Paul Joseph Watson on newly revealed Silverstein admission

This is from April 23, 2010. His analysis of the Jesse Ventura hit piece on FOX News that contains new info on Silverstein's "pull it" comments.

An otherwise laughable hit piece against Jesse Ventura has one very bizarre paragraph

I was reading the following hit piece against Jesse Ventura by Fox News, and as I was thinking that this has got to be the most ridiculous hit piece I've ever seen (so over-the-top that it almost reads like something out of the Onion, such as when he says he was there and saw with his own eyes WTC7 fall "silently"), I did a major double take when I read this part:

Shortly before the building collapsed, several NYPD officers and Con-Edison workers told me that Larry Silverstein, the property developer of One World Financial Center was on the phone with his insurance carrier to see if they would authorize the controlled demolition of the building – since its foundation was already unstable and expected to fall.

Now, of course, the author's claim is that the building just so happened to collapse before any controlled demolition could actually take place.

I don't think the 911blogger community needs to be reminded that a controlled demolition could not have been set up in the few hours after the attack.

The Great 9/11 Insurance Bonanza

Diary Entry by Gene Cappa

"An Insurance Policy that had been set up for the WTC Complex only weeks before the Twin Towers went down" says Investigative Journalist Laurence De Mello.

Larry Silverstein - "The Harder I Worked The Luckier I Became"

De Mello continues, "In 1980, ..real estate tycoon Silverstein, won a bid from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to construct 7 World Trade Center to the north of the WTC.

Building 7 World Trade Center was situated above a (Con Ed) power substation, which imposed unique structural design constraints. When the building first opened in 1987, Silverstein had difficulties attracting tenants. In 1988, Salomon Brothers signed a long-term lease, and became the main tenants of the building.

But this building was also losing money. Silverstein was interested in acquiring the entire World Trade Center complex, and put in a bid when the Port Authority put it up for lease in 2000. (he had waited over 20 years for this!).

"What about President Obama's science czar, John Holdren? Stewardship of the 2009-2010 H1N1 Swine Flu "national emergency" by the Obama administration is advancing akin to mass murder motivated by profit and the goal to depopulate more than half the world's population. You think this is foolish conspiracy nonsense? Research the "health reformers," drug pushers, and media moguls in the Partnership for New York City, the Population Council, and you will learn why Holdren wrote the book Ecoscience (in 1977), calling for massive depopulation using vaccinations for sterilization! Larry Silverstein, WTC developer, seeks bailout

http://www.nypost.com/seven/03212009/news/regionalnews/groud_zerodeveloperseeks_bailout_160623.htm

Mega-developer Larry Silverstein is going hat in hand to the Port Authority to help finance long-stalled projects at Ground Zero, according to a published report.

Under the plan, the agency would put up dough for one of the three office towers that Silverstein is developing at the site, which has languished in a series of costly delays since 9/11, possibly in exchange for a piece of the profits later on, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The skyscrapers will hold the fire exits and ventilation machinery for the planned $3.2 billion transit hub as well as the delivery ramps for the Freedom Tower, and must be finished beforehand.

Silverstein who is having trouble raising the $7 billion required to complete the project while being hamstrung with the site's $79 million a year lease reportedly is seeking cash for a second tower as well.

"We are continuing to discuss with Silverstein Properties how to best meet a changed market while ensuring that the World Trade Center site is rebuilt in the best public interest," a PA spokeswoman told the paper.

New York Times article

The last paragraph is a hammer blow.

"BEFORE it moves into a new office tower in downtown Manhattan, Salomon Brothers, the brokerage firm, intends to spend nearly two years and more than $200 million cutting out floors, adding elevators, reinforcing steel girders, upgrading power supplies and making other improvements in its million square feet of space.

The work, which began last month at Seven World Trade Center, reflects both the adaptability of steel-framed towers and the extraordinary importance of fail-safe computer and telephone systems for the brokerage industry. According to many real estate experts, no company has ever made such extensive alterations to a new office building in Manhattan.

...

In some office buildings, that alteration would be impossible, but Silverstein Properties tried to second-guess the needs of potential tenants when it designed Seven World Trade Center as a speculative project.

Larry Silverstein's investments are "Pulled" in Madoff Ponzi Collapse

Actor, baseball legend, big developer, some Canadians on Madoff client list

NEW YORK — Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Koufax. Actor Kevin Bacon. World Trade Center developer Larry Silverstein.

All three are among thousands of names on a list of clients of disgraced financial wizard Bernard Madoff.

The list - 162 pages of 84 lines each, but with many omissions of personal names and duplications reflecting multiple accounts - has been made public in a filing in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan.

A testament to the sweeping nature of Madoff's alleged fraud, it includes his relatives, prominent business people, celebrities and charitable institutions.

The list does not specify how much money the customers may have lost, nor does it spell out their connection to Madoff. Some names appear merely to have been on his mailing list.

A few Canadians are on the list, including Judy Pencer, sister-in-law of the late Gerald Pencer, former CEO of soft-drink maker Cott Corp. She declined to comment.

Larry Silverstein Sues Airlines for more billions from 9/11

NYC ruling limits airlines' liability for 9/11
Judge limits liability of aviation defendants to replacement costs of WTC towers

NEW YORK (Associated Press) - A judge says developer Larry Silverstein cannot recover more from the aviation industry than the $2.8 billion value of the World Trade Center if his lawsuits succeed.

Federal Judge Alvin Hellerstein made the determination in a ruling filed Thursday. The decision carried Wednesday's date.

Hellerstein rejected Silverstein's claims that his company would be entitled to as much as $16.2 billion from American Airlines, United Airlines and other aviation defendants.

A lawsuit on behalf of Silverstein's companies claimed that negligence by the airlines allowed the terrorists to hijack planes that struck the twin towers on Sept. 11, 2001.

The aviation defendants denied liability.

A call to Silverstein's lawyer wasn't immediately returned. Top of page

LARRY COMES UP SHORT AGAINST THE AIRLINES ON 9-11 SUIT

SILVERSTEIN SUFFERS SETBACK IN 9-11 SUIT AGAINST AIRLINES

By Peter Duveen

PETER'S NEW YORK, December 12, 2008--A judge ruled yesterday that Larry Silverstein can only attempt to recover $2.8 million from airlines he alleges shared responsibility for the World Trade Center disaster of 2001, commonly referred to as 9-11, the New York Post reports. Alvin Hellerstein, U.S. district court judge for the Southern District of New York, ruled that Silverstein, leaseholder for the property on which the World Trade Center stood, can only sue to recover the fair market value of his lease, and not the entire $16.2 million that would include the value of four office towers of the World Trade Center complex that were destroyed on 9-11.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, two airliners crashed into each of the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. Two other airliners are alleged to have crashed that same morning into the Pentagon building in Arlington, Virginia, and into a field in Pennsylvania.

Let's sing this song loud and wake up more citizens around the world!

SEPTEMBER 11th WAS AN INSIDE JOB!

BTW, has anyone taped and uploaded the performance at the Now or Never event in NYC on 12th last month?

Silverstein: Pull it!

Warm greetings to all truthers!

The Larry Silverstein quote "pull it", has for long been pending as a confession of a controlled demolition, among us, and in several videos.
Even though it could be interpreted as demolition-slang, I believe it is not plausible enough to be presented as a confession.

When firefighters abandon a building (pull people out), they do use the term 'pull it'. But this is not all. I find it extremely implausible, that the firefighters should have been able to do it, concerning time, experience, expertise and option.

I see it as the only logical conclusion, that the firefighters did not have a role in the demolition of WTC7, but that it must have been caused by pre-placed explosives. As thus the words "pull it", in the conversation between Silverstein and the fire-chief, must have meant pulling firefighters out.

My plea to you, fellow truthers, is to drop arguements like that. It makes more damage to our credibility, than it helps.

Vive la revolution!

World Trade Center deal between Port Authority, Silverstein hits a wall

World Trade Center deal between Port Authority, Silverstein hits a wall

By Douglas Feiden
Daily News Staff Writer

An ugly $300,000-a-day feud erupted Tuesday between the Port Authority and developer Larry Silverstein over the rebuilding of Ground Zero, the Daily News has learned.

The bistate agency claimed it had turned over "construction-ready" land at the site on Sunday to the builder to construct two enormous office towers - and no longer has to shell out late fees totaling $2.1 million a week.

Not true, says Silverstein. The plot hasn't been fully excavated and he can't start building Towers 2 and 4, the developer insists.

"It is unfortunate that the PA has failed to live up to its obligations," said Janno Lieber, president of World Trade Center Properties, the Silverstein company that is building three skyscrapers on the 16-acre site.

Noting that PA Executive Director Chris Ward had left a steel-and-timber retaining wall smack dab in the middle of the site, Silverstein executive Dara McQuillan joked, "Mr. Ward, tear down this wall."
