PART 1 of 8:

This is Jim Fetzer, your host with Kevin Barrett, where you can catch The Boy Wonder here on Mondays and Fridays, and I’m here Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You can, that is, unless he’s off in Morocco trying to track down one of those alleged suicide hijackers. He speaks fluent French and Arabic and, of course, he is a convert to Islam, and I think if anyone can pull of this stunt, it’s going to be Kevin. So I look forward to hopefully even having him on the show so he can talk about what he’s discovered while he’s over there.

Mine and Gold's email correspondence with Chomsky - Lets give him what he wants!

A while back for people who don't know me and Jon Gold had a good email exchange with Noam Chomsky regarding 9/11 truth and his stance (for anyone interested you can read them here in full on the Loose Change boards). After these exchanges were made a load of other great mails were sent by people from this site, which received equally interesting and at times frustrating replies from Chomsky. But amidst all of this great contact that was made, I think we missed a chance to follow up on what he actually wanted to see before stepping on board, to some degree at least, with 9/11 truth.

Have a read of what he said here;

Dr. Steven Jones - Views on Science and Faith

Views on Science and Faith

Dr. Steven Jones - May17, 2007

The modern scientific method allows us to ask questions and get answers quite independent of the religious views we individually espouse. The key is repeatability, that is, an agnostic will get the same result in valid scientific measurements as will a believer in God – one's personal beliefs will not affect the outcome of repeatable experiments. Accordingly, ad hominem arguments that a person believes in the resurrection of Jesus Christ (for example) and so he is to be ignored -- are not valid arguments against the person's scientific research.

To denigrate a scientist's research because of his personal beliefs is therefore considered very bad form in the scientific community.

Dave Emory's Disinfo Attack on Steven E. Jones

May 12, 2007 - Dave Emory has issued a correction to his broadcast, but the blog entry in which the correction is made is a further smear piece, expanding on the other, weaker points made by Emory, and reinforced by the person who maintains the blog. Correction noted Emory, now get to work on the last decade's worth of corrections. -r.

I used to listen to Dave Emory at length. I found his theory that an "underground Reich" is at work causing mischief, murder and mayhem all over the world fascinating. He bolsters his theory with an impressive backlog of archived radio programs that have been broadcast on station WFMU.

One of the cornerstones of Emory's theory is a book by Paul Manning, "Martin Bormann: Nazi in Exile".

Much of the “For The Record” series deals with the Bormann Organization and the research done on that by the late Paul Manning ... The Third Reich has been able to survive—underground—in deadly, Mafia-like fashion ... His death at the end of the war having been effectively faked by Gestapo chief (and later security director for the Bormann group) SS General Heinrich Muller, Martin Bormann proceeded to lead the economic and political affairs of the Underground Reich and (in effect) the Federal Republic of Germany ... When Paul was finally able to get Lyle Stuart Inc. to publish the book, Lyle Stuart had both of his legs broken the week the book was published ... source

There is only one problem with this book. Martin Bormann is dead. D-E-D dead. He has been dead since May 2, 1945. This was proven once, when Bormann's skeletal remains were discovered in 1972. The remains were positively identified using the dental records of Bormann's (and Hitler's) personal dentist.

This proof wasn't good enough for folks claiming that the "remarkable and deadly Bormann Organization" was alive and kicking, so a mitochondrial DNA analysis was conducted, and the results published in the scientific journal, "The International Journal of Legal Medicine".

Contrary to statements of an eye-witness who reported that Martin Bormann, the second most powerful man in the Third Reich, died on 2 May 1945 in Berlin, rumours persisted over the years that he had escaped from Germany after World War II. In 1972, skeletal remains were found during construction work, and by investigating the teeth and the bones experts concluded that they were from Bormann. Nevertheless, new rumours arose and in order to end this speculation we were commissioned to identify the skeletal remains by mitochondrial DNA analysis. The comparison of the sequence of HV1 and HV2 from the skeletal remains and a living maternal relative of Martin Bormann revealed no differences and this sequence was not found in 1500 Caucasoid reference sequences. Based on this investigation, we support the hypothesis that the skeletal remains are those of Martin Bormann. source.

Maybe Emory should be calling it the "remarkable but bogus Bormann Organization".

Steven Jones Answers Questions About His Research In a Reply to 'Screw Loose Change'

An Open Letter to Dr. Steven Jones by James Bennett, with replies by Steven Jones

[Responses by Dr. Jones in Bold]

Dear Dr. Jones:

In a recent letter you criticized me, and Mark Roberts, for failing to notify you about questions that we had regarding your misrepresentation of a photograph of firefighters at Ground Zero searching for their fallen comrades with a flashlight. In this you expressed the hope that we would contact you in the future regarding such issues. While it is true that I had failed to contact you directly, although I am not sure how you missed this issue since it was publicized throughout the 9/11 conspiracy theory community, I had in fact contacted you on concerns I had about your misrepresentations of fact regarding other 9/11 issues previousy, but you failed to respond. Not being one who likes writing e-mails for the purpose of being ignored, I stopped trying.

Ex-BYU professor bases theory on examination of dust samples

By Philip Jankowski

Stephen E. Jones, a retired physicist from Brigham Young University, announced his findings Saturday that imply a controlled demolition as the cause of the collapse of the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001, instead of the impact from the two airplanes.

His findings were announced during the Project for the New American Citizen's two day event "Rebuilding America's Senses: Exposing False-Flag Terrorism to Prevent a New 9/11."

PNAC- 4/14/07- NEW 9/11 EVIDENCE

Steven Jones discusses the NIST report, thermite, and his new analysis of “iron rich spheres” found in dust samples taken from an apartment across the street from Ground Zero. This analysis provides additional “smoking gun” evidence that thermite was used in the destruction of the WTC towers. It is noteworthy that these dust samples were flown into this apartment during the destruction of the WTC towers.

Dr. Steven E. Jones disputes accusations made in documentary “Heavy Watergate: The War Against Cold Fusion”

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1qgbc_dr-steven-e-jones-disputes-accusati

This weekend (April 17-18, 2007) I traveled to Austin, TX to attend the Project for a New American Citizen (PNACitizen) sponsored event “Rebuilding America’s Senses: Exposing False-Flag Terrorism to Prevent a New 9/11”. While there, I had the great honor of meeting Dr. Steven Jones for the first time.

In the past few months, there has been widespread criticism of Dr. Steven Jones’ former muon-catalyzed research through the documentary “Heavy Watergate: The War Against Cold Fusion”:

A Description Of Molten Aluminum Poured Onto Rusty Steel

The article is noteworthy in that it describes the non-reaction of molten aluminum with rusty steel (answering questions raised by F. Greening) as well as the silvery appearance of poured out aluminum (answering questions raised by J. Wood). Lifferth is from Brigham Young University. - Steve Jones

I find it frightening how much focus is trying to discredit Dr. Jones. Let's focus on justice before we move on to theories in the public eye. We haven't caught the football yet, let's not run with it.

Frank Legge Letter in the Journal of 9/11 Studies: Thermite Questions Answered

A study of some issues raised in a paper by Wood and Reynolds

Frank Legge answers some of the common misunderstandings about thermite and its variants. This information is very important in understanding the thermate evidence discovered by Steven Jones and how it relates to his controlled demolition hypothesis.

Frank Legge [in bold], Jan 11, 2007 (Peer-reviewed Letter)

[Responding to a] paper by Wood and Reynolds, dated December 14, 2006:“The Scientific Method Applied to the Thermite Hypothesis”.

[Wood and Reynolds in italics]:

Steven Jones claimed that nano-enhanced thermite or thermate could account for pulverization of the Twin Towers. One difficulty with his hypothesis is that nano-enhanced thermite apparently did not exist in 2001 and only recently has the Department of Defense awarded contracts to prove and develop such a product.

CBS PULLS “HATCHET JOB” ON SCHOLARS FOR 9/11 TRUTH

Madison, WI (PRWEB) February 1, 2007 – Members of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, a non-partisan organization of students, experts and scholars dedicated to exposing falsehoods and revealing truths about 9/11, have some bones to pick with CBS NEWS for an article entitled, “Dangerous World Fuels Conspiracy Theories” (30 January 2007). According to James H. Fetzer, the society’s founder, “It is chock full of false assertions, even including misidentification of Steven Jones, my former co-chair, as the society’s founder.”

“That is rather rich,” Fetzer said. “Steve and I have had a parting of the ways over differences in our attitude and approach toward the science and the politics of 9/11 research. But if he had been ‘the founder’, he should have been conducting a ‘house cleaning’, not abandoning ship.” The split between them, Fetzer added, has had a beneficial effect. “A cult-like atmosphere had developed around him, which I considered to be bad for scientific research on 9/11.”
