Former Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta answered questions from members of 9/11 Truth Seattle.org about his testimony before the 9/11 Commission report.

Mineta says Vice President Cheney was "absolutely" already there when he arrived at approximately 9:25 a.m. in the PEOC (Presidential Emergency Operations Center) bunker on the morning of 9/11. Mineta seemed shocked to learn that the 9/11 Commission Report claimed Cheney had not arrived there until 9:58-- after the Pentagon had been hit, a report that Mineta definitively contradicted.

Norman Mineta revealed that Lynn Cheney was also in the PEOC bunker already at the time of his arrival, along with a number of other staff.

The US Central Intelligence Agency is to declassify hundreds of documents detailing some of the agency's worst illegal abuses from the 1950s to 1970s.


The papers, to be released next week, will detail assassination plots, domestic spying and wiretapping, kidnapping and human experiments.

Many of the incidents are already known, but the documents are expected to give more comprehensive accounts.

It is "unflattering" but part of agency history, CIA chief Michael Hayden said.

"This is about telling the American people what we have done in their name," Gen Hayden told a conference of foreign policy historians.

The documents, dubbed the "Family Jewels", offer a "glimpse of a very different time and a very different agency".

The full 693-page file detailing CIA illegal activities was compiled on the orders of the then CIA director James Schlesinger in 1973.

He had been alarmed by accounts of CIA involvement in the Watergate scandal under his predecessor and asked CIA officials to inform him of all activities that fell outside the agency's legal charter.

Being that I am still receiving comments that I faked the BBC footage, in which WTC7 was pronounced collapsed at 4:57pm and is still standing behind Jane Standley at least 13 minutes prior to the actual collapse time of 5:20pm, I decided to revisit the BBC footage for further analysis and additional footage to prove authenticity (sad, but turned out well in the end).

The entire mainstream media. Literally hundreds of TV stations, and newspapers, weekly news magazines, the wire services, and a few hundred radio stations, not only in the USA, but in Britain, Australia, and much of Western Europe. These people are either totally unreliable, too stupid to see what is right in front of them, or too scared to do their jobs properly. Would you ever again trust any reporter who decided to support the official government conspiracy, even though he/she knew it was a cavalcade of lies, because that person was afraid of losing their income?

"9/11 Mysteries" is a film that has come along at the right time to supply a critical element to the ongoing debate over what really caused the collapses of the World Trade Center buildings.

I have recently been viewing some of the ongoing Internet debates surrounding various books and films on 9/11. A recent debate involving two passionate devotees of opposing views ultimately turned on "my experts are better than your experts."

The argument was fine-tuned at one point on whether one college professor was sufficiently "peer reviewed" and how much criticism was generated within the ranks of his colleagues for his opinions.

"9/11 Mysteries" invokes a breath of fresh air into the ongoing debate. This is perhaps an ironic way of stating the point in view of the difficulty of breathing at all at Ground Zero, but this has been accomplished with this brilliantly revealing documentary, and for a fundamental reason.

Here I was, all excited.

I had just cross-posted my first "real" article, American Thinker says 9/11 skepticism "extremely dangerous" on SmirkingChimp.com and saw it get lots of views (700+) and good votes and positive comments and spend some time in the "most emailed" list and then suddenly... comments and votes were suddenly shut down. (Before I could get the ten votes required to be on the "most recommended" list.)

My commentary was in reaction to an article in American Thinker that essentially suggested that 9/11 skeptics were a dangerous and potentially treasonous lot, sapping the martial spirit of our nation's youth with theories of sinister government activities.

"An Environmental Protection Agency whistleblower who has long argued that her agency failed to issue proper warnings about air quality at the World Trade Center disaster site, has leveled new accusations against the agency, RAW STORY has learned.

As RAW STORY reported this past August, Cate Jenkins, an EPA biochemist, sent a letter to the New York congressional delegation, alleging that the inconsistent official reports about inhalant alkalinity were part of an intentional cover up by government scientists and officials.

Jenkins' latest sixty-page document, addressed to the acting Inspector General of the EPA, is in large part a compilation of her previous allegations, but also claims to offer new evidence that criminal fraud is to blame.

In the latest report, Jenkins contends that by failing to report that some of the particulates in the air constituted a severe health hazard--and by suppressing the results of tests for the presence of other toxic chemicals--the EPA misled the public about the dire health consequences of remaining near ground zero or participating in the clean-up effort in the days following the attack.

A lot of us within the 9/11 Truth Movement spend an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out the crime that took place on 9/11. We want to figure out who, what, when, why, and where. Simply put, no one within this movement has the proper access to the information we need in order to do that. We don't have access to classified documentation, the Air Traffic Controllers, the pilots, the NORAD officers on duty that morning, the individuals within the PEOC, and many other facets that would need to be looked at in order to solve this crime.

Sure, we have an idea of who was involved. Sure, we have an idea of why they were involved. However, we could spend an eternity trying to figure out the what, when, and where, and never accomplish anything.

Most of us "joined" the movement when we realized that our Government was covering up aspects of the crime. There are a plethora of examples that show this.

The following list shows the signs of a cover-up involving our Government, and the attacks of 9/11:

• Colin Powell promised a "white paper" that would establish the guilt of Osama Bin Laden and associates. That never came.
  
• Dick Cheney and George Bush asked Tom Daschle to "limit the scope" of the Congressional Inquiry.
  
• The Congressional Inquiry released a report with 28 redacted pages.
