Fox host: 9/11 truthers are 'mentally ill'

When the New York Times explored the political beliefs of Daniel Sunjata, an actor on the FX network's show "Rescue Me," it was under the banner of a "sinister theory."

The "sinister theory" that a group of neoconservative politicians may have colluded to allow, or bring about, the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

On Thursday's Fox and Friends, Greg Gutfield, provocative host of Fox's late night program Red Eye, called individuals like Sunjata, who question the events of 9/11, "mentally ill."

NEW YORK Three years after her difficult departure from The New York Times, Judith Miller says she still misses some of the people she worked with and the "excitement of the newsroom." She also says the Times remains "indispensable."

But in today's difficult economic atmosphere, she is glad to be out of the newspaper game at a time when cutbacks and shorter stories are the norm. "The Times has been so gloomy, they have gotten rid of the Metro section," Miller said Monday in a cell phone interview. "It is a very challenging time for our business. Look at the disappearance of The [New York] Sun - it was a very useful addition, whatever you thought of their politics."

Miller, who left the paper in 2005 after 28 years, spoke as word spread of her latest new job, as a commentator for Fox News. Miller said she will be on air and on the Web site part-time discussing First Amendment and free speech issues, as well as foreign policy and national security.

There's little news value to this, I know. But, honestly, f*ck Fox News.

9/11 conspiracy theorists dog TV reporters

Local 9/11 conspiracy theorists are targeting TV news reporters, already leading to at least one confrontation with a FOX 25 reporter who grabbed a poster in an incident caught on camera and posted on YouTube.

“We will be protesting as the presidential election gets heated,” said Mark O’Connor of the group Boston 9/11 Truth. “No newscaster is safe if they’re live on the street.”

FOX 25 political editor Joe Battenfeld has had run-ins with members of the so-called 9/11 truth groups - who claim the terror attacks were a government setup - in Boston and New Hampshire.

NEW YORK - Media activist Alex Jones was arrested by New York Police Department officers while filming a documentary about the sixth anniversary of September 11th and joining the protest against the official version of what happened on 9/11.

According to Infowars sources Jones was singled out by police from the head of a crowd of about 400 9/11 Truth Activists and protesters. He was verbally accosted and forced by the police officers to present identification which he was not carrying at the time.

NYPD officers arrested Jones for "unspecified charges" and removed from the protest crowd to be taken to the nearest police precinct where he currently remains.

Rob Jacobson, camera operator on Jones' documentary production crew indicated that a large portion of the protest crowd has moved to the precinct where Jones is being held to ensure his fair treatment and safe release.

Most of us aren't fooled anymore, realizing that the criminal cabal in Washington drags out their boogeyman with another fake "message" whenever they feel need to instill fear in the citizenry. The recent reports of a new bin Laden message are almost comical at this point, were it not for the overall seriousness of the matter. Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.

"The Coalition troops are engaged in a mad search operation but they would never be able to fulfill their cherished goal of getting Usama alive or dead," the source said.

It should come as no surprise that Fox News has come to the support of Stu Bykofsky and his article, which essentially calls for another 9/11 attack in order to justify Bush's policies and unite Americans.
