KSM

Desperate Disinformation Campaign

What we are seeing right now is one of the last, pathetic attempts of this administration to save itself from the truth about 9/11. First they rolled out KSM, with his confessions about 9/11 and every other terrorist plot in the last twenty years. As if they really expect us to believe in the first place something which has been entirely mediated through the Pentagon and CIA after three years in a secret torture prison, there are gaping holes in KSM's story. First off, he "admitted" to a terror plot against a building for which the planning didn't even begin until 2006... and yet he's supposedly been in custody for three or four years now. Secondly, he supposedly admits to killing journalist Daniel Pearl. But someone else has already been brought in for that killing- Omar Sheikh. Notice how US-Pakistani relations have been cooling off lately? Maybe it's to do with the fact that Pakistani President General Musharaff outed Omar Sheik about six months ago as an MI-6 agent.

(Daniel) Pearl Family Doubts KSM Confession

Exclusive: Pearl Family Doubts KSM Confession

The father of murdered Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl says he doesn't believe al Qaeda mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed is the man who beheaded his son, despite Mohammed's confession to a US military tribunal.

"He wants to take credit for doing it, and he wants to exonerate al Qaeda, blame Pakistan, and whatever," said Judea Pearl, Danny's father. "When a person confesses and he has nothing to lose. You have to take it with a spice of doubt." ... Continued...

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed: The Official Legend of 9/11 is a Fabricated Setup

The following text by Chaim Kupferberg, first published by Global Research in October 2003, shortly after the arrest of KSM, reveals with foresight and accuracy the nature of the propaganda ploy. According to Kupferberg, a "marketing plan" was established in June 2002 to introduce Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to the public as the 9/11 mastermind.

Kupferberg exposes with accuracy and foresight, how the official legend was fabricated around Khalid Shaikh Mohammed. - Continued...

Important: Huge Problem with KSM Confession

Larisa Alexandrovna, the outstanding reporter for Raw Story, has an update on the KSM story at her personal blog.

In his confession, KSM claims:

"I was responsible for planning, training, surveying, and financing for the New (or Second) Wave of attacks against the following skyscrapers after 9/11: ...Plaza Bank, Washington state"

The Plaza Bank was not founded until 2006 according to their official Web site:

"Founded in early 2006, with a vision of creating the leading commercial bank in the Pacific Northwest, Plaza Bank’s story quickly captured the hearts and passion of some of the region’s leading business minds. From Jack Creighton, former CEO of Weyerhaeuser and United Airlines, to former Seattle Mariner Edgar Martinez, and nationally acclaimed salon operator Gene Juárez, the story of a bank founded to bring “class to the mass” simply could not be contained."

I think we can say for quite certain that whomever is being held as KSM was either caught recently or that his entire confession is a fraud.

Time Magazine: Can KSM's Confession Be Believed?

Can KSM's Confession Be Believed?

Little in the just released confession of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the presumed mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, is new. The U.S. government long ago cataloged those alleged crimes based on extensive interrogations of Mohammed and other prisoners held in the CIA's controversial and now liquidated overseas prisons. But the transcripts of Mohammed's hearing — part of proceedings that began last Friday at the U.S. detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba — are the first time the U.S. government has made publicly available his personal description of a stunning range of terrorist plots he claims to have had a hand in. These include both the 1993 and 2001 assaults on the World Trade Center, as well as the beheading of the Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. Mohammed boasts he had complete or partial participation in 29 terror plots, some of which were never carried out.

Matt Lauer: Can KSM's "Tortured" Testimony be Trusted?

Current CNN Poll:

As far as I know, this is the first MSM news source to question the confession. Let's see if any other MSM commentators pick up on this. Of course, KSM may be dead. And he might have been a patsy and an asset. Or he might never have confessed, since we have only the Pentagon's word for it, and KSM's statements supposedly came through a military spokesman. But Lauer's questions about torture will hopefully be the first crack in this Pentagon psyops campaign.

Update: Reprehensor points out that KSM says he made false statements due to torture, and that his witness requests were not granted. And Prisonplanet has an absolutely hilarious take on the KSM confession story.

Raw Story's got the goods

On Thursday, NBC's Today show explored whether the confessions of alleged 9/11 'mastermind' Khalid Sheikh Mohammed can be trusted since he claimed to have been tortured after being detained.

"Let's talk about the issue of torture," NBC's Matt Lauer said. "He says in his statement that he didn't make this statement under duress or pressure, but he does also say that he was tortured by the CIA after his capture."

Last September, CIA sources told ABC News that the harshest technique they were authorized to use on "high-value detainees, such as the 9/11 attacks architect Khalid Sheikh Mohamed...was called 'water boarding,' in which a prisoner's face was covered with cellophane, and water is poured over it (pictured above) -- meant to trigger an unbearable gag reflex."

Cheney Admits KSM Was Tortured

The 9/11 Commission never interviewed KSM, nor his interrogators, and could not corroborate his alleged testimony. Now Cheney admits KSM was tortured. How reliable is most of the info in chapters 5 and 7 of the 9/11 Commission Report?

Cheney Admits Water Torture of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed

Scott Hennen: And terrorist interrogations and that debate is another example. And I've had people call and say, please, let the Vice President know that if it takes dunking a terrorist in water, we're all for it, if it saves American lives. Again, this debate seems a little silly given the threat we face, would you agree?

The Vice President: I do agree. And I think the terrorist threat, for example, with respect to our ability to interrogate high value detainees like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, that's been a very important tool that we've had to be able to secure the nation. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed provided us with enormously valuable information about how many there are, about how they plan, what their training processes are and so forth, we've learned a lot. We need to be able to continue that.

'9/11 planner had role in Pearl plot'
[ 28 Sep, 2006 2102hrs ISTAP ]

ISLAMABAD: The top Al Qaida operative accused of masterminding 9/11 either killed or took part in the murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, Pakistan's president has alleged for the first time.

General Musharraf's claim, made in his memoirs, could be used to try to clear one of Pearl's four convicted killers, who is appealing his death sentence, the prisoner's lawyer said on Wednesday.

Musharraf accused Khalid Sheikh Mohammed of taking part in the killing. "The man who may have actually killed Pearl or at least participated in his butchery, we eventually discovered, was none other than Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Al Qaida's No. 3," Musharraf wrote in In The Line of Fire.

Rohan Gunaratna, head of terrorism research at Singapore's Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies, said it has long been understood that it was Mohammed, who killed Pearl to prove to the West after September11 that Al Qaida was still bent on killing Americans.

Bush Tacitly Implies WTC Controlled Demolition?
Makes strange 'explosives in U.S. buildings' reference during torture speech Friday

Paul Joseph Watson/Prison Planet.com | September 18 2006

During his speech Friday in which the President argued for the gutting of the Geneva convention and the legal classification of torture, Bush made a strange comment about explosives and their placement in U.S. buildings. Was this a tacit admission of 9/11 controlled demolition?

Here's the quote in full from the White House website.

"For example, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed described the design of planned attacks of buildings inside the U.S. and how operatives were directed to carry them out."
