You need to go to the site to see the vid and article. What is disturbing is that you can see the wings go through the block of cement, however, they fail to mention that there was no wing damage to the Pentagon building.

Also no mention of how thick the wall of the Pentagon is to their experiment wall, nor the grade of density of the cement used in their experimental wall, which appears to be about 4 feet thick. The F-4 is considerably smaller than a 757. In addition, WND does not show photos of the wall or debris after the experiment, so how do we know there wasn't any debris. I don't know about F-4 engines, but I do know that on a 757 the material for many of the parts of the engines: like fan blades and turbine blades are made from titanium or other extremely dense alloys.

Then they poll the reader: "Does+the+video+change+the+way+you+think+of+9/11?"

After months of cooperative effort, we are proud to announce "The 2008 Declaration: Standards and Strategies for 9/11 Truth." Many truth movement veterans came together after the 9/11/07 anniversary with concerns over the increasing influence of disinformation, disruption, partisanship, and irresponsible representation within the movement. This story contains classic examples of the psy-ops/disinformation techniques of "limited hang-out," "misdirection," "delay, delay, delay," and just getting the details of the matter so bollixed up the public will become confused and go away.

Here's a pretty good definition of "limited hang-out": A limited hangout is a form of deception, misdirection, or coverup often associated with intelligence agencies involving a release or "mea culpa" type of confession of only part of a set of previously hidden sensitive information, that establishes credibility for the one releasing the information who by the very act of confession appears to be "coming clean" and acting with integrity; but in actuality by withholding key facts is protecting a deeper crime and those who could be exposed if the whole truth came out.

What's the "whole truth?" The official story of 9/11 is false. Yes, we all know that, but this is a very big nail in its coffin. This is a big story and should be followed closely. This is also a good "detail" to bring up with friends who are still lost in the woods. Alvin

If you have seen the film, 9-11 In Plane Site, you are familiar with the man known as Mike Walter of USA Today, even though you may have never heard his name. He is the man who was an eyewitness to the crash at the Pentagon and many have dishonestly used an interview he did on CNN on September 11th, 2001 to justify the idea that a missile, not AA77 hit the Pentagon on 9-11. Below is an excerpt from that interview that appeared in the 9-11 film, In Plane Site at approximately 6 minutes, 45 seconds into the film:

On Tuesday, November 6, 2007, a House Homeland Security Subcommittee had a hearing on "Terrorism and the Internet".* The hearing featured presentations from several groups, including a former employee of the RAND Corporation, and Mark Weitzman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. The hearing was chaired by Democratic Rep. Jane Harman, and ranking Republican, Rep. Dave Reichert.

Toward the end of the hearing, Weitzman rolls out a PowerPoint presentation that presents a few 9/11 truth sites sandwiched in between websites that offer training in terrorist tactics, and a website that glorified the attack of 9/11. Among the websites presented under the heading "Internet: Incubator of 9/11 Conpiracies and Disinformation", are Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, and other sites, such as Killtown's, who brought this Hearing to our attention.

Now, we wouldn't want anybody getting the wrong idea here. Here at 911blogger we are opposed to any and all terrorist activities, including STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM. Don't really care who the state is either. It's all bad.

Californians, if Harman is your representative, please set her straight. Washington state, if Reichert is your critter, don't let him absorb this crap with no static.

CSPAN has been more than fair to 9/11 skeptics. Last year they broadcast Alex Jones' American+Scholars+Symposium, in 2005, they broadcast David+Ray+Griffin, and they will probably listen to feedback+regarding+this+broadcast.

View the hearing as a video stream here -- the pertinent section begins at the 43:31 mark, but I recommend watching the entire program, because there is so much disinformation in the broadcast itself, it's hard to know where to begin unraveling it.

Two highly effective forms of disinformation are spreading crazy theories and acting in a crazy manner.

Poisoning the Well

Most of us have heard the term "poisoning the well" in connection with false 9/11 theories. If you haven't, the idea is that people trying to discredit the 9/11 movement will intentionally spread false theories to discredit everyone who questions 9/11.

Spreading theories that are obviously nutty right-out-of-the box paints the entire movement with a negative color. But other theories that may at first appear to be attractive -- but are flawed or based on incomplete evidence and so can be definitively debunked by the government at a later time -- can also end up pulling the rug out from the entire 9/11 truth movement.

9/11 activists spend a lot of time trying to figure out who is a government "disinformation agent" and who is not.

I would argue that it is a total waste of time.

If someone is being disruptive, or seems to pursuing one of the 5 goals of disinformation, then he or she is causing problems and should be avoided -- or at least not given a megaphone. It doesn't matter what the motivation is: whether ego, confusion, or a government paycheck.

Sure, some people might want to understand someone's motivations to know whether or not to give him or her a second chance. That's fine.

But if it quacks like a duck, its probably a duck. Its a waste of time to try to figure out why it quacks, or whether its a mandarin duck or a mallard. Just treat it like a duck.

A prominent 9/11 truth leader sent the following email about disinformation and disruption in the 9/11 movement. I'm waiting for permission to use his name. I assure you, though, that he is someone with no axe to grind, and who is not in "one" camp or the "other". He cares only about truth.

His message provides a road map for how to deal with the infiltration, co-option, disruption and disinformation which has been unleashed against the 9/11 truth and justice movements, since those movements have the power to pull the rug out from under the whole fascist enterprise.

Allow me to suggest that we don’t need to choose between denunciation, on the one hand, and silence, on the other. That is an unnecessary choice, a false dichotomy.

Denunciation plays into their hands, which is unintended complicity.

Silence is also complicity, as Dr. Martin Luther King pointed out.

Instead of these two approaches, what’s needed is politically relevant education.

Education about agents of all kinds, especially agents provocateurs, their history, who employs them, their tactics.

The 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon were brainstormed, arranged and executed by dark, shadow agents of the American government seeking to throw us into shock, horror and then rage. Their ultimate goal was US military action in the Middle East.

Theories like the above are all over. Not only do books, magazines and websites spout them, but home brewed films like Loose Change, seek to "uncover truth" about that Tuesday morning in September of 2001. Hollywood celebrities like Charlie Sheen and Rosie O'Donnell have even embraced 9-11 conspiracy theories.

My name is Michele Little, sister of Fallen Firefighter FDNY, David M. Weiss of Rescue 1, Midtown Manhattan.

I met Jon Gold in Chandler, AZ at the 9/11 Accountability Conference in February 2007 where I was an invited to speak as a family member. Jon and I became fast friends and we speak on a consistent basis.

Jon is known by many family members as a compassionate man who stands by our side for truth and justice. Through the 9/11 Truth Movement, he speaks out sharing his knowledge for truth and justice with anyone who is ready to wake up to facts that are pivotal to being an American.

To hear anything to the contrary as many people heard through Webster Tarpley’s words and finger pointing in New York City the weekend before September the 11th Memorial was unimaginable and unexpected.

Jon is a good man with good intentions and should be honored for his kindness, thoughtfulness and outspokenness on behalf of the 9/11 Family Members, Survivors and 9/11 Responders.

This is a brief look at a few misleading illustrations, including figures 2-1 & 2-2 from FEMA's World Trade Center Building Performance Study, and NOVA's illustration of the WTC core.

Each of the images below depicts a cross-section of one of the Twin Towers, using a 512x512 pixel image as a scale basis for the creation of the 47 core columns at the center of each tower.

These models were created in Second Life.

First, FEMA 403 fig. 2-2, (Representative structural framing plan, upper floors), in which the core columns are depicted by red dots.

These dots are identical in size and placement to the depiction of core columns in fig. 2-1 (a structural framing plan representative of an upper floor in the towers).

There is a new disinfo "documentary" titled "Screw 911 Mysteries" which you may wish to look into. The author goes on about one sentence in "9/11 Mysteries" that "110 storeys hurled Earthward, pulverizing into dust" and he attacks the straw man argument that steel was pulverized in the WTC collapse, which clearly "9/11 Mysteries" does not argue. I don't know if it's worth paying attention to, it's clearly crap. But so far the discussion forum has not provided a cogent rebuttal (which would require actually watching the whole video) and the author is still trumpeting his doc as a "debunking." Somehow the "debunking" movement still powers itself by demanding 9/11 truthers bear the burden of proof when the official theory does not prove its case. But the public is still very confused about this issue. So, how should we respond to stuff like this? Point-by-point refutation which barely anybody will read?

A new article published in the Journal of 9/11 studies discusses disinformation and misinformation. This article was originally written for 9/11 Blogger.

Abstract:

The new 9/11 movie "The Explosive Reality", which was coincidentally(?) released just after 911 Mysteries was pulled from Google, seems to have more problems than just the dubious 'foreign soldier' footage.

In the last minutes of the film (i watched the DivX version that is now being spread as a torrent) the filmmaker makes the extraordinary claim that the footage of those days contained red flashes "to incite fear and anger into the viewing audience". Below is the text that appears in the last minutes of this movie just before all the clips containing the alleged 'red flashes' are repeated.

As many of the regular visitors know, I have reviewed many, many, many hours of this high quality 9/11 archive footage However, i had never encountered these flashes.

It turns out that i had never noticed them because the flashes are simply not there in the orginal high quality mpegs. It's a hoax. I can only speculate as to why someone would do this (i'll leave that up to you in the comments). De-interlacing has nothing to do with it. The flashes are not present in either field of the interlaced image.

Deconstructing Deceit: 9/11, the Media, and Misinformation

What: An afternoon colloquium on recent historical public perception management, information control, and propaganda surrounding the events of September 11, 2001. The two sessions will focus on media coverage and misinformation around 9/11 issues with examples of case studies concerning the destruction of the WTC towers and Building 7.

It has recently come to my attention that CNN has broadcast some pieces on Jewish "9/11 Conspiracy Theories". I am not absolutely sure when these were first broadcast, because the youtube videos have been re-packaged, editorialised and titled "9/11 was a Jew Job".

The videos are very anti-semitic. They use the label "Jew" over and over again in captions which have been overlaid on the original CNN piece, a typical Nazi-style technique. Basically this is disinformation, because it taints 9/11 Truth with the stain of Nazism, anti-semitism and holocaust denial. The news piece features Christopher Bollyn who has neo Nazi associations and Eric Hufschmid who is a holocaust denier.

Giuliani Says Nation at War Requires Him

CHARLESTON, S.C., April 6 — As Rudolph W. Giuliani introduced himself to primary voters this week, he rarely talked about the details of New York’s darkest day.

But Sept. 11 was a constant backdrop, and as Mr. Giuliani promoted his vision of a forceful foreign policy that calls for the United States to continue slugging it out in Iraq, he let his audiences know that his was an outlook forged by fire.

“What they say in Washington is not going to affect the fact that there are terrorists around the world that are planning to come here and kill us,” he said in Iowa, in the most spirited part of his newly honed stump speech.

Pointing his finger and bouncing up and down on his toes, he declared, “It is something I understand better than anyone else running for president.”

At a house party in New Hampshire, Mr. Giuliani suggested that it was unclear which was farther along, Iran or North Korea, in the development of a nuclear weapons program.
