Giuliani's Unwelcome Birthday Guests

Here’s an unwelcome birthday gift for Rudy Giuliani, as he travels around the city raising money: protests from fire fighters and family members of September 11th victims.

They've shown up in the past at Giuliani's presidential events. Today, they’re gathering in Bay Ridge, and they have plans to follow him nationwide starting sometime around January, according to Jim Riches, a deputy chief with the fire department whose son was killed in the World Trade Center attacks.

“We have all the UFA, the UFOA, and the fire members are all behind us -- the International Association of Fire Fighters,” said Riches. “And we’re going to be out there today to let everybody know that he’s not the hero that he says he is.”

The group’s complaints center on the faulty radios used by the fire department that day and what they say was a lack of coordination at Ground Zero.

And Riches disputes the notion that Giuliani provided any form of leadership on September 11 or in the days following.

Protest 911 on April 15th: Great Idea
All like minded individuals,

No matter what your cause, I think that all of us can agree that we want our voices heard. It is time to get creative! I propose the following and encourage all of you to post this on your websites and spread the word. With mass participation We the People can send a message that cannot be denied or ignored.

Here is what I propose....

1) Start saving all of your junk mail (credit card applications, insurance applications, mass flyers etc.)

2) Write or stamp "Return to Sender" on all the envelopes. Write a message somewhere on the junk mail like "911 was an inside job" or "I demand a new 911 investigation" etc.

3) On April 15th, mail ALL of the junk mail back to the senders.

dc911truth held the first in a series of rallies in front of the White House from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. this Saturday. The aim of the rally was to condemn the current administration for their use of false-flag terrorism, and to alert the public to the likely use of false-flag provocations against Iran in the coming days and months.

Matt Sullivan and Webster Tarpley spoke to the small crowd that gathered, and dc911truth members passed out flyers and information cards to curious tourists and school groups in the vicinity. We will hold another rally next Saturday, Feb. 24, at 1:00 p.m., and every Saturday leading up to the march on the Pentagon, March 17th.

dc911truth will continue our efforts to educate the public about the hidden history of 9/11/2001 as we forge ahead. We hold meetings every week which are open to the public. If you live in the DC area you are invited to join us for a lively discussion of the issues.

Our next major event will be participation in the March 17 peace march on the Pentagon, sponsored by the ANSWER coalition.

Below is an announcement for a day of activism known as "Witness Against Torture" (www.witnesstorture.org) aimed at shutting down Camp X-Ray at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Given that it plays such a central role in the "New Freedom" including Guantanamo's camps, 9/11 Truth may be an appropriate addition to the ranks.

“In the work to shut down Guantánamo, there is a part to be played by lawyers and human rights advocates. What is the role of the citizen? To stand up on behalf of the victims of the war on terrorism. On January 11, many of us will do that through nonviolent direct action, creatively challenging a system of laws that offer no justice.
CALL TO ACTION

We declare January 11, 2007, five years after the first prisoners arrived at Guantanamo, an International Day of Action to Shut Down Guantánamo. In Washington, DC we will hold a permitted march from the Supreme Court to the U.S. Federal Court; some may risk arrest they attempt to submit Habeas petitions on the behalf of the prisoners of Guantánamo. There will also be solidarity demonstrations from Amsterdam to Boise, Idaho and a National Call-In Day to Congress. As of 10/6/06 V has been visiting the mall. He was a lone figure on that date, delivering petitions for redress of grievances at Dep't. of Justice, White house and Congress, regarding the Government’s violation of the war powers, tax, privacy and money clauses of the Constitution.

He was definitely not alone on the 14th when V turned out en masse (almost 100) to receive replies to these petitions.

Here's an interesting video about an August 22, 2002 police action against peaceful protesters in Portland, Oregon. George Bush was speaking at the Hilton Hotel to raise campaign money for Oregon's Republican Sen. Gordon Smith when thousands of protesters took to the streets in the surrounding area to express their dissent. Although there was no violence on the part of the protesters, police declared a state of emergency, and ordered the crowd to disperse. Apparently, not many people heard the orders to disperse, and those that did were not given time to comply. The police then opened fire on the crowd with rubber bullets and pepper-spray. Those injured included children and at least one infant as young as 10 months.

Although the video goes a bit overboard with the number of times it compares the Bush regime to Nazi Germany, it includes fascinating footage of the video record created by the police, and clearly documents the premeditation underlying the use of violence by police officers.

9/11 Action Net Makes Web Appearance 11/1/06

A new website called 9/11 Action Net, “a 9/11 truth activist networking tool”, debuted this Wednesday, November 1, at http://www.911action.net for the announcement of 9/11 actions, rallies and demonstrations by activists around the world.

Five years after the attacks of September, America finds itself inundated by a flood of tens of millions of webcasts, DVDs and pamphlets questioning the official story of 9/11 and conclusively proving elements of it to be outright lies. According to an October 2006 poll by Angus Reid Consultants, nearly a hundred million Americans believe that the government is "mostly lying" concerning the events of the day in question. Despite this situation, however, almost nothing thus far in the way of sit-ins, rallies and demonstrations has taken place to mobilize this segments of the population for an insistent press for truth, accountability and justice regarding the attacks and the cover-up which followed.

It's one thing to say, "stop the war" or "bring the troops home," but to expose a massive act of treason like the attacks of September 11th takes well-informed activism, that's where the 9/11 truth movement is singularly effective and that's why the 9/11 Action Net has chosen to rise to the task of helping to bring the truth about terror to the streets, town halls and government offices where it is most desperately needed, and anyone with an idea of how to do that is welcome to make full use of this new online resource for those ends.

Thousands of protesters clogged New York City's streets as they marched from the United Nations headquarters. Some people lay down in the middle of the street, while others carried signs saying "Expose 9/11" and "This war should be over." They also handed out fliers reading, "Drive out the Bush regime."

Ok, so this is obviously my first attempt at a blog. Here in OK, it's been heavily promoted that OKC is to host a "911 Freedom Walk" on the 5-year anniversary of the 911 crime. Even the governor and ex-governor joined forces to announce the event. It is scheduled to begin at the OKC bombing memorial and will end at the Bricktown Ballpark (corporate name omitted!).

See, the thing is that I've been wanting to get a big 911 protest cooked up in OKC for years. I even went so far as to call for one a few years back, but all the people I informed about it didn't show up. So there I was, on the corner of 23rd and Classen, all by myself with my "Expose the 911 cover up" sign. It was actually kinda fun.

After doing a little digging around about this "freedom walk" they have planned, I came across this site:

One word: WOW. So the DoD and military (note the .mil in the addy) are promoting these "freedom walks" all over the country. You can even volunteer to host one in your own city. So I say to myself, "This is a great opportunity for 911 truth seekers to show up and hand out truth materials, they have basically planned our nationwide protests for us!" I tell all of my local 'truth group' and they are all pumped to go stage our own counter-march at this thing. Then, I get online and start telling people about it.

Protesters including striking school teachers in southern Mexico seized 12 private radio stations today after unidentified assailants shot up a government-owned station already under the demonstrators’ control.

Why aren't we organizing this kind of action in the US? ... And I'm really talking about our public radio stations, but the Mexicans took over both Public and Private stations. Damn!

I tried to organize citizens in my hometown to protest the 'public' National Propaganda Radio station run by agents and/or useful idiots- but the anti-war 'leaders' (who have been in this small town for years longer than me, and they know everyone) who "know about 9/11" - yet all they want to do is organize a useless Saturday afternoon march!

When I brought up the importance of the radio and reaching more people than the 50 at the march... they told me: "never going to happen." And the rest of the crowd was all too happy to follow the leaders... the republicans aren't the only sheep in America.

How about 911bloggers? How about us? Do we have it in us to take the message to the next level, by marching on and possibly taking over tv and radio stations? If nothing else, we'd be informing/shaming the tv news crew, etc.
