Republican Senator Calls Cops on 9-11 Responders

9-11 first reponders

World911Truth.org | Dec. 16, 2010

WASHINGTON - Republican senators were so worried about meeting with 9-11 responders who came here Thursday that at least one called the cops on them, the Daily News has learned.

Even before the nine responders had a chance to start visiting senators' offices - where they intended to stay until meeting with lawmakers - they were greeted by Capitol Police, who had been called by Sen. Susan Collins (R-Me.).

Collins apparently reacted to a story in Thursday's News, which quoted a letter to senators from 9/11 advocate John Feal. It warned that he and others planned to sit in offices until they got meetings - or the police made them leave.

House Passes 9/11 Health Care Bill

The House on Wednesday approved legislation to provide billions of dollars for medical treatment to rescue workers and residents of New York City who suffered illnesses from breathing in toxic fumes, dust and smoke at ground zero.

The vote was 268 to 160, with 13 Republicans joining Democrats in support of the bill. Republicans raised concerns about the $7.4 billion cost of the program.

Essay by John Bursill

So why should we believe that “9/11 Truth” can stop the war in Afghanistan and bring the “War on Terrorism” to an end?

9/11 Truth for Peace Protest 2008

I will lay out below the non-conspiratorial reasons why it is vitally important that we continue to demand accountability from our governments, on why it is they went to war on our behalf in 2001. I will also argue why I am correct to strongly assert that the pursuit of 9/11 truth and a criminal investigation of those events is the only practical path to peace today.

Ground Zero workers settlement unfair: judge

Ground Zero workers settlement unfair: judge
By Agence France-Presse
Friday, March 19th, 2010 -- 6:11 pm

NEW YORK (AFP) – A proposed 657-million-dollar health settlement for some 10,000 people who worked at Ground Zero after the September 11 attacks was too low and must be renegotiated, a judge ruled Friday.

"In my judgment, this settlement is not enough," federal Judge Alvin Hellerstein said in New York after hearing two hours of testimony from plaintiffs in the huge case.

"There are some questions that have to be addressed," he added, calling for "additional negotiations to come up with a fair deal."

"So many heroes from 9/11/01 who risked their lives without prejudice, and are now gravely ill from their heroic actions have been financially ruined while trying to fight their 9/11 related illnesses and gain the benefits they so desperately deserve. These men & woman simply can not afford toys & presents for their children. A Tribute To John Feal

Yesterday, John Feal, along with several other 9/11 First Responders went down to Washington D.C. to attend the hearing on the James Zadroga 9/11 Health And Compensation Act. From what I understand, he was singled out by the Congressmen, and applauded for his efforts. I want to say congratulations John. Just to give people an idea of how much you've fought for the responders, here's a little tribute to you (that barely covers your fight). Thank you for doing the right thing. I am very proud to say that you are my friend.

The EPA is a “bunch of brainiacs and bookworms who just look at numbers but don’t look at people’s pain,” said John Feal, a construction worker who lost half a foot in an accident while working in “the pit” at Ground Zero. “The people [downtown] and in Brooklyn pay taxes and deserve to know their tax money is going to protect their health.”

Local 9/11 advocacy group to spur Congress with documentary
By Jennifer Choi
August 21, 2008 | 12:22 PM

Nesconset resident John Feal's 9/11 advocacy group has made it their job to fight for sick 9/11 responders. Now they're carrying their mission to the big screen with a documentary titled "Save the Brave."

Feal, who founded the FealGood Foundation to spread awareness about the catastrophic health effects faced by 9/11 first responders, has produced a documentary to advocate the passage of the federal 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, which would provide medical coverage and financial compensation for responders who have been exposed to toxins at Ground Zero and their families.

2008 WE REMEMBER WALKS

To: All September 11 Family Members, Survivors, Responders & Volunteers

From: Rev. Bill Minson, TUDAY Ministries 310.403.0400/917.826.7255

All 9/11 family members have received an unprecedented tribute in the documentary SAVE THE BRAVE, produced by the Fealgood Foundation to urge Congress to immediately pass the James Zadroga 9/11 Health & Compensation Bill stalled in Congress as responders suffer and die.

I join the Fealgood Foundation in thanking Rosemary Cain, Bruce DeCell and Monica Iken for appearing in SAVE THE BRAVE on behalf of the 9/11 families, imploring Congress to take immediate action regarding what Congressman Jerrold Nadler calls, "a moral outrage". September will forever begin a season of healing for our nation, rocked by the September 11 attacks. I am thankful to GOD to have fulfilled a promise to stand with you for five years following the attacks as you healed.

Proceeds From Franklin Pierce University Talent Show to Benefit the FealGood Foundation

Student Scholars Member, Eric Jackman, is heading the organization of a talent show at the end of the semester. A significant amount of the proceeds will benefit the FealGood Foundation...

Despite setbacks, organizers have high hopes for FP Talent Show

by Arikka Knights

Auditions for the FP Talent Show were scheduled to take place this weekend, however were postponed until the end of the month.

Despite the postponements, plans surrounding the annual charity talent show are progressing with heighten excitement. This is the first year the Pierce Activities Council (formerly Campus Activities Board) has not been the main contributor to the funding and organization of the event. However, the Student Government Association (SGA) and several individuals have dedicated themselves to coordinate another spectacular event which fills the fieldhouse every spring.

The Pierce Arrow's Coverage of the North East Premiere of Loose Change Final Cut

Note: The Pierce Arrow is the student run newspaper at Franklin Pierce University.

Sorry for not posting this sooner. here is an article written by Franklin Pierce University's new Grad-assistant, Josh Bond. The article is about the North East Premiere of Loose Change Final Cut at the Colonial Theatre in Keene, NH. The event was sponsored by Student Scholars for 9/11 Truth and the Monadnock 9/11 Truth Alliance. We were able to raise $1,000 dollars to donate to the 9/11 First Responders, many of which are very sick and are not being taken care of. Bond is a maverick, and I appreciate his support for what myself and the other members of Student Scholars for 9/11 Truth have been trying to do...

I do find it funny, however, that the Pierce Arrow titled the article "Documentary Premiers in Keene," instead of "9/11 Documentary Premiers in Keene," or "Loose Change Final Cut Premiers in Keene." Just a thought...

Students seek aid for 9/11 workers

Friday, December 14, 2007

MONROE TWP. Since 9/11, many first-responders have had to fight for medical benefits and workman's compensation for the injuries and illnesses they suffered, and a local group of fifth-graders have joined in with them.

The students of Doris Freeman's fifth-grade class are raising awareness of the rescue workers' plight and encouraging people to contribute to their cause.

"We researched how many first responders are now suffering from lung and kidney conditions and how the government often refused to help them," said fifth-grader Gianna Massi.

"We're trying to get people to realize this and to make donations to the Feal Good Foundation so they can be helped."
