Mass Mind Control
By Franz J. T. Lee
On Tuesday, May 17 , 2006, in an article published by Mathaba.Net, I explained the terrorist essence of most political hoaxes used by fascist or imperialist regimes:
"In reality, Columbus did not discover anything whatsoever, yet by means of education, socialization and dissemination of untruths by the international mass media, around him was built up the greatest capitalist, colonial and imperialist myth of all times, a big lie much greater than the fantastic tales related to the 'Reichtagsbrand', 'Pearl Harbor', the 'Blowing up of the Twin Towers' and to Chavez the 'Big Dictator' ".
Of course, by now all serious natural and social scientists know that African Arab peoples were visiting the Caribbean and Central America centuries because Christopher Columbus launched the bloody, genocidal Conquest of the Americas. (ibid.) Yet, in schools and colleges millions of pupils and students are still taught the big lie created half a millennium ago, over and over again. No wonder that they do not question the lies about '9/11'-
Alfonso Cuarón, director of "Children of Men", and Naomi Klein, author of "No Logo", present a short film from Klein's book "The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism." Watch it:
Like all of us, I have sometimes been surprised by what seemed to be irrational and overly emotional responses from close friends, respected colleagues or family members on the issue of 9/11 truth. After each such incident, I wondered how someone could appear to be so blind even to the big problems with some of the most basic undisputed facts of 9/11, like the fact that our servants in government have failed to give us an explanation for the collapse of WTC7 and the fact that the only arguments which even begin to address the concerns of citizens questioning the quality of our servants' work-product, The 9/11 Commission Report, were given to us by a privately owned magazine, and a cheesy one at that, instead of from our servants themselves. Why couldn't my loved ones see the elephants in the living room?

In researching the Bush administrations manipulation of public perceptions,
I came across an interesting summary of the State Departments Philip
Zelikow, who was Executive Director on the 9-11 Commission, that greatest of
all charades. According to Wikipedia:
"Prof. Zelikows area of academic expertise is the creation and
maintenance of, in his words, 'public myths or 'public presumptions which
he defines as 'beliefs (1) thought to be true ( although not necessarily
known with certainty) and (2) shared in common within the relevant political
community. In his academic work and elsewhere he has taken a special
interest in what he has called 'searing or 'molding events (that) take on
transcendent importance and therefore retain their power even as the
experiencing generation passes from the scene
.He has noted that 'a
historys narrative power is typically linked to how readers relate to the
actions of individuals in the history; if readers cannot make the connection
to their own lives, then a history may fail to engage them at all."

America is in more trouble than I thought if the Oprah group-think barometer is any indication. On today's Oprah show entitled "Truth in America", Oprah had on New York Times columnist Frank Rich who penned a book called "The Greatest Story Ever Sold: The Decline and Fall of Truth from 9/11 to Katrina.” Sacred cows that were discussed were whether or not the nation was misled into a war in Iraq and Katrina. The ostensible outright manipulation of evidence and facts (i.e. LYING) for WMD's and going to war was all couched and presented with rather safe language by citing bad intelligence, bad sources, the dems knew too, fictionalities etc. However, the language police sirens internalized in Oprah's head went off like crazy when somehow Rich intimated that Bush was lying about the state of affairs during Katrina. During this exchange, Oprah began to behave erratically and fearfully as she devotedly defended the "Decider". No, No...I don't think he way lying - I think you have to say he was misinformed etc..etc.. This caught my ear because Oprah appeared frantic in getting the point in when all she had to do was let Mr. Rich get his point in and then say something like, I think we can all agree that Mr.
"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
