A Ticket to The Hague for Dick Cheney?

Gene Burns is one of the nation's most popular talk radio hosts. For years he has dismissed accounts of torture; America, he has said, does not torture. But last night, after watching Torturing Democracy and realizing that he had not understood how important and serious an issue torture had become, Burns abruptly changed his tune.

Here's a transcript of his remarks:

"I now believe that some international human rights organization ought to open an investigation of the Bush Administration, I think focused on Vice President Dick Cheney, and attempt to bring charges against Cheney in the international court of justice at The Hague, for war crimes. Based on the manner in which we have treated prisoners at Guantánamo Bay, and the manner in which we have engaged in illegal rendition–that is, surreptitiously kidnapping prisoners and flying them to foreign countries where they could be tortured by foreign agents who do not follow the same civilized standards to which we subscribe.

In an April 16, 2008 letter to a constituent regarding her debriefing with General David Petraeus and our continuing involvement in military adventures in Asia Minor, Arizona Congresswoman and member of the House Armed Services Committee, Representative Gabrielle Giffords identifies the expected origin of the next attack on the United States in this paragraph taken from her letter:

"Both Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director Michael Hayden and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Admiral Michael Mullen have stated publicly that the next attack on our country will most likely originate in the region along the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Despite the growth of the Taliban insurgency and the fact that Osama Bin Laden is believed to be hiding near the border in Pakistan, we have devoted only one-fifth of the number of troops we have in Iraq to missions in Afghanistan. I believe we've lost our focus on the real central front in the war on terrorism, and that we are putting our nation at greater risk by focusing the lion's share of our attention on Iraq."

Well before National Security Advisor Condolezza Rice and President Bush went on record to say (in effect) that no one could have imagined or predicted that terrorists would hijack planes and crash them into buildings; and long before war games planned at the highest levels of our national security and defense apparatus for the day of 9/11/01 involving simulated hijacking of planes (e.g., Vigilant Guardian, Amalgam Virgo) and the simulation of a plane crashing into a building (e.g., the 9/11/01 drill at the National Reconnaissance Office in Chantilly, Virginia); and well before a photo-realistic graphic image of the burning WTC towers would appear on a rap music CD cover; and even before former Director of Central Intelligence, John Deutch, along with former National Security Council member, Philip Zelikow, speculated in the CFR journal, [Foreign Affairs, Nov/Dec 1998], about the consequences of an amplified version of the 1993 WTC tower bombing that "Like Pearl Harbor" would be an event that would "divide our past and our future into a before and after" --- yes, long before any of these imaginings and manifestations; Tom Clancy's, 1994 novel [Debt of Honor] told of a JAL 747 jumbo

Behavioral Conditioning Primer

-Behavioral conditioning is the act of shaping behavior.
-Behavioral conditioning has been studied for over 100 years.
-Major contributors are: I. Pavlov and B.F. Skinner.
-Animals AND humans are both subject to this psychological phenomenon.

-Three of the things needed for behaviorally conditioning are:

Unconditioned Response (UCR): This is an innate response to a stimulus. For example, if there is a puff of air in your eyes, you will automatically blink. This is a hard wired response in your brain.
Unconditioned Stimulus (UCS): This is a stimulus which automatically causes a UCR. The puff of air in the previous example is a UCS.

Like all of us, I have sometimes been surprised by what seemed to be irrational and overly emotional responses from close friends, respected colleagues or family members on the issue of 9/11 truth. After each such incident, I wondered how someone could appear to be so blind even to the big problems with some of the most basic undisputed facts of 9/11, like the fact that our servants in government have failed to give us an explanation for the collapse of WTC7 and the fact that the only arguments which even begin to address the concerns of citizens questioning the quality of our servants' work-product, The 9/11 Commission Report, were given to us by a privately owned magazine, and a cheesy one at that, instead of from our servants themselves. Why couldn't my loved ones see the elephants in the living room?

We are bombarded on a daily basis with persuasive arguments. Understanding how to assess these arguments is critical to insure that the population is well informed on important issues. Two routes of persuasion have been identified, central and peripheral(Petty and Caccioppo, 1986).

An example of the central route would be of a chess master recommending a move to someone. They base the move off of logic which assesses all of the pieces on the board. The central route is based off of facts.

An example of a peripheral route would be when Bill O'Reilly throws around words such as anti-patriotic when he attacks someone like Rosie O'Donnell. The peripheral route relies upon influencing individuals emotions through cue words, attractiveness of the person proposing the argument(the only thing Michelle Malkin has going for her), or citing quantity over quality ( "50 experts said so!" vs. "1 expert" where the 1 expert is using quality arguments and the 50 are using weak arguments.).

According to Michael Isikoff at Newsweek, "The White House is staging a high-level exercise Saturday (today) to test responses to the prospect of a massive domestic terrorist attack involving IEDs (improvised explosive devices)—the same deadly roadside bombs that have been used by insurgents against the U.S. military in Iraq...."

"As part of the exercise, the officials will be handed a thick binder which lays out a scenario involving simultaneous terror attacks by “sleeper cells” of 20 to 25 individuals each dispersed in five cities across the country: New York, Washington, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles. The officials will then be tested on how they direct their respective agencies to respond. “We’ve designed this to overtax the system, to push the system beyond the breaking point,” said one senior administration official familiar with planning for the event, who declined to be identified talking about it before it takes place...."

Aired several months after 9/11, here is a textbook example of psychological warfare straight from CBS. It's designed to make anybody who questions the official story of 9/11 seem like a violent, anti-Jewish, fanatical Bin Laden supporter. Yes, Jews were warned to stay away AND SO WERE MANY OTHER PEOPLE AS WELL! That doesn't mean Jews pulled 9/11! The Iraeli’s CIA, known as the Mossad, had been warning America in the weeks before 9/11 that an attack was coming but our government ignored the warnings, just as they did warning from Germany, France, Russia, and God knows who else. The biggest fuel of that “Jews did it” fire comes from two examples: 1) The vacating and lease-breaking of the Israeli company Zim-American Shipping moving out of the North Tower to Norfolk, Virginia one week before 9/11. The second example is from the hundreds of instant messages through the Israeli IM company, ODIGO, in which hundred, perhaps thousands were warned to get out/stay away from Lower Manhattan. That doesn’t mean the Jews were in on it; it means they got their people out of harm’s way, something OUR government never bothered to do! The other purpose of this news report is to fuel hatred of Muslims by having Dan Rather stressing that “That’s exactly what most Muslims believe.”

I've been reading Fetzers. "The Great Zapruder Hoax" and you would not believe the amount of trouble that went into falsifying the data. The cover up and spin was bigger work than the original operation. This "operation" at Rolling Stone is definitely deliberate. It's not even skillfully done. But a trap for the sheeple, nevertheless.
