Though I have paid little attention to it until now, Brian Ross' "Blotter" at ABC News is really beginning to look like a cipher for CIA leaks. He routinely makes tenuous links between otherwise unrelated events, and at every chance prints stories such as the one below, which cites "secret" sources who say another 9/11 is on the way. Normally, I would attribute stories like this to fear-mongering; however, given that Bush is a lame duck president, and given that an invasion of Iran must happen before the year of the election (2008), I take these oblique warnings very seriously. We must advocate aggressively this summer. This is Bush's last chance to stage another terror attack, and we know what a second 9/11 will do to the remnants of freedom in America.

Despite the Administration's rhetoric that they had "no warnings" leading up to 9/11, it has become abundantly clear that key Administration officials were made aware of a vast array of al Qaeda threats and warnings that existed in years prior, and more importantly, in the weeks leading up to September 11, 2001. Here not only the Administration, but also the 9/11 Commission, failed to connect the dots.
