When researcher and author David Ray Griffin decided to call his first book on September 11 “The New Pearl Harbor” it was more than a passing suggestion that an historic analogy existed between the two events.

The more we learn about September 11, the more we realize that also the internal dynamics in both events bear a chilling resemblance between each other.

I was recently interviewed on a public access TV show called "Vermont Today" (for 90 minutes). We discuss an exchange of letters between four concerned citizens (including myself) and NIST. Credit for the revealing NIST correspondence goes especially to Wayne Coste of AE911Truth for drafting our letters for us, and to Jerry Carpenter for taking initiative locally.

The discussion may seem to start off a bit slow, as we were trying to get some legal analysis from a local prosecutor who is now running for Mayor of Burlington. He takes a very diplomatic position, and then excuses himself. In the later parts of the interview we discuss Cass Sunstein's paper and my critique of it, as well as "foiled terrorist plots" led by informants. Near the end I also discuss Barry Jennings. The most significant part--the only part where really new information is presented--is the discussion of NIST's response to our letters (which starts around minute 25). It is the particulars of NIST's evasions that I think are very telling.

Secretary of Transportation, Norman Mineta's testimony was omitted from the final 9/11 Commission Report. But David Ray Griffin found it in the May 2003 Commission Staff Report. And it was on C-SPAN, which led it to being posted by many people many times on YouTube and other video sharing sites. Griffin's book, The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions & Distortions, was the inspiration for these lyrics, which I later made into a video. Maybe some of you will use it and pass it on!

In his blog post Richard Falk did not "claim" or "suggest" that "9/11 was US plot" or that the "US government may have orchestrated the September 11 terrorist attacks." New video helps the War against Terrorism

Over the last century, the most astounding historical discoveries of man-made artifacts have often been accomplished by well-funded, highly experienced researchers. From the excavation of King Tut’s tomb to the sighting of the sunken Titanic, stunning finds have required immense financial and human resources, as well as leadership by distinguished explorers. So, how did a mountain of never-before-seen footage used in NIST’s World Trade Center investigations get exposed to the light of day last month? Was it the work of a billionaire adventurer?

Not quite. You can thank an upstart non-profit, the International Center for 9/11 Studies, whose efforts have at last borne fruit.

The International Center for 9/11 Studies was founded in 2008 by Director James Gourley, a Texas lawyer who began questioning the events of 9/11 after watching a presentation given by David Ray Griffin on C-SPAN.

Though research into the events of 9/11 has not yet attained the rigor achieved by EBM, it is still possible to rank the research in this field according to evidence-based principles. This article explains the principles, points to sources that exemplify them, and argues the ethical obligation of librarians and journalists to advance those sources .

As many in the 9/11 truth community know, David Ray Griffin has been in the hospital. He is recovering from major back surgery and serious complications from it. He will recover completely and be able to return to the cause, but his recovery will require a rather long time. Shortly after taking office on January 20, 2009 President Obama appointed Harvard law professor (and personal friend) Cass Sunstein to the post of administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. In June 2009 Sunstein published an essay in The Journal of Political Philosophy entitled "Conspiracy Theories: Causes and Cures," in which he provided an "analysis" of conspiracy theories, viewing them, as his title indicated, as "caused" by psychological conditions and requiring "cures", i.e., elimination. I have been interested in the Kennedy Assassination since I was a teenager. You might assume that, given a propensity towards researching what some derogatorily call a “conspiracy theory,” I might have jumped to immediate conclusions regarding the tragedies of September 11, 2001. It wasn’t until 2005, however, that little bits of random 9-11 information coalesced into an uneasy feeling that something was amiss. I wasn’t looking for it. I had a young son and a new teaching job to occupy my attention, yet these fragments of information started nagging me.

The officials couldn’t find the airplanes’ “black boxes” containing flight information, yet they found a paper passport presumably owned by one of the Middle Eastern highjackers—named on a list the FBI compiled with amazing speed, yet no similar names were on the original flight lists the airlines gave to CNN. The passport belonged to a Middle Eastern man, Mohammed Atta, a supposed devout and fanatic Muslim who ate pork, snorted coke, and rented prostitutes.
