Occupy Wall Street
Kevin is a chemistry laboratory manager with twenty-two years of professional experience. Through his work as Site Manager for the environmental testing division of Underwriters Laboratories (UL), he began to investigate the tragedy of September 11th, 2001. Ryan was fired by UL, in 2004, for publicly asking questions about UL’s testing of the structural materials used to construct the World Trade Center (WTC) buildings as well as UL’s involvement in the WTC investigation being conducted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
EVITAN the newly formed hip-hop group of legendary MCs Dres (Black Sheep) and Jarobi (A Tribe Called Quest) filmed the music video for their first single P.T.I. (Occupy Wall Street) on the weekend of Nov. 20th. Coincidentally it was the same weekend when Occupy Building 7 was demonstrating in Zuccotti Park and the surrounding WTC complex.
Throughout the video various signs are visible relating to 9/11. Briefly an A&E sign relating to Building 7's free fall collapse and a wearechange.org sign reading "? 9/11" can be seen. Visible throughout the majority of the video is Scott Halfmann holding a sign that reads "9/11 WAS A 1% JOB 99% MUST INVESTIGATE!". If you aren't familiar with Scott Halfmann he was the Man+Arrested+at+Ground+Zero+for+Demanding+Truth. Later in the day Scott was featured in an interview with Adam Kokesh of Adam vs the Man.
MEDIA ROOTS – Abby & Robbie Martin cover Occupy Wall Street: the police state repression against the First Amendment, the Democratic Party's attempt to co-opt the movement, the Obama administration's hypocrisy to praise revolution abroad and censor it at home, the fact that the Tea Party and OWS are fighting two heads of the same beast, the "Black Bloc" provocateurs and their attempt to discredit peaceful movements; media censorship and the fact that news anchors are repeaters, not reporters; the two-tiered justice system catered toward the elite; citizen journalism and its role in allowing participation and unification in the global revolution.
On 9/11/11Vic Sadot released a new 16 song CD titled "9/11 Truth & Justice Songs". One of the songs on that CD that was made into a music video celebrates the Occupy Wall Street movement and visually weaves 9/11 Truth and Occupy themes into the music video. Attention guitarists and singers! The lyrics and guitar chords follow below after some brief commentary. Here is the link!
Oh What A Day! at YouTube:
"Oh What A Day!" is a basic blues song with vocals and acoustic guitar by Vic Sadot and violin by Eric Golub. The song speaks to the deep and growing disillusion and sense of betrayal that many US citizens have come to feel due to the fact that the Obama-Biden regime has continued the policies of the Bush-Cheney regime and refused to investigate their crimes. Of course, serious advocates of truth and justice never felt any such sentiment. They already saw through the two party charade, which election after election, delivers a mandate to imperial wars abroad and policies of class war on the poor and middle class at home.

This is a plea for the Occupy movement to drop any preconceived notions about, and take careful consideration of, forming an alliance with the 9/11 truth movement, specifically the OccupyBuilding7.org campaign, (an offshoot of the RememberBuilding7.org campaign) that is spearheaded by 9/11 family members.
Counter to cries that "9/11 truthers are trying to co-opt the Occupy movement" for our "own fringe uses," these issues are arguably inescapably intertwined and 9/11 truth is far from fringe anymore. I'll start with the latter.

Abby Martin of Media Roots went to Occupy Oakland at 4:00 am to cover the second police raid and crackdown against the peaceful protesters at Frank Ogawa Plaza.
The footage shows the intensity in the air leading up to the raid and the insane amount of police presence that showed up to destroy the encampment.
Mayor Jean Quan's legal adviser resigned at 2 am in protest to the heavy police response.
Media Roots captures some great energy and epic highlights from the day of the historic general strike in Oakland on 11-2-11. Footage includes the strike, the shutdown of the banks around town, the march to the port and the shutdown of the Port of Oakland.
From a reader.
Recently I flew across the United States. During my travels I wore a home-made “99%” patch on the front of my shirt. It was a simple patch created with paper, a marker and masking tape. Clean, shaved and dressed casually I looked like the middle-aged, middle class American man that I am. Without my patch harried travelers and airport workers for the most part would not notice me.
I wore my patch to humanize Occupy participants. I’ve been participating in Occupy activities in my hometown, and I’ve found that the others are people like me. People who want to make their country or the world a better place for all. I do not agree with all of the prescriptions for improvement suggested by everyone that I’ve met at Occupy. I do not agree with all of the ideas of everyone that I know. Different people believe different things. This is not a weakness; it is a strength. I do not speak for everyone. I speak for me. I wore my patch to present an Occupier to a population who see only what mass media chooses to show them.
I wore my patch because I object to my country being a police state, and airports illustrate the police state that America has become. At the airport I was expected to submit to a naked-body scan. I declined and was groped instead. I object to theater security. It is a fraud–not improving security but traumatizing and demeaning. It conditions people to submit to a police state. I wore my patch because I am tired of being told that I should be scared and docile. I wore my patch because I am not a sheep.
MEDIA ROOTS- Abby & Robbie Martin cover White House spin regarding Gaddafi's vs. Bin Laden's death footage and the third declared "end" to the Iraq War, MoveOn's attempt to hijack elements of Occupy Wall Street, Democratic Presidents using the cloak of NATO to initiate military interventions, CIA involvement in false flag terrorism and cases of fake "terror" manufactured by aspects of the US government in the newest edition of Media Roots Radio.
Abby Martin of Media Roots captured the extremely tense moments of the Oakland PD's standoff with the Occupy Wall Street protestors before the brutal crackdown occurred.
Things came to a head around 7:45 pm when the Oakland PD started throwing smoke bombs and tear gas canisters into the crowd completely unprovoked. This is what a police state looks like!

AE911Truth Supporters Inform Occupy Movement | Outreach with WTC Evidence Yields Warm Reception with Positive Results
Written by AE911Truth Staff
|David Long and this Ottawa AE911Truth Action Group occupy the Canadian Parliament Grounds|
The 10th anniversary of 9/11 was an excellent occasion to educate the public with the explosive evidence exposed by AE911Truth. Now, the “Occupy Wall Street” protests nationwide have provided a new opportunity to educate the public about the WTC skyscraper demolitions, and AE911Truth supporters and volunteers have already made an impact.
9/11 Truth activists have courteously reached out to demonstrators at local “Occupy” events in a variety of ways, including displaying the AE911Truth banner, wearing 9/11 truth T-shirts, and handing out our street brochures.
At the “Occupy San Francisco” protest, AE911Truth was treated warmly by the local organizers, and generated a lot of positive attention from the 100 to 150 people in attendance.
|Colorado911Visibility informs the public about the science behind 9/11 as they occupy NIST Laboratories in Boulder, CO . The National Institute of Standards and Technology authored the WTC 1,2, & 7 reports which most readers have determined to be a cover-up.|
Even though the protesters had a variety of political and social beliefs, many came over to take literature and offer support.
“We were excited how many demonstrators were so passionate about the 9/11 truth literature” said AE911Truth volunteer Tabitha S. “There seems to be a common thread among the gatherers to find truth and to demand accountability across numerous issues – that turn out to be intricately related. Many indicated also that they would be visiting AE911Truth.org website and that they would indeed sign the petition.”

Encourage Occupy Wall Street
|The 9/11 Truth community is passionate, dedicated and persistent. The issues we bring to the table will greatly enhance the Occupy Wall Street movement. Please act now with your vote.|
Regardless of the political opinions of Occupy Wall Street, the massive media attention that this diverse group has received over last few weeks can help propel the calls for an independent 9/11 investigation into the mainstream press.
To be listed as an official demand of Occupy Wall Street, a demand needs to have over 67% “Yes” votes at the time of the voting deadline. The demand for a new 9/11 investigation has been on the official choice list for several weeks, but approval has dropped from 80% down to 74%, with only 5,000 votes cast. In order to increase the margin of safety and guarantee approval, we need supporters of AE911Truth to let their voices be heard and vote “Yes” on this proposal before the October 21 deadline.
Please vote yes if you haven’t already, and forward to all 9/11 truth supporters and groups that you know:

Here are a couple articles I have written recently regarding Occupy Wall Street in regards to 9/11 Truth:
For Occupy Wall Street protesters who are new to 9/11 Truth:
And this one for 9/11 Truth activists in and around Ottawa:
I have started this blog entry as a way of addressing functional issues and questions relating to 9/11 Truth and Occupy Wall Street
as these two movements interact. Clearly 9/11 Truth is part of the 99%. However, from what some interactions observed so far between
Truth activists and OWS activists - there are also those who still believe in the official story that are part of the 99%. The mixing
of different groups within the 99% should bring some interesting outcomes for 9/11 visibility.
This will be evolve over the next few days, weeks, months as we get into this further.
More to come, comments welcome.
Occupy Wall Street: Michael Moore states, 'We oppose the way our economy is structured'
Current TV, Keith Olbermann, October 04, 2011
In a wide-ranging interview with Keith, filmmaker Michael Moore talks about his participation in the Occupy Wall Street protests, the goals of the movement and how it's evolving.
We are occupying Wall Street. We will not be moved.
Without anyone having to set themselves on fire, a group of nonviolent fed-up people, young and old, has sparked something new. In less than two weeks they have gone through all of the stages of public protest: being ignored, mocked, attacked, and beginning to win.
People are joining together across race, age, gender, and culture. Labor unions are joining in a movement that was not begun by labor unions. Insider groups that would rather not be seen at protests are promoting this one. Cable television is denouncing police brutality. A conversation has been launched about the damage the wealthiest one percent is doing to the rest of us. And integral to the demand being made for social justice is the demand to cut military spending and end immoral wars.
Now is the moment to nonviolently resist on Wall Street (http://occupywallst.org) and around the country (http://occupytogether.org), and beginning October 6th in Washington, D.C. (http://october2011.org).
Wall Street's servants on K Street, in the Pentagon, and in our government think Wall Street is comfortably far away.
Pledge now to bring the occupation to Washington on October 6th:
