Yes, it's true. (Or might be.) For years, fringe types have pointed to amazingly sketchy but entertaining evidence that the attacks of 9/11 were actually foretold by the beloved Fox cartoon. Nearly four years before 9/11, in an episode of the show entitled "The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson," there's a curious little scene that some conspiracy lovers and "Simpsons" aficionados have long thought might be a warning....

Time to update our 9/11 Honour and Dishonour Roll. Some fine qualifees have presented themselves in recent months.

The original idea of the list was to record for posterity those news organizations that have or haven't done their job in covering 9/11. You'll find that roster here. For this iteration, I'm expanding it to include individual media types -- columnists, hosts -- as they've been the busiest truthers or obscurantists of late.

One of the most bizarre and unbelievable accounts given by anyone with TV network connections on Sept. 11, 2001 was that of Theresa Renaud, described as the wife of CBS Early Show producer Jack Renaud.

Renaud was recounting live on CBS how she had been at her window and had heard the North Tower explosion. While telling the story, she sees the second alleged impact. Her account of that, live, was very revealing.

Before that second impact, she explained to host Bryant Gumbel that her office building in Chelsea looked “directly on to” the towers (even though it was several miles north). She described how her building was the tallest in the area, giving her a good view of the World Trade Center.

Renaud described the first impact this way: “I would say that approximately 10 minutes ago there was a major explosion from, probably it looks like from the 80th floor, it looks like it’s affected probably four to eight floors, major flames are coming out of the, let’s see, the north side and also the east side of the building, yes.”

Bilderberg member Hillary Clinton arrived at Parliament today, and was welcomed by a protest featuring NZ911TRUTH. TVNZ aired footage of Mike Woods, who said "the evidence is overwhelming that the buildings [WTC 1, 2 & 7] were brought down by controlled demolition". 3NEWS - the music video and celebrity gossip specialists - did a poorer job by not airing the raw footage on live TV. Although, they did post raw footage on their website. In the online footage, TV3 filmed a clip showing Jade Tuckwell's sign, which read "Hillary's CFR pimps want to steal Iran's oil".

TVNZ political reporter Michael Parkin described the protest as "pretty pitiful". This comes as no surprise given the small turnout, which mainly featured members of Peace Action Wellington and Indymedia. Regardless, it achieved a milestone for NZ911TRUTH. This was the first time NZ911TRUTH received coverage of its own, as opposed to us getting coverage for AE911TRUTH. Follow the links below to watch the videos:

While it is recognized that through the use of meta-analysis and randomized controlled trials the standard of excellence in evidenced-based medicine (EBM) stands alone on a pinnacle, there is nonetheless an evidence-based methodology that can be applied across the board in other decision-making areas. Though research into the events of 9/11 has not yet attained the rigor achieved by EBM, it is still possible to rank the research in this field according to evidence-based principles. This article explains the principles, points to sources that exemplify them, and argues the ethical obligation of librarians and journalists to advance those sources .

Nine-eleven has done more to change the world’s political landscape than any other event since World War II.
