The tape would be the first time Bin Laden has spoken publicly since March 25.

Bin Laden's whereabouts are unknown, but in August, the US commander in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus, said bin Laden is "far buried" in the remote mountains between Afghanistan and Pakistan and that capturing him remains a key task.

WE ARE CHANGE Ottawa goes to the Prorogation Rally - Jan 23rd,2010

WE ARE CHANGE Ottawa goes to the Prorogation Rally - Jan 23rd,2010 in hopes to wake up a few minds... This was a rally because Stephen Harper prrorogued the Government and this caused an uproar with the general public. We encountered some people who agreed with our points of views on the North American Union, 9/11 Truth and Climate Change and many more than did not agree. Hopefully we exposed many of them of messages not seen on the mainstream and they can begin to ween themselves off the controlled mainstream media.

An Open Letter From U.S. Scientists on Climate Change

An Open Letter From U.S. Scientists on Climate Change

December 06, 2009 - Znet
http://www.zmag.org/znet/viewArticle/23299

As U.S. scientists with substantial expertise on climate change and its impacts on natural ecosystems, our built environment and human well-being, we want to assure policy makers and the public of the integrity of the underlying scientific research and the need for urgent action to reduce heat-trapping emissions. In the last few weeks, opponents of taking action on climate change have misrepresented both the content and the significance of stolen emails to obscure public understanding of climate science and the scientific process.

We would like to set the record straight.

Alexander Cockburn's climate change adventure
The Nation columnist goes through the global warming looking glass, and comes out looking like a 9/11 "truther."

Andrew Leonard

May. 04, 2007 | The dose of Alexander Cockburn's global warming skepticism included in the recent special issue of the Nation on Cuba (and available in full from ZNet) elicited immediate derision in the enviroblogosphere. But no single rebuttal has been as amusing as the one by George Monbiot, the environmental bomb-throwing columnist for the Guardian, who, with all the precision and attention to detail of a brain surgeon, demonstrates how Cockburn has neatly relegated himself to a loony bin full of conspiracy theorists who look remarkably similar to people Cockburn has previously ridiculed. It's simply too good not to pass along, and thanks much to Grist for bringing it to our attention.
