Anders Bjorkman is a structural engineer from France who became an early member of Richard Gage's AE911Truth. He had previously given speeches in his country to people whose children had seen footage of the Trade Towers’ destruction and were worried that buildings could collapse from the top down. He reassured these parents that this couldn’t happen and posted his presentation on his web site where it gradually developed.

Björkman became a formal critic of the “Progressive Collapse” or “Piledriver” theory promoted by Dr. Zdenek Bazant, a consultant for the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) in its work on 9-11. The Piledriver theory basically says that prolonged heating weakened the support columns of a single floor which caused the upper section to crush what was below it in a chain-reaction all the way to the bottom.

We have a federal agency showing disdain for the Freedom of Information Act. Dr. Patrick Gallagher, Director of National Institute for Standards and Technology, denied a request from structural engineer Ronald Brookman, who sought detailed structural analysis information gathered by NIST when they determined the cause of the World Trade Center Building 7 collapse. Gallagher's stated reason for denial was that releasing it "might jeopardize public safety."

What might jeopardize public safety is "not" allowing professionals in the building industry such as Mr. Brookman to independently study the NIST analysis of the highly anomalous building failure. A 47-story high-rise suddenly collapses straight down into its own footprint — highly anomalous.

Many Americans are unaware that three buildings within the World Trade Center complex fell on Sept 11, 2001. Craig Bartmer, an NYPD officer who was present at the destruction of World Trade Center Building 7, testifies that he heard a series of explosions, "Thum, thum, thum, thum, thum" preceding the fall of the building. At the same time a TV interview is being conducted down the street, far from the building. The microphone picks up the same series of sharp, percussive sounds, confirming Bartmer's description. NIST artificially ruled out all such testimony by setting up a hypothetical loudness threshold for sounds it considered to be capable of destroying columns in the building.  The video goes on to question NIST's computed loudness threshold below which they would not investigate explosions.

Derek Johnson, a foundry expert and petition-signer of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, absolutely SHREDS the half-baked government NIST report on Building 7. Derek presents newly-FOIA'd modeling video from NIST that shows animated steel beams floating and spinning in mid-air. This is only part of the ludicrousness of the NIST report on WTC7 and newly FOIA'd docs that Derek obtained from NIST. According to Derek, NIST's animated modeled version of what happened to WTC7 is little more than "a tinker-toy approximation with a brick thrown at it..high schoolers could have done a better job." It seems NIST also recently released 8,910 files to Ronald Brookman of Cryptome, I wonder if he will make these available? They withheld 3,370 files for reasons of 'public safety', including the 'connection models' and all 'results files'.
