DENVER -- Talk show host Rush Limbaugh is sparking controversy again after he made comments calling for riots in Denver during the Democratic National Convention this summer.

Heard on Thanksgiving day: Rush Limbaugh threatens caller who said Cheney bought insurance on WTC prior to 911

Heard on Rush Limbough, Thanksgiving day, November 22 2007, Best of Rush Broadcast Show, original airdate: November 6, 2007. (All such controversy is good publicity to get the Truth out. That 9-11 sure is a sore point... keep picking on it.)

Caller MOE from Columbus Ohio said: "... Well, two weeks before they went down, Cheney bought insurance on the World Trade Center. Now, him being in the circle that he was in, you think Bush didn't buy insurance on it? You think Condoleezza didn't buy insurance on it?"

Rush immediately attacked the caller with personal threats:

Rush Limbaugh on supporting 911 Families vs supporting the troops

Rush Limbaugh on the air, 3/11/02:

I think the vast differences in compensation between victims of the September 11 casualty, and those who die serving our country in Uniform, are profound. No one is really talking about it either; because you just don't criticize anything having to do with September 11.

[go, Rush! Maybe there's hope for you yet.]

Well, I can't let the numbers just pass by; because it says something really disturbing about the entitlement mentality of this country .

If you lost a family member in the September 11 attack, you're going to get an average of $1,185,000. The range is a minimum guarantee of $250,000, all the way up to $4.7 million.......

[AH, BUT BEFORE YOU RUSH TO CONCLUSIONS -

THIS WAS NOT ENTITLEMENT, IT WAS HUSH MONEY.

YOU KNOW FROM THE MOVIES, THAT KIND COMES IN 6-FIGURE SUMS AT LEAST.... ]

However; if you are a surviving family member of an American soldier killed in action, the first check you get is a big $6,000 direct death benefit, half of which is taxable.

Rush Limbaugh Discusses The Latest Rasmussen Poll

"Clearly this is a mind-set that had a foundation." You're right Rush. That foundation was built from years of lies, distortions, and omissions about the 9/11 attacks. However, you don't have to be a Democrat to build on it. It's a non-partisan foundation. - Jon

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: There was a poll, I saw this over the weekend, and I will admit to being surprised at this. I shouldn't have been. It's a Rasmussen poll. Democrats in America -- this is not voters. Likely voters, registered voters, this is a survey that represents all of America. "Democrats in America are evenly divided on the question of whether George W. Bush knew about the 9/11 terrorist attacks in advance: 35% of Democrats believe he did know, 39% say he didn't, and 26% aren't sure." Thirty-five percent of Democrats think that Bush new.

Rush Limbaugh Gets Rushed

I guess someone with as much first-hand knowledge about "rehab" as Rush should be taken seriously. This was recorded on "Open Line Friday" on March 16th.

Rush Limbaugh Shows It's Ok To Talk About Clinton And 9/11

"Which is why a guy like Sandy Burglar would risk his reputation and jail time to go in and do whatever he did at the National Archives to make sure the Clinton administration would end up looking good when the 9/11 Commission started looking at things that happened prior to 9/11."

Mentioning Bush (who was in office at the time) and 9/11, is a no no. Blaming 9/11 on Clinton is good. ABC even made a movie about how Bill Clinton was responsible for 9/11. It was called "The Path To 9/11". Bill Kristol blamed Clinton on Fox News. That particular list can go on and on.

Keeping in mind, I don't like Bill Clinton. I'm not defending him. I want to know why the media has a double standard when it comes to 9/11 blame.

Rush Limbaugh Says "Jersey Girls" Following Democrat "Script"

Rush Limbaugh Compares Michael J. Fox to "Jersey Girls" - mediamatters.org

On the October 24 edition of his nationally syndicated radio program, Rush Limbaugh claimed that actor Michael J. Fox -- who has Parkinson's disease and appeared in a recent campaign ad for Missouri Democratic Senate candidate Claire McCaskill -- is part of "a script that they [Democrats] have written for years" in which "Senate Democrats used to parade victims of various diseases or social concerns or poverty up before congressional committees and let them testify and they were infallible." Limbaugh also compared Fox to "the Jersey Girls ... in the period of time when the 9-11 Commission was meeting publicly. Victims -- infallible, whatever they say cannot be challenged."

Limbaugh's remarks recall right-wing pundit Ann Coulter's accusation, in her book Godless: The Church of Liberalism (Crown Forum, June 2006), that the Jersey Girls -- a group of widows of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks -- were "using their grief" and "the fact that you lost a husband" to make "a political point while preventing anyone from responding," as Media Matters for America documented.

Laughs off notion Bush admin. got political gas mileage out of accident, yet admits it himself - attacks 9/11 truth movement

In the second hour of his nationally syndicated show Thursday, Rush Limbaugh attacked Alex Jones, Prison Planet.com and the 9/11 truth movement, for suggesting that the Cory Lidle plane crash affected the upcoming election by invoking memories of 9/11 - when it was Fox News and Limbaugh himself that pitched this spin.

Here's the relevant segment from the Thursday October 12th broadcast.

"Ladies and gentlemen during the break a friend of mine sent me an e mail - I don't visit the Democrat kook websites much anymore but a friend does - (laughs) it's just funny."
