In a tired old tradition Obama has pardoned two turkeys for Thanksgiving that go by the saccharin appellations of Cobbler and Gobbler. Obama was quoted as saying in a not funny joke, jokes that poke fun at the unjustly dead are never funny, : “the American people have spoken, and these birds are moving forward!” This, according to the reporter was "in a reference to his campaign slogan of 'Forward.' " What the fatuous Dallas News (dot) Com reporter failed to mention is that this self same "Forward" was Obama's weasel worded mantra to fend off questions regarding criminal acts by the Bush/Cheney regime. It seems that Obama is trying to "take back" this vulgar phrase by putting a different and positive spin on it and by mentioning it over and over in order to relegate the initial utterance into obscurity.

Other not funny jokes: Bush's Correspondents Dinner search for WMD's and Obama's threat to use Predator Drones on the Jonas Brothers, both vulgar and tasteless. Anyone know any good Hiroshima jokes?

Following 9/11, news media accelerated at an amazing rate, and most companies soon adopted internet versions of their paper or magazines. Before this was commonplace, many interesting pieces of information printed about that day most likely were never reprinted again–due to false information or just abandonment by the propagandists. We hope that they continue with this project, it's fascinating to say the least, and possible they will uncover something most journalists and researchers have completely forgotten.

NewsFocus Op/Ed: The article above is pure insanity. Those that buy this line of public relations BS are falling for a lame-ass, very feeble excuse with no merit of logic or intelligence. Bush was the Commander in Chief of the United States. When he stole the Presidency, he stole that title as well. His sole job in that capacity was to help coordinate a national defense of the U.S. By his illogic, he admits to having no clue as to how to be a grown up and simply excuse himself from a classroom of children that knew nothing about what Andy Card had just told him. So how is it that those poor little kids would have been scared when the President of the United States had to get up and leave to "go to work?" They see their daddy and mommy do it every single day. How on earth was that going to traumatize the kids?

MEDIA ROOTS- Last year marked the tenth anniversary of America's invasion of Afghanistan, officially making it the longest war in US history. Now that Osama Bin Laden is finally confirmed dead, the federal government's logic of continuing the occupation remains unclear.

Initially, the Bush administration irrationally insisted that any sovereign nation harboring terrorists was itself complicit in "terror" and therefore open for pre-emptive US military action. This rationale is absurd– just because one criminal might be living inside of a particular country doesn't make that entire country guilty of the criminal's crimes.

In 2002, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld was quick to tell CNN that US forces had successfully pushed the Taliban and Al Qaeda out of the region, and reports reveal that Osama Bin Laden hadn't even been in Afghanistan since 2001. Additionally, a White House spokesperson recently admitted that there hasn't been a terrorist threat in the country for the last eight years.

So what has the US been doing in Afghanistan for the last decade?

During the Bush-era, a great many Americans were swept up in the spying dragnet laid after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 by federal officials hoping to prevent another major terrorist attack -- people like pacifist Christians, liberal activists, families with members overseas and even street-level falafel sellers.

Note: This is an updated version of the video I posted last Friday. This one only has about 2 minutes of Olbermann - less Keith - and more 9/11 truth. Some day, hopefully, the two will be one and the same. Please recommend this to friends and family who like Keith but haven't figured out the truth about 9/11.

This aired last night. Olbermann must be one of our closest friends in the mainstream media. I find him truly remarkable. Listen for when he makes reference to "conspiracy theorists" and "fertilizer". Was he alluding to the 9/11 Truth Movement?

Poll: More Americans Blame Bush for 9/11

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The percentage of Americans who blame the Bush administration for the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington has risen from almost a third to almost half over the past four years, a CNN poll released Monday found.

Asked whether they blame the Bush administration for the attacks, 45 percent said either a "great deal" or a "moderate amount," up from 32 percent in a June 2002 CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll.

But the Clinton administration did not get off lightly either. The latest poll, conducted by Opinion Research Corporation for CNN, found that 41 percent of respondents blamed his administration a "great deal" or a "moderate amount" for the attacks.

That's only slightly less than the 45 percent who blamed his administration in a poll carried out less than a week after the attacks.

Still, most Americans appear to be fatalistic, with more than half -- 57 percent -- saying they think that terrorists will "always find a way to launch attacks no matter what the U.S. government does."

We should take advantage of this. How about a campaign to inform military bases, families, etc that Bush has admitted NO connection between Iraq and 9/11?
