Flight 93

A-10 Warthog Made the Shanksville Crater?

A-10 Warthog/Thunderbolt was flying very low over the crash site at exactly the moment the explosion, fireball occurred.

Susan Mcelwain - who lives two miles from the site, knows what she saw - the white plane rocketed directly over her head. "It came right over me, I reckon just 40 or 50ft above my mini-van," she recalled. "It was so low I ducked instinctively. It was traveling real fast, but hardly made any sound. "Then it disappeared behind some trees. A few seconds later I heard this great explosion and saw this fireball rise up over the trees, so I figured the jet had crashed. The ground really shook. So I dialed 911 and told them what happened. "I'd heard nothing about the other attacks and it was only when I got home and saw the TV that I realized it wasn't the white jet, but Flight 93. I didn't think much more about it until the authorities started to say there had been no other plane. The plane I saw was heading right to the point where Flight 93 crashed and must have been there at the very moment it came down.

Victims' families decry donation box

BY DANIEL LOVERING, Associated Press

Article Last Updated:06/05/2007 08:59:10 PM PDT

PITTSBURGH - A man who owns property at the site where Flight 93 crashed on Sept. 11, 2001, has demanded millions for his portion of land where a memorial is planned, and he has installed a donation box to help pay for security.

The actions by Mike Svonavec have angered victims' families, who believe he is overcharging and disagree with the need for a donation box.

"That land has been paid for with 40 lives. ... The donation box is an insult to that cost," said Patrick White, vice president for Families of Flight 93.

Svonavec wants $10 million for his 273-acre property in Somerset County, far more per acre than paid for nearby land, White said Tuesday. He said Svonavec told him about his asking price last July and has rejected three offers from the group - the latest for more than $500,000.

"I think Svonavec believes his land, because it has the blood of my cousin and 39 other people, it's worth more," he said.

Wreckage from Flight 93 Under Armed Guard?

[GW's comment: This reminds me of the way that the steel from the World Trade Center was tracked with GPS and put under VERY tight security to make sure it got hauled off to China before anyone could test it. What are they hiding?]

PrisonPlanet has the following story from a clip from KOMO 4 News:

Flight 93 Wreckage Under Armed Guard Buried Deep Inside Iron Mountain

KOMO 4 News

This local news report discusses secret records, files and material that is buried deep underground at a facility called Iron Mountain in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania - including the wreckage of Flight 93 which is now under armed guard.

Robin Hordon and David Ray Griffin on Carol Brouillet's show Monday

Robin Hordon and David Ray Griffin appeared on Carol Brouillet's show last night. Griffin was on air for just a few minutes, plugging his new book; most of the show was Hordon's. For those who are not familiar with Robin Hordon, he is an ex-pilot and ex-flight controller (fired when he went on strike during the Reagan years). Robin Hordon is very level-headed and it seems to me he brings a number of valid points to the debate. He explains in detail how the scramble protocols used to work, how they were changed in June 2001 and exactly what effect it had on the morning of 9-11. He also discusses what the FAA would normally do in the case of a hijacking, and what they were doing on 9-11.

Hordon also discusses the wargames, and how they would affect procedures that day (according to Hordon, they wouldn't). Plenty of other interesting stuff from a guy who knows first-hand how air traffic control works.

The show is already available as a podcast:

Rare Flight 93 footage

Many of you have probably already seen this, but this is rare news footage of flight 93, where the news station clearly talks about the 3-4 mile debris field.

New high quality Shanksville crater footage

This footage was taken from the 9/11 archive. It shows the crater supposedly created by Flight 93. Again i urge everyone to archive the high quality XVID's.

The Many Misquotes of Wallace Miller

Wallace Miller is the coroner of Somerset County, Pennsylvania. He was among the first people to arrive at the alleged Flight 93 crash site on the morning of 9/11.

He later recounted to the Washington Post what he'd seen when he first got there: "I stopped being coroner after about 20 minutes, because there were no bodies there. It became like a giant funeral service." (Peter Perl, "Hallowed Ground," Washington Post, 5/12/2002)

Since there were 44 people on board Flight 93, a crash site with "no bodies" makes no sense. Where were the victims? Something appears to have been seriously wrong.

Pilot Claims He Heard Hijacking of UA93 on His Plane's Radio

This guy claims he overheard the hijacking of UA93 on 9/11 over his plane's radio. WTF? Is that possible? Any pilots out there who can answer this?

9/11 prompts pilot to become rescue volunteer

SILVERTHORNE (AP) - On 9/11, pilot Morgan Garvey was flying a client to St. Louis from the East Coast when he heard a strange transmission on the radio. A voice commanded everybody to stay in their seats, and that there was a bomb on board.

He would later discover he was hearing the sounds of terrorists taking control of United Flight 93 - one of four planes hijacked that morning as part of the deadliest terrorist attack ever on American soil.

Grounded in Nashville, Garvey walked into the flight base operations center just as the big screen television inside showed the second tower of the World Trade Center crumble....

Rumsfeld resigns

As predicted, the fall of a once powerful architect of war and the man who made 'shock and awe' a household phrase.

Loved by few but Republican diehards, but known for his occasional insightful slips of the tongue, could 'Rummy' feel the need to
set the record straight and thereby become the superwhistleblower whose confessional tendencies will bring the house of Bush-Cheney tumbling?

Go on, Donald, we're listening. Tell us how it was for you.

RE: What is it that went wrong (at WTC 7)?

In regards to the post, what is it that went wrong, I have an idea I'd like to float by the community.

I have a feeling something went quite wrong on that day, ie not according to plan. I dont mean Shanksville and all that, but WTC7. I mean, it cant have been part of a master plan to bring it down as obvious as it was done, i think. So, what should have happend? Another plane? Hm, i dont think so. What else ? Im sure people here have a few ideas to offer.

For many years I've heard people speculate as to where Flight 93 was headed. People would say that it was headed for Camp David, The White House, or even The Statue of Liberty, oh my! To that, I would always reply, "what if it was headed towards WTC 7?" That's the point that people would flip-out. Should I go on? I will.

The military says the plane wasn't shot down. Truthers say the plane didn't crash in Shanksville. When a group is very adamant about a view, I tend to believe them. When two groups are so adamant about seemingly opposing views, I'll try to look for a third view that fits the story. So, if the plane didn't crash, and if it wasn't shot down, then what happened? The mission was aborted. The flight took off late, and it would be gross negligence if that plane hit its intended target (its target being WTC 7). In fact, the 9/11 Commission almost indicted military officials because the current story doesn't add up. If another plane would've hit another building in New York an hour later, and the military didn't stop it, the story would not have held as long as it has. It would turn the story from the military responding slowly, to the military standing down.

United 93 movie redubbed

Check out this redub of the title intro of Greengrass' United 93 docudrama which illustrates the coverup that is the official 911 story. Warning: the humour is rather poor.

How Did Human Remains End Up Miles From Flight 93's Crash Site?

What Really Happened has a round up of evidence backing the theory that Flight 93 was shot down on 9/11 (see original for links and photos).

"Finding the flight data recorder had been the focus of investigators as they widened their search area today following the discoveries of more debris, including what appeared to be human remains, miles from the point of impact at a reclaimed coal mine." [Pittsburgh Post Gazette, 09/13/01]

Have a good think about the above.

Are we supposed to believe that hijackers armed with only box cutters forced an angry mob to jump from the plane seconds before the crash? Or are we supposed to believe that people simply felt compelled to jump from the plane? If the official story is true then people jumping from the plane is the only way human remains could have been found miles from Flight 93's crash site.

A more logical explanation is that people inside the plane were sucked out because of a sudden depressurisation.
[R]elatives of Flight 93 passengers who heard the cockpit tape April 18 at a Princeton hotel said government officials laid out a timetable for the crash in a briefing and in a transcript that accompanied the recording. Relatives later reported they heard sounds of an on-board struggle beginning at 9:58 a.m., but there was a final "rushing sound" at 10:03, and the tape fell silent. Flight 93 Sonic Boom?

Just wanted to get some thoughts about this writeup:

Seismic Event: The Final Moments of Flight 93

FLIGHT 93'S SMOKING GUN

an investigative article by Robb Magley
(Mr. Magley is not affiliated with Flight93Crash.com but has allowed my to reproduce his article here)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Truth, mused Tolstoy, is like gold, in that it is obtained by washing away from it all that is not gold.

Sadly, there seems to be less gold in the official story of United Airlines Flight 93 than we would like to think.

The relatively obscure field which considers the seismology of supersonic aircraft has produced something of a smoking gun in the mystery surrounding Flight 93's final moments. Evidence from the seismic record indicates there was at least one supersonic warplane within striking distance of Flight 93 on the fateful morning of September 11, 2001. A signal exhibiting the seismic signature characteristic of a passing sonic boom was recorded at 9:22 A.M. local time by an earthquake monitoring station in southern Pennsylvania. This station is just 60 miles from the abandoned stripmine in Somerset County where the Boeing 757-200 hit the earth at 10:06.

Flight 93 'was shot down' claims book

Flight 93 'was shot down' claims book - UK Daily Mail

"Twelve eyewitnesses state seeing another jet nearby."

"They claim they saw an F-16 move closer in and fire what were probably two Sidewinder missiles, one of them catching at least one of the Boeing’s huge engines, after which the ‘plane dropped like a stone’."

"Someone else ‘heard a loud bang’ and saw the airliner plummet. A Vietnam War veteran said he ‘heard a missile’, a sound he knew well... there are numerous and highly credible witness accounts of a mysterious white jet being seen after Flight 93 went down."

"Jim Brant, owner of the Indian Lake marina where debris was found, said he heard the roar of jet engines overhead, then saw a fireball rise into the air. He looked up and noticed a white plane circling the wreckage. ‘It reminded me of a fighter jet,’ he said."

NTSB Data Dissected : Flight 93 was shot down!

Hi,

If you look at the graphs provided by the NTSB from Flight 93s FDR, you will notice that at the purported crash time, the altitude is a MINIMUM of 2000ft.

Next thing we need to do is figure out what happened in the next 3 minutes? All bets are on it being shot down.

ALSO, can someone look at the graph and confirm I am reading it correctly?

Thanks!
Blogger Joe

Check page 20
Altitude graph goes from 0 to 40000 feet
Its ends a few millimeters above the x-axis.
This turns out to correspond to 2000 ft when you check the legend.
