Memo: 9/11 Commission Witnesses Were Intimidated By Government Minders

Somewhat lost within the flu pandemic media hype this week is an important new revelation concerning the cover up of the events of 9/11.

A recently uncovered 9/11 Commission memo [2] dating from October 2003, half way through the panel’s investigation, addresses concerns that government “minders” were intimidating witnesses and shaping their testimonies.

The document was drafted by Kevin Scheid, a senior staffer who led the commission’s Team 2, which was responsible for reviewing the overarching structure of the US intelligence community.

Names also appearing on the memo are those of staffers Lorry Fenner, an air force intelligence officer, and lawyer Gordon Lederman.

The memo, entitled “Executive Branch Minders’ Intimidation of Witnesses,” states the following:

The way we can all actively handle the "Milgram Syndrome" is by bringing up the subject of 9/11 Truth at every opportunity, at every discourse that is appropriate. (e.g. Checkout lanes, the water fountain, the Quick Stop, the phone solicitor, the clerk at the service desk, the salesperson, our bill payments, the restaurants, classrooms, etc.)

There are hundreds of thousands of QUIET people who know that the official version of 9/11/01 is a lie. I run into them all the time, because I hit the pavement with 9/11 Truth and I bring up the subject. There are also millions of people who innately do not trust our government.

Deborah Jeane Palfrey’s alleged suicide notes were released today and given full court press by a corporate media that largely refused to cover her statements that she would never commit suicide and the statements of her friends and family who said she wasn’t suicidal, but Palfrey’s alleged reason for killing herself, that she would be "penniless" upon leaving prison, contradicts the fact that a multi-million dollar book deal was in the pipeline.

The alleged suicide notes are very short (the one addressed to Palfrey’s sister is little over 4 small paragraphs) and written in all capital letters.

The American Society of Civil Engineers - an organization that was funded by FEMA to investigate the collapse of the twin towers on 9/11 - has been accused of engaging in a cover-up to protect the government, with critics charging the organization falsified conclusions that skyscrapers could not withstand getting hit by airplanes.

The group has been forced to convene an investigative panel which could lead to a suspension in government funding.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency paid the group about $257,000 to investigate the World Trade Center collapse and their report was released in 2002.

The History Channel 9/11 special that aired last night was by far the worst hit piece we have ever witnessed, a completely savage, dishonest and deceptive abomination, replete with dirty tricks, malicious lies and a level of journalistic fraud that goes way beyond simple bias.

Bradley Davis, the producer of the show, is a paid liar and a hit piece specialist who deceives people by gaining their confidence and then attacking them behind their back.

He is famous for the smear job documentary on Michael Jackson and makes a career out of conning people and then stabbing them in the back. His tongue is so smooth, that even the Loose Change crew were prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt on his impartiality before last night's hit piece was aired, with Davis having tricked them into believing he was a friend.

Before filming began, Alex Jones asked Davis point blank if the documentary was going to be a hit piece, which Davis denied. After we brought attention to the History Channel's blurb on their website , which clearly characterized the show as a hit piece, Davis panicked and promised to alter the promo, calling it a "misrepresentation," as well as re-edit the entire program to make it more balanced. The promo temporarily disappeared from the website and the broadcast of the show was put back by a week...

THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX AND 911 TRUTH: Understanding the History Channel Hit piece

It wasn't so much what they said, but what they didn't say.

On August 20th 2007 a "Program" aired on GE's History Channel titled 9/11 Conspiracies - Fact or Fiction. Word had already leaked out that this was a laughable hit piece centered around Popular Mechanics. (Hearst Publishing - synonymous with Yellow Journalism, and already guilty of using the tragedy of the USS Maine to inflame patriotism to wage a war with Spain in 1898, the same Hearst Publishing who holds a controlling stake in the History Channel via its stake in the A & E Television Network.)

Having watched many a History Channel Documentary I am quite familiar with their format. Raise the charges, er... "conspiracies" - then give the shills, er... "experts" the final say poo pooing the evidence and theories. Case closed. (Posner reference intended)

Before debunking the "debunkers" we should look at the positives, and being the eternal optimist I can always find something positive in almost every situation. Take 911 for example. Without it many of us would still be asleep and plugged firmly into the Matrix. Without discovering 911 as a fear based mind control program many of us would still be unaware of the myriad of other programs running perpetually, such as Fiat currency, security for liberty, global government, social engineering, or weapons of mass distraction.

As the show opened I couldn't help but say to myself that they are doing our work for us, as they showed much of the footage that speaks for itself. They ask some of the questions we have been pushing to be asked for 6 years, and they posted polls showing that the "movement" is monolithic, mammoth, and growing by the second. So all of this can be seen as a plus for the Freedom Movement (Maybe this is hard to comprehend for "truthers" who are generally leaders and not followers, but the average person takes their cues on what to believe by their environment, and what leaders are doing around them. If large numbers of the populace believe there was a cover up then its OK for them to buy it as well. And we are off. A new fad is born... Baaabaaaa baaa baa) ...

Viewers See History Channel 9/11 Special As Straw Man Hit Piece

Initial reaction to last night's two hour History Channel Special on the 9/11 truth movement was vehement and conclusive - the show was nothing more than another biased hit piece that manufactured straw man arguments, ignored key evidence, and afforded debunkers to talk at length while ridiculing any other viewpoints.

According to viewers who were unfortunate to have to sit through 120 minutes of yellow journalism, the program was very similar to a previous BBC hit piece - an outright smear attempt that abandoned any pretense of neutrality early on and sought to vigorously attack so-called conspiracy theories.

Though producers of the show promised Alex Jones directly that the documentary was not going to be a hit piece, according to viewers it was replete with distortion and deception, all delivered in the kind of condescending tone we have become used to from the establishment media.

According to 9/11 researcher James Gourley, the debunkers attempted to wriggle out of Secretary Norman Mineta's bombshell testimony about Cheney's actions in the Emergency Operations Center, by claiming that Mineta was talking about Flight 93 and not the plane that hit the Pentagon. In reality, Mineta makes it clear in his testimony that he is talking about Flight 77, "the airplane coming in to the Pentagon," and this is then confirmed by Commissioner Lee Hamilton...

An upcoming documentary entitled The 9/11 Conspiracies, to be aired on the History Channel, may represent the biggest hit piece to date on the 9/11 truth movement and is rife with bias, cronyism and conflicts of interest.

The so-called documentary promises not to look at the flaws in the official story from a neutral perspective but to start out by suggesting that any deviation from the official line is "outrageous".

The program also features so called independent "experts" who are actually in the employ of the program makers themselves who in turn rely on scores of multi-million dollar contracts with the government and the military-industrial complex.

The program, scheduled for Sunday, August 12 at 8:00 PM and Monday, August 13 at 12:00 AM, will feature Alex Jones, the Loose Change crew and other 9/11 researchers such as Professor Steven Jones and Webster Tarpley...

Proof Bin Laden Tape Is 5-Year-Old, Re-Released Footage

A videotape that was heralded as "new" footage of Osama bin Laden by many quarters of the press has been conclusively proven to be more than 5 year old re-released footage, leading to questions about why the government and the media continue to act as willing propagandists for the terrorists while striking fear into Americans by claiming an attack is inevitable.

Though some reports included the proviso that the tape could contain old footage, the importance and ceremony attached to the re-release of the Bin Laden tape over the weekend left the distinct impression that the footage was new and that it correlated with the alleged increase of "chatter" amongst terrorist organizations indicating that a new attack is imminent, a message that was again pushed by the U.S. government following the release of the National Intelligence Estimate yesterday.

In reality, the tape was being released for the third consecutive time, having first popped up in 2002 before re-airing again in 2003. The footage of Bin Laden was filmed six years ago in October 2001.

9/11 Truth Invades Live Earth

Banner confiscated, truthers briefly detained by security, but a potential audience of billions get the message

A giant banner that read '9/11 inside job' was on display at this past weekend's Live Earth concert in London, reaching a potential audience of 2 billion people, before the truthers responsible for the wake-up call had the banner stolen, were briefly detained and then told to leave by security.

East Anglia Truth (http://www.eastangliatruth.com), a British group who specialize in 9/11 truth activism, chose to turn Al Gore's Wembley Stadium propaganda bandwagon into a showcase for real issues with a huge black banner that also carried the 'Infowars.com' legend. The banner was visible throughout the performance of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Though some slick editing obviously took place during the BBC live feed, we were able to confirm that the banner was prominently displayed on other TV coverage and highlights packages of the event, which meant that the message got out to a potential audience of 2 billion people, as well as those in the crowd at Wembley.

The group had the opportunity to display the banner for some time before they were approached by security and it was confiscated. They were then briefly detained and ordered to follow the security guards, who took them to "speak to management," but the men disappeared and the group were allowed to leave...

In their typical style of reporting news two weeks later than the rest of us, the mainstream media, in the shape of Fox news, has finally caught up with the alternative media in reporting the story we first broke here on April 23rd that John Kerry recently referred to the collapse of WTC building 7 on 9/11 as having been "done in a controlled fashion".
In another "fair and balanced" piece Alan Colmes and Sean Hannity again weakly attempted to debunk the inside job evidence while at the same time making themselves look like the playground bullies everyone else has outgrown and now points to and laughs at.

An eyewitness who evacuated WTC 7 before its collapse reported an explosion inside the building, before exiting via the lobby which had been almost completely destroyed - before either of the twin towers had collapsed nearly 400 yards away in the WTC complex.

This testimony severely undermines the flawed explanation that Building 7 collapsed as a result of the damage it sustained following the collapse of the towers, since the structure was seemingly being gutted by explosives prior to 9:59AM.

WTC 7 was not hit by a plane but collapsed in a perect implosion in its own footprint at 5:20PM.

After the initial blast, Housing Authority worker Barry Jennings, 46, reported to a command center on the 23rd floor of 7 World Trade Center. He was with Michael Hess, the city's corporation counsel, when they felt and heard another explosion. First calling for help, they scrambled downstairs to the lobby, or what was left of it. "I looked around, the lobby was gone. It looked like hell," Jennings said.

As far as hit pieces go, gossip writer Richard Johnson's scribe is about as sophisticated as a Chicago Bears fan after a heavy drinking session, but considering his other stories today were about Paul McCartney sending a bunch of flowers and Jay-Z making a bet with the editor of Playboy, we shouldn't expect too much.

The piece, clearly aimed at those who don't have the attention span to read the entire word "Hollywood," headlined as it is "H'Wood," labels Sheen as a "hooker-loving Hollywood hunk," denounces his father, Martin Sheen, for having been arrested in the past for protesting and calls Loose Change a "loopy YouTube documentary."
