Call to Action

Urgent Call to Action: S 1959/HR 1955 About to Pass

This bill can make all who participate in non-violent, civil disobedience labeled a potential terrorist. Your words could be considered "promoting an extremist belief system", and YOU ARE THE TERRORIST (WHICH MEANS THEY CAN STRIP YOUR CITIZENSHIP, AND HAVE YOU TORTURED AND EXECUTED).

Grassroots America, A Non Profit

Greetings!

As my daughter threw herself onto Independence Ave last month in her passionate plea to stop the second deployment of her brother and respect the earth at the "No War, No Warming" protest, she did not know about this upcoming senate bill. This bill that passed 404-6 in the house is poised to pass in our Senate. This bill looks to make myself, my daughter and all others who participate in non-violent, civil disobedience a potential terrorist.
Please call your senator and oppose S 1959.

(You can post responses here. The guy at Republican Senator Smith's office was warm when I mentioned S. 1959, until I told him why I opposed it. The lady at Democrat Senator Wyden's office was very receptive.)

Thank you again for all your support.

Bin Laden, Most Wanted For Embassy Bombings?

The question is, why hasn't he been indicted? According to this, OBL was indicted for a terrorist attack in 1999, but they can't be bothered to indict him for 9/11? The largest attack ever on U.S. soil, responsible for 2 wars and countless more in the future? Thanks to Michael, Ray, and Truth01 for sendin this in:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/08/27/AR2006082700687.html

Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is a longtime and prominent member of the FBI's "Ten Most Wanted" list, which notes his role as the suspected mastermind of the deadly U.S. embassy bombings in East Africa on Aug. 7, 1998. But another more infamous date -- Sept. 11, 2001 -- is nowhere to be found on the same FBI notice.

The curious omission underscores the Justice Department's decision, so far, to not seek formal criminal charges against bin Laden for approving al-Qaeda's most notorious and successful terrorist attack. The notice says bin Laden is "a suspect in other terrorist attacks throughout the world" but does not provide details.
