fatigue
911 fatigue
fatigue--from Wikipeadia's entry on combat stress reaction:
"The most common symptom is fatigue: slower reaction times, indesicion, disconnection form ones surroundings and an inability to prioritize."
So how many of us feel fatigued by 911activism? How many felt fatigued BEFORE 911activism?
While it's true doing something you believe in gives you energy, doing anything long enough with little or slow returns WILL exhaust the hardiest of souls. We need to remember this to keep healthy, whole and sane, because it is not likely to get easier any time soon:
Eat good food, but allow a few comfort foods--as long as they aren't the basis of your diet, don't beat youreslf up about it!
Excersise--even if it's getting up and walking around the block--there's a lot of physical energy in this fight that can get locked up if the body is too sedentary
Get enough sleep--your body(and brain) do most of their recovery while your consciousness is "down".
