NYC CAN, AE911Truth ask NYC city council to investigate WTC Building 7

A New York-based group allied with Architects and Engineers for 9-11Truth is lobbying New York City council members to investigate the anomalous circumstances surrounding the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7.

Wake Up the District Attorney With 1,000 Letters: WEEK 1

NYCCAN Letter Week 1

Wake Up the District Attorney With 1,000 Letters

http://world911truth.org/wake-up-the-district-attorney-with-1000-letters-week-1/

A message from NYC CAN:

Fellow Advocates,

Today is the first day of our 4-week campaign urging the Manhattan District Attorney to investigate the destruction of World Trade Center Building 7. To bring Building 7 fully to the attention of the District Attorney, our goal is to flood the DA's office with 1,000 letters and faxes per week, because anything short of 1,000 will fail to show just how widespread the desire for a new investigation is. We are counting on you to take part in this gigantic grassroots effort no matter who you are or how busy you are. The good thing is:

DJ Green Arrow of Artists and Actors for 9/11 Truth once again vows to set new rap record, inspired by NYCCAN

DJ Green Arrow, the rapper who set a new Guinness World Record™ for "Longest Freestyle Rap" at the "We Demand Transparency" Conference, is about to quintuple his record, in an attempt to gain NYCCAN.org major media exposure.

"I have some people from the mainstream media who are interested in this event, because it's a chance for everyone to experience the longest freestyle and continuous rap ever performed in
history. I want to, while I have people aware of my accomplishment, advocate that the official story cannot be true and demand a real investigation".

DJ Green Arrow was asked by Dr. David Ray Griffin to be a member of a new group, created by Dr. Griffin and Ed Asner, called Artists and Actors for 9/11 Truth. The website for the group, which has not officially launched yet, is aa911truth.com

The Final Day - 1,000 Phone Calls!

Fellow Advocates:

Today is a special day.  For the last three weeks, your phone calls and faxes have worked like a steam roller, paving the way for NYC CAN and courageous council members to begin to raise the discussion about opening a real investigation into the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7.  Today we bring this marathon effort to a close by making a statement that will resonate through City Hall.

Rather than contacting three council members, we are contacting only one - the most powerful member of the City Council, the Speaker, Christine Quinn.  Our goal is to reach 1,000 phone calls, which will amount to one phone call every 30 seconds.  This tactic is not arbitrary - in order to get through to Christine Quinn we need a gigantic show of support, and it only takes two minutes of your time.

Special Instructions ...

BUILDING WHAT?! Day 14 (and important Day 17 info!)

Fellow Advocates:

Please note that City Council offices will be closed tomorrow, Friday, April 2 in observance of Good Friday. Building WHAT?! will resume full force on Monday, April 5, and culminate on Wednesday, April 7 with the Speaker of the City Council, Christine Quinn, who will be the only council member we contact that day. Our goal for the Speaker's office is 1,000 phone calls and faxes, so please be sure to participate on Wednesday, April 7 - with only one person to contact it's very easy!

Also, just to reiterate, please be sure to direct the aides to "A Message From Bob McIlvaine" on the NYC CAN home page so they see footage of Building 7 and learn what the pursuit of truth is all about.

Thank you!

As always, two simple rules for participating in this campaign:

1) Talk only about World Trade Center Building 7

2) Be courteous and respectful

Each morning NYC CAN informs the council members’ offices that anyone who is disrespectful, or who mentions other aspects of 9/11, is trying to sabotage the legitimate call for a proper investigation into the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. And to ensure that opponents of truth do not undermine our effort, we will need each and every one of you to get involved and drown out their vitriolic voice with courtesy, clarity and honesty.

Building What?! Day 11 (7 Days to Go!)

Fellow Advocates:

Thank you for sticking with it and making it easy for the City Council to listen to us with your polite and focused manner! So far all of the offices have told us they were pleased with how we have been communicating our message. Rest assured they are taking notice of what we have to say.

As we head into the final seven days of our campaign, we will be contacting some key council members whose support we will be counting on to make the City Council address Building 7, The Salomon Brothers building. So please be sure to continue what you are doing and make the effort end with a crescendo.

If you haven't gotten involved yet, please consider doing so. One participant had this to say on Friday: "I'm pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to make a few simple calls to the Council Members. Their aides seem friendly and sincere, and are telling me they're getting over 100 calls per day. They all promise that the Members will be looking into WTC 7. It feels good to help spread the word."

We have three points to make:

Building What?! Day 7

Fellow Advocates:

Thank you for keeping Building What?! going full blast. Our numbers are high and the simplicity of our message is opening eyes. Think about it this way: two weeks from today the entire New York City Council and all of their staff will know that 1,100+ architects and engineers are calling for a new investigation into the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. Almost all of them will have seen footage of WTC 7, and a vast majority, those capable of being honest with themselves, will know that office fires did not bring it down. That in itself is a remarkable accomplishment, but more importantly, we are creating the kind of awareness that leads to unforeseeable and uncontrollable developments.

Day 6 - Letter from 9/11 Widow to Councilman Garodnick

Fellow Advocates:

Thank you to everyone who participated in the first week of the Building What?! campaign.

So far, we have contacted 15 of the 51 members of the New York City Council. When we are done with all 51 council members, there will be a big elephant in the room at City Hall. NYC CAN is in the process of meeting with individual council members, educating them in-depth and urging them not to let the elephant go ignored. Don’t expect immediate results, but do expect the seeds we are all are planting together to bloom as public opinion continues to shift in our favor.

On Thursday, 9/11 family member Jane Pollicino sent a powerful letter to one of Council Member Daniel Garodnick’s aides that surely found its way to the council member.

Mr. Pasquini,

BUILDING WHAT?! Day 4 (and Important Updates!)

Fellow Advocates:

Thank you to everyone who helped make Building What?! Day 3 an even greater success.

9 down. 42 to go.

Before giving Day 3’s quotes and Day 4’s council member info, we have two important updates to make:

1) Starting tomorrow, Day 5, instructions will no longer be sent through email blasts. Please go to NYCCAN.org, where instructions for that day will be posted.

Repeat: there will not be an action alert in your inbox on Friday. Please be sure to go to NYCCAN.org on your own to get the instructions.

It is crucial that the same number of people participate once we stop sending out email blasts, so, on Friday, we will ask you to send an email to info@nyccan.org notifying us that you participated that day.

BUILDING WHAT?! Day 3 (and Day 2 Recap)

Fellow Advocates:

Thank you to everyone who helped make Building What?! Day 2 a great success.

Quotes from Day 2:

"I cannot tell you how happy I am that you are doing this extremely smart campaign... Nothing can be more important at this point. The aides tell me they've been inundated with calls from all over the country."

"She was very nice, she was unaware and said it makes you really think about it ... [Another] said all the council members are aware the calls will be made to them over the next couple of weeks. Said they have not decided what kind of statement to make, though they are all aware of it."

BUILDING WHAT?! Day 2 (and Day 1 Recap)

Fellow Advocates:

Thank you to everyone who helped make Building What?! Day 1 a great success.

3 down. 48 to go.

Before repeating yesterday’s instructions, here’s a snippet from the emails we received from people who called in.
________________________________________

“The office of Maria Arroyo was very nice to me and seemed excited to hear from me!”

“In all 3 cases, they asked if this was in regards to WTC 7 before I had said anything.”

“Before the words 'Building 7' were out of my mouth they said, 'Yes, we know.'… The aide said they'd been receiving calls to look into this and will announce further action on his part, since this is the first they've heard about it.”

“I said something like, ‘I have been ignoring all this stuff until now because I just saw a video of 7 coming down and that just seems impossible to me.’ She then kind of laughed at me and said, ‘You only just learned about this? We have ALWAYS known about building 7.’ In short, I'm getting the feeling this was a GOOD IDEA."
