This article is a response to “Is Leading 9/11 Truth Site Working For The Other Side?”, credited to “staff writers” at the Rock Creek Free Press, November 2010 edition, available at:

The “leading 9/11 Truth site” being referred to is 911Blogger.com. The authors of the article critiqued here chose to remain anonymous, and the article’s title doesn’t lend itself to an easily pronounceable acronym. Therefore I will refer to the article’s authors, along with their vocal message board sympathizers and Barrie Zwicker, as The Complainers. We will abbreviate Citizen Investigation Team as “CIT” and their video National Security Alert as “NSA” (noting the irony).

"Is 911Blogger.com working for the other side?" This question has been asked in an article written by the "staff writers" at the Rock Creek Free Press.

I found this article I have attached below rather corrosive and it appears to me some people ("staff writers") want to perpetuate some sort of civil war within our movement over the Pentagon? Or is it only that many people truly believe that no plane hit the Pentagon and need a plausible scenario to make that theory work for them? And the limiting/censoring of CIT's exposure and other advocates of no plane theory, is just too much to bear and they have to speak out for their important theory?

9/11 Truth Goes Primetime

In recent weeks, 9/11 truth has burst into the mainstream media in a way not seen in the nine years since the attacks. Although much of the coverage has been in the form of dismissive hit pieces, the fact that the controversy about 9/11 is being covered at all has the effect of legitimizing challenges to the official story.

In our media-saturated culture, pundits and publishers define the boundaries of many people’s worlds. If it wasn’t covered by their favorite news outlet, many people assume, it must not have happened – or if it did happen, it’s simply not important. Then, when the average news consumers talk to their co-workers or neighbors, who also get their news from the same sources, each has their limited view of the world reinforced. They exist in an echo chamber, where certain ideas are repeated endlessly and others die a quiet death from neglect.

I comment here on the nanotechnology aspect of Jerry Mazza’s masterful review (Rock Creek Free Press, January 2010, page 6) of David Ray Griffin’s extraordinary 2009 book, The Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center 7: Why the Final Official Report about 9/11 is Unscientific and False.

In an attempt to get to the bottom of what really happened on 9/11, citizen investigator Aidan Monaghan has filed dozens of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests with federal agencies such as the FBI, SEC, Department of the Navy, and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. Agency after agency has refused to comply with his requests, instead claiming that the information cannot be found, does not exist, was never properly filed, or even, from the FAA, that it was simply “not in a position to release said records at this time.”

For the fourth year, dc911truth participated in the Takoma Park Fourth of July parade. The group consists of about 30 activists who are dedicated to spreading information about the events of 9/11 and lobbying for a re-investigation of the events of that day.
For the last three years the DC “truthers” have sponsored a float in the Takoma Park, Maryland Fourth of July parade. The group decorates a pickup truck and turns it into the “Truth Mobile” for the event. The theme, “Truth is Patriotic” is meant to remind citizens that there is nothing more patriotic than seeking truth and justice; it’s the American way.

According to Lydia Riley, Takoma Park resident and member of dc911truth, “It’s great to celebrate the 4th of July in a patriotic way and nothing in our day is more patriotic than speaking and spreading the truth. We have found participation in the parade to be a fun and productive way of conveying what the organization wishes citizens to understand.”

DC 911Truth has produced an attractive new brochure to be distributed at the
Obama Inauguration and surrounding events. On the cover, President Obama is
asked to "help America learn the truth about 9/11," but the interior is
aimed at general audiences who may not be aware of problems with the
official account, or who may be quick to dismiss any questions as conspiracy
theories.

In a concise and straightforward way, the brochure presents the many facts
that challenge the 9/11 Commission Report (including doubts expressed by
Co-Chairs Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton themselves), as well as
contradictions in the accepted narrative about air defense, the alleged
hijackers, the destruction of the World Trade Center, and the anthrax
attacks. Only statements that could be verified in mainstream news sources
were included and carefully footnoted, so as to maximize the credibility of
the piece.

At the end, readers are asked to face a difficult reality: 9/11 could not

I have a soft spot in my heart for Paul Craig Roberts, as it was reading one of his columns in summer 2007 that got me started investigating 9/11. He is also a fan and frequent contributor to the Rock Creek Free Press, a newspaper produced and distributed by DC 911 Truth. 9/11 Truth Squads Bring Reality of Inside Job to Primary Campaigns - A "Macaca" Moment for Giuliani in the Bronx

Republican front-runner Rudolph Giuliani, Democrat Barak Obama, GOP candidate Sam Brownback, 2004 Democratic nominee John Kerry, George Bush the elder, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, former NSC Director Zbigniew Brzezinski, Senator Chris Dodd, Wall Street heavy David Rockefeller, Arab-hater Alan Dershowitz, Democratic contender John Edwards, Democratic Congressman and House fundraising boss Chris Van Hollen, neocon chickenhawk William Kristol – what these ruling class figures all have in common is that over the past three months they have been confronted in public by 9/11 truth activists challenging them on the premise of their entire world outlook: the 9/11 Big Lie, as codified in the bankrupt 9/11 commission report. These interventions have generated a new wave of 9/11 inside job publicity on cable television – especially on Hannity and Colmes of Fox News Channel -- on talk radio of all stripes, on the internet. Giuliani was confronted in the Bronx on May 31 by Sabrina Rivera, a truth activist whose boyfriend’s father was a fireman who died on 9/11. She asked Giuliani why he and his staff had received a special warning that the twin towers of the World Trade Center were going to collapse, when the people in the buildings never got that warning. Giuliani’s response contradicted everything he has ever said about 9/11 – he denied that he had ever received a warning that the twin towers were going to come down. We never though the towers would implode, stammered Giuliani. But that is not what Giulaini had told Peter Jennings of ABC news on the afternoon of 9/11. At that time the Mayor said: “I went down to the scene and we set up headquarters at 75 Barclay Street, which was right there, with the police commissioner, the fire commissioner, the head of emergency management, and we were operating out of there when we were told that the World Trade Center was going to collapse. And it did collapse before we could actually get out of the building, so we were trapped in the building for ten, 15 minutes, and finally found an exit and got out, walked north, and took a lot of people with us.” [ABC News, 9/11/2001]
