Billy Jack

Tom Laughlin, who played the character "Billy Jack" in several movies, is pro-impeach Bush and other pro-American issues. (he has run for office, unsuccessfully) I just sent an email to him encouraging him to look into and support "9/11 Truth and Justice". Check out his website and send him a similar email. He may or may not know about "9/11 Truth", but he may eventually add his name to the growing list of pro people.

Bush "Scumbags Up" Again

Regarding Bush's recent comments that yet again refer to 9/11 as well as the possibility that another 9/11 event could occur if we do not continue with our war actions in Iraq. " Bush: 'Iraq withdrawal may spark 9/11 repeat' "

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/03/20/wirq20.xml

Since things aren't going well for pResident Governor George Bush and his administration (in many ways), it was time, yet again, to call on the 9/11 scare tactics that have served them so well these last many years. Bush has no honor, no integrity, no conscience, no intelligence, no ethics or morals, and no honesty. And Dick Cheney is worse. (fyi: Karl Rove just might be the anti-christ)

Both Bush and Cheney need to be impeached as soon as possible. (for Crimes Against Humanity and Treason Against the United States of America)

Bush Invokes 9/11 To Justify Staying In Iraq

Source: whitehouse.gov

He started off his speech with this...

"4 years ago today, coalition forces launched Operation Iraqi Freedom to remove Saddam Hussein from power. They did so to eliminate the threat his regime posed to the Middle East, and to the world."

Saddam Hussein posed no threat. He must not have been told.

Here he is playing the 9/11 Card.

"It can be tempting to look at the challenges in Iraq and conclude our best option is to pack up and go home. That may be satisfying in the short run, but I believe the consequences for American security would be devastating. If American forces were to step back from Baghdad before it is more secure, a contagion of violence could spill out across the entire country. In time, this violence could engulf the region. The terrorists could emerge from the chaos with a safe haven in Iraq to replace the one they had in Afghanistan, which they used to plan the attacks of September the 11th, 2001. For the safety of the American people, we cannot allow this to happen."

HILL IN 9/11 'SHOP' CHOP AT W.

By STEPHANIE GASKELL, Post Correspondent

March 19, 2007 -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton last night used a celeb-studded Midtown fund-raiser to blast President Bush for telling New Yorkers to "go shopping" after 9/11.

Clinton, introduced at the event by ex-prez hubby Bill, said Bush should have played a bigger role as the nation - and New York, in particular - struggled to heal.

"What were we asked to do? Go shopping," she said. "I think America is ready to be asked to do something besides 'go shopping.'

"We are still waiting to be asked to play a part."

At a news conference a day after the terrorist attacks, Bush declared, "We cannot let the terrorists achieve the objective of frightening our nation to the point where we don't conduct business, where people don't shop."

Clinton raised more than $1 million last night at the Sheraton New York Hotel where participants included Ron Howard, Chevy Chase and Ron Perelman.

I'm always looking for something short and concise to pass along to others, in addition to using as teasers and such when showing full-length films on a variety of other subjects to others.

I just found this short video that was apparantly posted to google 2-21-2007. I thought that it packed an enormous amout of disturbing information into less than 20 minutes. It could be a good to to use with those whose attention spans have been severely impaired by the immediate gratification of television sound bites.

The Senate approved a sweeping bill Tuesday to implement many of the remaining recommendations of the 9/11 Commission and provide other security initiatives. Here is a look at some of the key provisions of the bill and how they could affect North Jersey communities.
What's in the bill

Tunnel improvements:Rail tunnels under the Hudson River that are nearly a century old would get upgrades including emergency escape stairwells from a $400 million provision added by Sen. Frank Lautenberg. Some 6,000 Bergen and Passaic county commuters use the tunnels on NJ Transit daily.

What Really Happened has an interesting round up about the Bush family's control of security at both the World Trade Center and Dulles airport on 9/11:

"Marvin P. Bush, the president’s younger brother, was a principal in a company called Securacom that provided security for the World Trade Center, United Airlines, and Dulles International Airport. The company, Burns noted, was backed by KuwAm, a Kuwaiti-American investment firm on whose board Marvin Burns also served. [Utne]

According to its present CEO, Barry McDaniel, the company had an ongoing contract to handle security at the World Trade Center "up to the day the buildings fell down."

9/11 Workers: Bush Health Upgrade Plan Inadequate

NEW YORK -- Sick 9/11 workers and residents gathered near ground zero before President Bush's speech on Wednesday to criticize as inadequate his proposal to spend an additional $25 million to fund a health care program.

About a dozen people rallied near the World Trade Center site about an hour before Bush delivered the economic speech at nearby Federal Hall.

Ceasar Borja Jr., who lost his father, a ground zero worker, last week was originally scheduled to attend the rally. But instead, he was preparing for a meeting with the president.

White House spokesman Tony Snow said Bush planned to meet privately after his speech with Borja; his mother, Eva; brother, Evan; and sister, Nhia.

"First responders who need treatment will get the treatment they need," Snow said earlier Wednesday. "Many are already covered by insurance programs, many through their union; but if there are gaps in that, we're going to do it."

Bush adds limited funding for 9/11 victims to federal budget

Bush's budget proposes adding 9/11 health funds

WASHINGTON: The Bush administration plans to keep funding health programs for sick ground zero workers, enough to keep the effort alive at least through 2007, New York lawmakers said Tuesday.

New York Rep. Vito Fossella, a Republican, said the administration next week will propose spending at least $25 million more to fund a Sept. 11-related health care program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan and a related effort for New York firefighters.

"It's a breakthrough," said Fossella. "For the first time in the federal budget there will be a down payment to provide for funding for continued treatment and monitoring for 9/11 responders who need our help."

Word of the new money comes a day before Bush is due to speak in New York City about the economy, and sick Sept. 11 workers plan a rally timed to the visit. It is also a week before Bush offers his budget proposal to the U.S. Congress.

Zawahiri mocks Bush in video message on Iraq, Somalia

Al-Qaeda's second-in-command, Ayman al-Zawahiri, defiantly mocked US President George W. Bush's plan to send extra troops to Iraq, saying he should send his entire army to be annihilated.
In an online video message, Osama bin Laden's deputy also accused the United States of being behind the deployment of Ethiopian troops in Somalia and vowed that Islamist forces would "break the back" of the Ethiopians.
"Don't you know that the dogs of Iraq are impatient to devour the carcasses of your soldiers?

Whacking the Pinata - A Citizen's Response to Bush's War Escalation Speech

I was sitting and watching Bush's speech (1/10/07) when I decided I had to respond and break it down point by point to show people exactly how wrong I think he is.

Not just wrong as in, "in error", wrong as in "morally disgusting", "sickeningly cruel", and "deliberately deceptive".

And he used the mythic events of 9/11 as the central compelling justification for all the resulting mayhem.

So I did my best to correct the record as I see it.
