The point of this blog is to help Edward, and others, discover that they are actually the ones “spitting in the face of American citizens who were truly affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks” through their deafening silence and blind faith in the U.S. Government and Mainstream Media. To clarify this point, let’s learn a little more about the families who lost loved ones that fateful September morning.

Yet, quite alarmingly, Republicans seem to be exhibiting just this sort of crisis of confidence in our Constitution's ability to prosecute these horrible men. Republicans argue that men like KSM are war criminals who can only be convicted in military commissions where they won't receive the protections of our laws. Republicans seem to lack a certain faith in our Constitution's ability and adaptability in meting out the demands of modern day justice.

So the once-brazen, chest-thumping Republicans who preemptively started a war in Iraq, claimed mission accomplished, and ordained that they wanted Osama Bin Laden's head on a platter, are now off crying in a corner lost in their own feigned anger and fear. Complaining that it will be too dangerous. Worried that it will make New York City a target.

I stumbled across this the other day here. I had never seen it before, so I assumed very few saw it. The embed functionality wasn't working, so I recorded it. This took place 10 days after the release of 9/11: Press For Truth.

In mid-June, F.B.I. director Robert Mueller III and several senior agents in the bureau received a group of about 20 visitors in a briefing room of the J. Edgar Hoover Building in Washington, D.C. The director himself narrated a PowerPoint presentation that summarized the numbers of agents and leads and evidence he and his people had collected in the 18-month course of their ongoing investigation of Penttbom, the clever neologism the bureau had invented to reduce the sites of devastation on 9/11 to one word: Pent for Pentagon, Pen for Pennsylvania, tt for the Twin Towers and bom for the four planes that the government had been forewarned could be used as weapons-even bombs-but chose to ignore.

After the formal meeting, senior agents in the room faced a grilling by Kristen Breitweiser, a 9/11 widow whose cohorts are three other widowed moms from New Jersey.

9/11 Change: Yes We Should!

Recently, our government excluded the 9/11 victims' families from attending the arraignment of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other terror suspects at the military tribunal at Guantanamo Bay. Initially, none of the families, with the exception of ardent Bush supporter Debra Burlingame, were invited.

After this issue became public, the resultant furor caused Debra Burlingame to be dis-invited and a system was established whereby the 9/11 victims' families could observe future sessions via CCTV coverage at various military bases on the east coast. In addition, a lottery system was established so that selected family members, who may want to attend the trial at Guantanamo Bay, will be provided an opportunity to participate.

(This is a 'rough cut' clip....We are currently working on the post production of the entire event which will be available on DVD and on the Web in the coming weeks.)

They knew about their colleague Guy Smith’s forthcoming 9.11 'Conspiracy Files' programme and asked me if I could forward or contribute information that would help in the production.
I smelt a bit of a rat at the time, unfortunately, since I was currently embroiled in a discussion with the above office as to why an otherwise undeniable piece of solid first-hand testimony including allusions to an explosion near the roof of the South-tower, had been retrospectively edited from a BBC radio 9.11 5th anniversary transmission.
I was working from the testimony of Beverly Eckert, a 911 widow, once member of ' Voices of September 11', whose husband Sean Rooney had worked on floor 92 of that building as vice-president of Aon Risk Management Services.

This Week, Maria Hinojosa talks with "Jersey Girl" Patty Casazza about her reaction to Democrats' attempts to implement 9/11 Commission national security recommendations. The "Jersey Girls" are a group of women whose husbands died in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Casazza is also a member of the steering committee keeping an eye on the 9/11 Commission's work. Casazza's husband John F. Casazza, a Cantor Fitzgerald employee, died at age 38. She has a teenage son.

Where has America been? More importantly, where has Christian America been? The U.S. began its aggression in the Middle East in 1953. Surely, the church is aware of the history of U.S. aggression against Muslim nations over the past 53 years?

"The people's voice will speak the truth and the government will hear," Forbes announced.

But the church never questioned the government to this degree when Bush sent a half-million troops to Saudi Arabia in 1990. Nor did the church stand against Carter and Reagan's support of Saddam Hussein from 1980 — 88. The church was also silent during the U.S. control of Iran for 26 years. And when September 11, 2001 became the foundation upon which America would launch a variety of illicit and illegal attacks and covert operations around the globe without respect to law, morality or human rights, the church sat in its pew and applauded.

Even to this very day, the church has yet to call for an independent investigation into the numerous anomalous events pertaining to the attacks of 9/11 and follow-up on the courageous push by the 4 widows from New Jersey, whose efforts made possible the 9/11 Commission, which even they have declared was a fraud. It was the Jersey Girls that pushed for truth.

Not the church.

Not congress.

Not judges.

Not governors.

Not state leaders.

Not even the national media.

Rush Limbaugh Compares Michael J. Fox to "Jersey Girls" - mediamatters.org

On the October 24 edition of his nationally syndicated radio program, Rush Limbaugh claimed that actor Michael J. Fox -- who has Parkinson's disease and appeared in a recent campaign ad for Missouri Democratic Senate candidate Claire McCaskill -- is part of "a script that they [Democrats] have written for years" in which "Senate Democrats used to parade victims of various diseases or social concerns or poverty up before congressional committees and let them testify and they were infallible." Limbaugh also compared Fox to "the Jersey Girls ... in the period of time when the 9-11 Commission was meeting publicly. Victims -- infallible, whatever they say cannot be challenged."

Limbaugh's remarks recall right-wing pundit Ann Coulter's accusation, in her book Godless: The Church of Liberalism (Crown Forum, June 2006), that the Jersey Girls -- a group of widows of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks -- were "using their grief" and "the fact that you lost a husband" to make "a political point while preventing anyone from responding," as Media Matters for America documented.

If you've been a member of the 9/11 Truth Movement for a long time, you're well aware how difficult this fight has been.

Some have faced ridicule the likes of which have never been seen before.

Some have been set up by the media to be made fools of, and worse.

Some have been kicked out of office in Washington D.C.

Some have lost friends that didn't want to listen.

Some have lost their jobs for speaking their mind.

Some have been harassed by this Government in one form or another.

The point is, this is probably the hardest thing this country has ever faced, and I am forever grateful to those that had the courage to face the truth.

Public's Right To Know - Declassification and Release of Documents

We, the undersigned, demand the immediate declassification and release of all transcripts and documents relating to the July 10, 2001 meeting that took place between former CIA Director George Tenet and then National Security Advisor, Condoleezza Rice. It has been alleged that this urgent and out-of-the-ordinary meeting was called to discuss the increasingly dire warnings of an imminent al Qaeda attack within the U.S.

Given that much of the July 10, 2001 meeting has already been made public in Bob Woodward's newly released book, "State of Denial", it is unacceptable to continue to keep these documents and transcripts hidden from the American public's view.

In addition, we again call for the declassification and release of both the redacted 28 pages of the Joint Inquiry Into The Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001 (JICI) and the CIA Inspector General's report, "CIA Accountability With Respect To The 9/11 Attacks".

The disastrous nature of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks warrant the release of all of this information so that the American public may learn what its government did or did not do to protect them. Had this nation been properly warned of the looming and imminent terrorist threat, life saving choices could have been made that day.

Astonishingly, five years post 9/11 the public is made aware about an urgent July 10, 2001 meeting that took place between former CIA Director George Tenet and then, National Security Advisor, Condoleezza Rice. This information comes from Bob Woodward's newly released book, "State of Denial".

A Letter to Ann Coulter - Huffington Post

Dear Ann,

But for the murder of our husbands on 9/11, we would not have gone to Washington to fight for an independent 9/11 investigation. Our involvement in national security would have begun and ended at the voting booth, like most citizens. But for the initial failure of our leaders and elected officials to create an independent 9/11 Commission to investigate the terrorist attacks, we would not have not been forced to publicly fight for it.

You complained to many interviewers that they hadn't taken the time to read your book. But did you take the time to look at the Family Steering Committee Web site (www.911independentcommission.org)? You might discover that we shared some of the same disappointments, concerns, and grievances that you have expressed with regard to the 9/11 Commission. The difference is that we made those concerns known while the Commission was doing its work--that is, when it could have made a difference. Why didn't you?
