PETER'S NEW YORK, May 12, 2012--I recently procured a volume entitled "Modern Chemical Discoveries" by Richard Clements (1954, E.P. Dutton, 290 pgs.). It describes the advent of many new industrial processes at the time, and explains the manner in which they operate. It is a book targeted to the educated layman.

In a chapter entitled "Some metals and their compounds," it describes what we generally know as thermite, the nature of the chemical reaction associated with it, and its effects (p117-118).

"A mixture of aluminum powder heated with the oxide of another metal gives a violent chemical reaction. The aluminum is converted into oxide while the other metal is left in the metallic state. The action is so violent in some cases, copper oxide, for example, that a kind of explosion occurs and part of the metal is volatilized. Chromium is obtained in this way in a pure state, as also manganese which previously had been known only in combination with carbon or iron.

I have uploaded to YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvw0_i1rGns) an analysis of the acceleration of a projectile that races ahead of the surrounding falling debris. I had discussed this object before but due to the difficulty caused by a moving camera I had not previously measured the motion directly.

The object (apparently a perimeter wall unit) raced ahead of its neighboring debris, but its acceleration was about 1/3 of gravity. This is an indication that it was kicked downward initially by an explosion, after which the air resistance partially canceled the effect of gravity as it approached terminal velocity. As it fell, however, there was an outburst of white smoke, at which point the projectile changed directions, slightly, and accelerated downward for about a half second at 1.5 times gravity. It then fell back to continued acceleration a little under 1 g.

The acceleration of the projectile is unambiguous proof that very energetic material was applied to the wall unit. What I found particularly surprising is that the ignition of the material in an unconfined space where it was free to expand three dimensionally would provide sufficient thrust due to expanding gasses alone to cause what was probably a 4-ton wall unit to accelerate 50% faster than gravity. The fact that the unit continued to accelerate close to freefall thereafter is an indication of an ongoing thrust capable of largely canceling the effect of air resistance.

On September 11, 2010 I went with the idea of "think globally, act locally" and took my bike (equipped with home-made 9/11 truth signs) to a bicycle and walking tour in Hartford, CT. Thousands of people showed up to the event, and it was a lot of fun by itself but was also a good opportunity for activism. Engineer Wayne Coste was there as well with a booth set up for Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. I had a great time talking to people about 9/11 and introducing them to the idea that the World Trade Center was blown up with explosives.

Some people I talked to had heard rumors and wanted to know more, some people agreed with me and were very supportive, some people seemed utterly shocked by the idea, and a couple people totally disagreed but even they engaged me in civil discourse and seemed to at least consider the idea. After the bike tour, I walked around downtown with my bike handing out the rest of my flyers. At one point, a woman ran off a bus just to ask me for a flyer and then ran back on before the bus left. That was probably the highlight for me. The logistics of carrying a bike and a video camera and handing out flyers with only two hands just wasn't working out. So I put the camera away and enjoyed the bike ride and talked to people without intimidating them by putting them on video. But I still wanted something worth uploading so I put together a montage of WTC demolition clips for people to ponder. I ended with a press conference given by Richard Gage in Washington DC just 3 days prior. I quote him talking about nano-thermite and Building 7 which I consider to be the two keys to proving beyond any doubt the explosive demolition of the WTC.

I took the video with the audible detonations and ran it through an audio editor as the audio was very low and only worked in the right channel (speaker) and had no left channel audio. I raised the audio and changed the stereo output to mono so that the audio can be heard in both speakers.

Although virtually all of the structural steel from the Twin Towers and Building 7 was removed and destroyed, preventing forensic analysis, FEMA's volunteer investigators did manage to perform "limited metallurgical examination" of some of the steel before it was recycled. Their observations, including numerous micrographs, are recorded in Appendix C of the WTC Building Performance Study. Prior to the release of FEMA's report, a fire protection engineer and two science professors published a brief report in JOM disclosing some of this evidence. 1

The results of the examination are striking. They reveal a phenomenon never before observed in building fires: eutectic reactions, which caused "intergranular melting capable of turning a solid steel girder into Swiss cheese." The New York Times described this as "perhaps the deepest mystery uncovered in the investigation." 2 WPI provides a graphic summary of the phenomenon.

Washington - Remains of victims have been discovered in the rubble of the World Trade Center nearly nine years after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks:

Seventy-two bone fragments were found in about two dump trucks of debris that had yet to be sifted by forensics experts, US television's ABC News reported Tuesday, citing the New York Medical Examiner's Office.

The office said DNA testing was likely to identify some of the remains, given the size and condition of the bone fragments. About 1,000 people of the nearly 3,000 victims of the suicide plane hijackings that brought down the two towers of the World Trade Center have yet to be identified.The experts sifted through 645 cubic metres of debris over three months to find the remains. The debris was the last from the World Trade Center that had yet to combed.

Craig Bartmer, an NYPD officer who was present at the destruction of World Trade Center Building 7, testifies that he heard a series of explosions, "Thum, thum, thum, thum, thum" preceding the fall of the building. At the same time a TV interview is being conducted down the street, far from the building. The microphone picks up the same series of sharp, percussive sounds, confirming Bartmer's description. NIST artificially ruled out all such testimony by setting up a hypothetical loudness threshold for sounds it considered to be capable of destroying columns in the building.  The video goes on to question NIST's computed loudness threshold below which they would not investigate explosions.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has had considerable difficulty determining a politically correct sequence of events for the unprecedented destruction of three World Trade Center (WTC) buildings on 9/11. But despite a number of variations in NIST’s story, it never considered explosives or pyrotechnic materials in any of its hypotheses. This omission is at odds with several other striking facts; first, the requirement of the national standard for fire investigation (NFPA 921), which calls for testing related to thermite and other pyrotechnics, and second, the extensive experience NIST investigators have with explosive and thermite materials.

A close-up view of debris being ejected from the South Tower of the World Trade Center as the 30-floor top section falls to the east shows numerous smoking projectiles that look like comets. Several of them can be seen to explode. One such exploding projectile is followed here. It ejects two fragments, both of which undergo secondary explosions. (Note, the rising fragment to the left of the projectile under consideration appears to be a tumbling object that alternates from black to white to invisible. It passes behind one of the fragments described in the video.)

The Fox TV (KMPH) affiliate in Fresno asked the kind of questions the Truth Movement has been waiting for. True or false? I don't know, but interesting.

Maybe I am repeating myself - But for possible newcomers to this website I feel this is one of the most obvious evidence that the official story of 9/11 is false - and I feel it is worth repeating.

The official account of what happened to the Twin Towers is that they "collapsed" because of weakened steel. But after watching these three videos available on YouTube and VideoGoogle it is absolutely clear to me that gravity alone not possibly could have pulverized these massive buildings!

Note the ENORMOUS mushroom-shaped-dust-cloud throwing hundreds of thousand tons of massive steel beams and concrete - several hundred meters outwards as it explodes from top to bottom with ENORMOUS force!

6 years to build - 12 seconds to destroy

When the World Trade Center towers were demolished they took the path of most resistance - straight down. Trough their own concrete and steel structures - in approximately 12 seconds.

You can time it yourself with the clock in the bottom of the screen.

Note the way hundreds of thousand tons of concrete and massive steel beams are being thrown like confetti more than 100 meters to the sides and up in an arch away from the tower, as it evidently explodes!

Anybody know about blasting caps or detonators that self-destruct?

The triumphant statement by a " demolition expert" on the History Channel that he saw no detonation cord, wiring or remnants of blasting caps at Ground Zero has given courage to OCT supporters.

This has come up in a long-running debate I'm running on an industry forum. The latest rejoinder I got was this

"you have not produced one blasting cap, nor one piece of wiring"

What I could find on the Web on the subject was all about detection of

A. detonators before they explode, or
B. explosives by means of chemical taggants after the blast

but nothing about detecting remnants of detonators post-blast (except that "stealth explosives" has been used as a term of ridicule for the controlled demolition argument.)

Re A, I found this: "Plastic weapons, plastic detonators, explosives enclosed into plastic cases and plastic mines are very difficult to detect."

I am beginning to suspect that the problem of detectability might actually be the other way around.

A recent story about Tenet's new book by Robert Parry returned my attention to the contents of the August 6, 2001 Presidential Daily Brief (PDB). Parry seems to be arguing for criminal negligence, but he quotes the end of the August 6 PBD:

"The PDB ended by noting that “FBI information … indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York. Las Vegas' Stardust casino imploded

From Stardust to just dust. The Las Vegas Strip's first mass-market casino-hotel was imploded early Tuesday in a hail of fireworks to make way for Boyd Gaming Corp.'s $4.4 billion megaresort Echelon.

Hundreds of people partied beneath tents and on makeshift patios before Boyd chairman Bill Boyd's four grandsons pushed a plunger to detonate the former Stardust casino. The blast generated a massive dust cloud that chased the revelers into cars, buses and nearby casinos.

"It hurts. We cried," said Sheila Navarro, 51, a school supplies buyer from Oxnard, Calif., who took shelter in the nearby Frontier casino-hotel. She came with three sisters, her mother, an aunt and a brother-in-law to say farewell to the casino she's gambled at for more than 30 years.

"It's very hard for me to find another casino to go to," she said. "Maybe in two years, three years, I'll have different feelings, but right now, my heart is broken."

On 9/12/2001, Peter Jennings interviews Marlene Cruz, a carpenter injured in one of the pre-collapse explosions in the WTC sub-basement level B long before the planes hit the towers. The first casualty of 9/11 admitted at Bellevue Hospital, Cruz is a living witness who proves that pre-planted explosives were used to weaken the foundations.

Twin Towers Engineered To Withstand Jet Collision

Engineers had to consider every peril they could imagine when they designed the World Trade Center three decades ago because, at the time, the twin towers were of unprecedented size for structures made of steel and glass.

"We looked at every possible thing we could think of that could happen to the buildings, even to the extent of an airplane hitting the side," said John Skilling, head structural engineer. "However, back in those days people didn't think about terrorists very much."

Skilling, based in Seattle, is among the world's top structural engineers. He is responsible for much of Seattle's downtown skyline and for several of the world's tallest structures, including the Trade Center.

By now we all know that the buildings collapsed because of explosives. The question we have to ask is how they managed to place all the explosives
without someone notice?
It probably took place a lot of work during the power-out.

"One of the towers had a major elevator that went all the way up to the top
that was malfunctioning, and had been malfunktioning for at least a month.
They have been having a lot of trouble with that"

If the elevator that went all the way to the top was not used for a mounth, it gave them alot of time to place explosives to the core !!??

Watch this video.

Near the top floor, you see a guy waving a white shirt (at least it looks like this). He's in the upper right corner of the building that's facing the camera, just below the dark area, and just at the top of the uniformly gray part of the building. Just when WTC2 is hit, the pigeon in the foreground flies away. Right at that moment, a bunch of things happen.

You are looking at the North face of WTC1.

a) That little red flame on the right side of the West Face of WTC1 explodes out, then returns to "normal."

b) There is an explosion, a puff of smoke, that bursts out the window of the guy waving his shirt. After that, he is no longer waving his shirt.

c) There are multiple puffs of smoke that shoot out of the North face of WTC1, on many floors between the plane's hole and the top of the building.

d) Right after the fireball (and camera shake) it looks like 2 people jump out of the lower floors of the smoking region of the West face of WTC1. This is just above and to the right of that little red flame.

While the "booms" are occurring, bystanders begin pointing and looking in the direction of the North Tower. One bystander can be heard saying "Oh my God!". A few seconds after that another explosion can be heard, and the person being interviewed, Stephen Evans, covers his ears in a fright and turns around to see the North Tower begin to fall.
