It is an age-old tactic, when one cannot refute statements with facts, to attempt to discredit the witness. Rather than exchanging accusations, let me just go on record with facts and detailed citations.

When I became aware of incriminating evidence against high-level U.S. officials—elected and appointed—I filed under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and fought for five years in court. I bore tremendous cost, financially and emotionally, to make this data public. Here is the court case identification: C.A. No. 1:02CV01294 (ESH).

Few citizens have gone this far in a FOIA case to make covered-up information available to the public. No one gains financially from fighting this kind of thing in court, and I am no exception. You have called me a fantasist, but would a fabricator pay as dearly as I did to have her claims investigated?

The former FBI translator and whistleblower suggests blackmail may be at the heart of Congressional refusal to bring accountability and oversight to its own members - such as both Hastert and Harman - in matters of espionage and national security

I have been known to quote long-dead men in my past writings. Whether eloquently expressed thoughts by our founding fathers, or those artfully expressed by ancient Greek thinkers, these quotes have always done a better job starting or ending my thoughts - that tend to be expressed in long winding sentences. For this piece I am going to break with tradition and start with an appropriate quote from a living current senator, John Kerry: "It's a sad day when you have members of Congress who are literally criminals go undisciplined by their colleagues. No wonder people look at Washington and know this city is broken."

Perhaps some in U.S. would be interested in briliant arguments president Vaclav Klaus used yesterday against Lisbon Treaty (the clone of failed euroconstitution)  before Czech Constitutional Court.

Czech Republic and Ireland are only countries which so far didn't pass the Lisbon Treaty - the treaty which constitutes the European police superstate.

The Ireland was only country where the referendum was held and the Treaty was refused there in June. But the EU ignores the result and wants Ireland to repeat the vote.

In the Czech Republic there is strong oppossition against the Treaty in The Senate - which led to the decision not to ratify it and to send the Treaty to the Constitutional Court - to decide if the Treaty is compliant with the Czech Constitution - namely with the principle of sovereignity of the people and with the principles of the democratic and legally consistent state.

The main facts from the last year research made by the British think-tank OpenEurope, conducted in all member states of the European Union:

1. On the average 41% inhabitants of the Europe have thought, that the E.U. should have LESS powers than it already has, and another 23% of the cake think, that the E.U. powers should remain as they are - i.e. 64% of the E.U. member states citizens positively don't wish anything like the proposed Lisbon Treaty (-a new treaty almost completely based on the text of late "euroconstitution", refused in referendum in France and Netherlands - but of course: the pro-E.U. politicians fraudulently keep saying it is not true).
- And there are in this regard much more obstinate nations, than Irish (who recently refused the many powers transfering Lisbon Treaty in the referendum). The list is led by Finnish, Austrians, Swedish and British. Irish in fact are far beyond them - much less sceptic.

Dr. Daniele Ganser is a popular swiss historian doing research about 9/11 for several years now. The swiss tv station U1 asked him several questions about the different theories of 9/11. Here is a small translated section of this interview - more from him to come, if wished...

There are some misspellings in the translation as it was done in a rush, but I guess you'll get the point anyway.

We made 911 truth signs with spanish on one side that said "la verdad ahora" and "911 truth now" on the other. We had extras so we gave them out to anyone who wanted them at the anti war rally on Saturday and they showed up everywhere within all the different groups. I doubt whether any tv station could get a clip of the rally without showing our signs!

The beautiful city of Amsterdam last weekend witnessed perhaps Europes first ever assemblage of 9/11 activists for a very special 2 day gathering.

Amongst the many dedicated and talented activists in attendance were Japanese MP Yukihisa Fujita and Italian MEP Giulietto Chiesa fresh from their meeting at the European Parliament in Brussels a few days prior. Other notable attendee's included Icelandic writer and scholar Elias+Davidsson, Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Copenhagen Niels Harrit and international war law expert and founder of The Campaign to Make War History Mr Chris Coverdale.

As well as introductions and reports from each country represented; future strategies, tactics and methods were discussed and debated.

Saturday evening saw the first preview of Dean Pucketts trailer for his forthcoming film 'The Elephant in the Room' shortly followed by a screening of Italian film 'Zero'.

Sunday morning featured a presentation of WTC 7 evidence from Professor Niels Harrit followed in the afternoon by a presentation and discussion of war law by Chris Coverdale which ran parallel with a workshop on grassroots activism.

Countries represented; France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Iceland, Sweden, Ireland, Denmark, Belgium, Scotland & England.

Just over 24 hours ago 2 members of We Are Change UK scaled a crane near Parliament Square, London, and unfurled banners reading 'Referendum' and 'Give us our vote' - references to the Labour Government failure to honour their manifesto promise of a referendum on the European Constitution.

Plans are well on the way to integrating Britain into an imperial, militarized, neo-liberal European superstate and the general public are not being allowed any say in the matter. The problem is furthered due to poor media coverage leaving very few people aware of what is actually occurring.

The debate in parliament to ratify this treaty and for it to become British law started on Monday 21 January 2008. There is a 3 line whip for Labour MP's to vote in favour of the treaty and failure to do so could mean expulsion from the party.

An article about Sibel Edmonds and the film, Kill the Messenger, appeared today on the French version of Yahoo news:

The article says that the film will air tonight (Thursday, Sept. 20) on RTBF1 in Belgium at 21h55. Although the film aired last year in France and in Belgium, most folks have still never heard of her. Tonight, the people of Belgium, Luxembourg & northern France will have another opportunity to learn about her story. The article tells about how Sibel was treated after she blew the whistle on what she saw happening at the FBI. It also mentions that, although she testified for the 911 Commission, her testimony was not mentioned in their report.

Greetings to anyone who follows my blog here somewhat...

We've been quite busy this weekend! We spent about 6 hours demonstrating yesterday (Saturday 8 Sept.) in The Hague with a half dozen people. Easily more than 1,000 flyers were handed out, and probably close to 500 or more DVDs. Today we joined the European-wide march through Brussels, and have some preliminary video footage available for that as well.

Hey folks, it's finally time! Now we're not going to have a huge demonstration or protest, but there are around a dozen of us heading to The Hague tomorrow afternoon (Saturday, September 8 at 12:00 noon). This is the last call for anyone else out there who is in the area and wants to come help. The Hague is just 45 minutes from Amsterdam, Utrecht, and a half hour from Rotterdam. Anyone in the area should really hop on a train and join up with us if at all possible. We have permission from the police in writing, so there are absolutely no worries about anything going wrong. On the night of September 1st in northern Spain’s port city of Santander, I, Gregory William Grisham Vento, U.S. and Spanish citizen, was peacefully exercising my right and duty of freedom of expression, with a large overhead protest sign, when I was arbitrarily and brutally arrested by several municipal police which spontaneously provoked a brief riot.

I am 47 years old, father of two and work and contribute to society like any other good citizen. I had affixed the sign to a post in a very popular square full of TGIF revellers. The public was generally very interested, delighted to talk to me and took turns taking pictures of their friends and loved ones under the sign. We've had an excellent reaction to the story I posted here on 911blogger 2 weeks ago, and we've now got plans for 9/8, 9/9, and 9/11.

I will speak with city officials in The Hague early next week, and give a notification of demonstration to the police. On 9/8 at 12:00 noon we will be in the center city (I don't know where, I have to ask the police first) to do our demonstration. If you want to come along, please let me know soon. Myself and two friends doing 9/11 activism in the Netherlands were kicked off of the streets in The Hague, the capital city of the United Nations and the seat of parliament in the Netherlands. We had done a trial run on 8/11 in a smaller town called Leiden, which is just 10 miles outside of The Hague and that went well. We passed out a handful of flyers and had some good discussions, as well as numerous strange looks. Today, however, we didn't have so much luck.

A demonstration and public march is planned to demand an independent international commission to investigate the events of 9/11.

French Minister Christine Boutin -- and before her Andreas von Buelow and Michael Meacher -- have made their statements regarding the attacks.

About the rally

9/9 UNITED FOR TRUTH will be the first major protest rally in Europe uniting various movements and linking various issues like, poverty, free press, disappearance of democracy, the lack of investigation to the 9/11 - 7/7 - 3/11 attacks, monetary reform, war on terror...
