When a reporter hears a building fall 23 minutes before it does, is there a sound?

The view from BBC reporter Jane Standley's window was a spectacular mess. Thick plumes of smoke rose above the New York City skyline, blotting out sunlight and choking the morale of rescue workers trying to salvage human life from the wreckage of the just-collapsed World Trade Center.

It was the afternoon of September 11, 2001, and Standley was responding to questions posed by colleagues in England. "New York very much a city still in chaos," she said. "The phones are not working properly, the subway lines are not working properly, and we know that down there near the World Trade Center there are three schoools that are being turned into triage centres for emergency treatment."

NY Governor Eliot Spitzer filed an amicus brief on 1/15/03 on behalf of the World Trade Center's controversial lease-holder, the real estate magnate Larry Silverstein. This document shows that Spitzer, as Attorney General, helped Silverstein get the whopping $4.5 billion windfall for the 9/11 attacks. The record is clear: Spitzer helped reverse a lower court's decision, by making credible Silverstein's argument that the two different plane crashes on 9/11/01 should be compensated as two different terrorist attacks.

Silverstein Was Already Thinking About Insurance Already On The Day of 9/11

It is well known that World Trade Center leaseholder Larry Silverstein has tried to claim the 9/11 attacks against New York constituted two separate events, thus entitling him to a double insurance payout. But a new entry in the Complete 9/11 Timeline reveals something less well known: Silverstein was already thinking about how to get this double payout on the evening of 9/11 itself:

Last night I saw Richard Gage's presentation on Google Video about the collapse of the WTC. It was the first time I heard that insurance companies covering buildings were able to hike up their premiums by 2000% after 9/11. No wonder they don't want to tangle with Larry Silverstein. Each and every one of them has everything to gain by remaining quiet and everything to lose through infighting.

JPMorgan to build bank tower at 9/11 site

JPMorgan Chase & Co plans to move its investment bank to a new tower at the office complex to be built on the "Ground Zero" World Trade Center site, a source familiar with the situation has said.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the government agency that controls the site, said in April that it was negotiating with the No. 3 US banking group about building an office tower just south of the complex that was destroyed on September 11, 2001.

New York State Governor Eliot Spitzer alerted reporters in an advisory that he was holding a news conference on Thursday about a "major economic development announcement."

Luke in NY needs legal representation

Hey all, Luke was on Alex today and has the scumbags in front of the new WTC7 accusing him of having a bomb, accusing him of being a terrorist, and calling the cops on him claiming he has a bomb.

He'd file a complaint, but doesn't have legal representation. Does anyone know where he could get some free legal representation?

"The Hardy boys are called in to investigate the World Trade Centre conspiracy and once Detective Yates points out that ‘there were two towers that stood right here, and they're gone.’ One of the Hardy boys immediately muses ‘mnnn, who would benefit most from two buildings disappearing?’ The subtext again is easy enough to spot here. Who benefits? Whoever claims the insurance payoff.

For the unaware, that would be one Larry Silverstein, who only purchased the lease to the WTC on July 24th 2001, seven weeks before the buildings were destroyed. This was the first time in the building's 31-year history that the complex had changed ownership. The lease agreement applied to WTC Buildings One, Two, Four and Five, and about 425,000 square feet of retail space. (He already owned WTC7). Silverstein put up only $14 million of his own money and was also given the right to rebuild the structures, should they be destroyed..."

9-11 Justice

I'm always looking for something short and concise to pass along to others, in addition to using as teasers and such when showing full-length films on a variety of other subjects to others.

I just found this short video that was apparantly posted to google 2-21-2007. I thought that it packed an enormous amout of disturbing information into less than 20 minutes. It could be a good to to use with those whose attention spans have been severely impaired by the immediate gratification of television sound bites.
