" which is referring to the fire department. And of course in some circles of the controlled demolition industry "Pull" is used to mean that you actually demolish a building.

Just over a year later, Popular Mechanics changes their story...

Having spoken to any number of large controlled demolition firms... the term "Pull it" is not a demolition term... We have never heard it used that way and neither actually have the people who do this professionally that we spoke to.(More after jump...)

An interesting analysis of the collapse of WTC7, incorporating the latest available photographic evidence.

The 9/11 Truth Movement needs to be careful about putting so many of it’s eggs in the controlled demolition basket. The proof for this theory is not as solid as the many other issues related to government involvement in the 9/11 attacks.

In the case of Building 7, the debate now seems to center on the amount of damage the building received when WTC 1 collapsed, and the interpretation of how the building would behave with the varying amounts of damage it could have recieved. Exact measurements of the amount of damage are difficult to prove, as there are no reliable photographs of an important gash in the side of the building. Recollections from firefighters about that day are the best information to go on.

Thought this was the pretty halloween gift for the truthers!

Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel

Got the following email tonight:

I was just in Atlanta last weekend for business and stayed at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel. While there I realized that the hotel went as highas the 47th floor which is the same height as building 7. I rode to the top and bottom take a few pictures as a reference to show people just how large of a building 47 floors is. I thought that maybe these could be posted on 911blogger for folks to see for themselves. Actually, the pics don't do it justice b/c when you're on the top floor (47) and look all the down, you can't help but wonder how a building that massive could "just collapse" without any help. These pics are from the inside and one pic that I got off the web of the outside. Marriott's website list the building at 50 floors but that is taking the sub floors into account. The lobby is floor 1 and the last floor at the top literally stops at 47. I even took a picture next to the elevator as proof that I was on floor 47 and you can also see in that same picture the glass ceiling in the background. I hope that these give people a little better perspective of just how large 47 floors really is. Thanks!

Prison Planet found a video clip with potential explosions -- as well as firefighters discussing the imminent collapse of the building and saying it is "about to blow up" -- before the collapse.

Just an possible explanation why WTC7 went down in an , what looks like an controled demolision.
They hade to "Pull the building" when the plaine didnt crash. because they could not let the building standing, full with rigged explosives.
They would have been found othervise.

In regards to the post, what is it that went wrong, I have an idea I'd like to float by the community.

I have a feeling something went quite wrong on that day, ie not according to plan. I dont mean Shanksville and all that, but WTC7. I mean, it cant have been part of a master plan to bring it down as obvious as it was done, i think. So, what should have happend? Another plane? Hm, i dont think so. What else ? Im sure people here have a few ideas to offer.

For many years I've heard people speculate as to where Flight 93 was headed. People would say that it was headed for Camp David, The White House, or even The Statue of Liberty, oh my! To that, I would always reply, "what if it was headed towards WTC 7?" That's the point that people would flip-out. Should I go on? I will.

The military says the plane wasn't shot down. Truthers say the plane didn't crash in Shanksville. When a group is very adamant about a view, I tend to believe them. When two groups are so adamant about seemingly opposing views, I'll try to look for a third view that fits the story. So, if the plane didn't crash, and if it wasn't shot down, then what happened? The mission was aborted. The flight took off late, and it would be gross negligence if that plane hit its intended target (its target being WTC 7). In fact, the 9/11 Commission almost indicted military officials because the current story doesn't add up. If another plane would've hit another building in New York an hour later, and the military didn't stop it, the story would not have held as long as it has. It would turn the story from the military responding slowly, to the military standing down.

YouTube poster parkerjax found a video showing 3 sides of building 7. It doesn't look like there are any big fires or substantial structural damage on the three sides shown. Judge for yourself.

"I just found this obscure video of WTC 7 prior to its collapse on 9/11/01. The video shows a lot of important information.

The South & West sides can clearly be seen. Smoke is coming from the foreground (not WTC 7) and is also pouring out of WTC 7. The thick black smoke seems indicitave of diesel fires, although the NIST says, "no diesel smells reported from the exterior, stairwells, or lobby" [Source: NIST, Preliminary Response to the World Trade Center Disaster, April 5, 2005].

On August 2, 2005 the NIST made a "special call today for photographic and video images" and went on to say that they "are especially interested in WTC 7 and views of the South and West faces of the towers."

Sorry if this has been posted before but everyone must watch this video. I didnt even know it existed.

A person who goes by the name of "einsteen" over on Loose Change's message boards has translated and posted a much more detailed and extended version of a recent interview conducted with Controlled Demolition Expert Danny Jowenko, in which he confirms that Building 7 was indeed brought down via controlled demolition.

Excerpts from this unedited raw footage first appeared on a Dutch television news program called, Zembla investigates 9/11 theories (2006).
