GOAL REACHED - AE911Truth Fundraiser For NIST WTC7 Collapse Simulation Data

GOAL REACHED

A member of Architects & Engineers For 9/11 Truth filed a FOIA request with NIST for the data used to generate the WTC 7 collapse simulations. NIST found two terabytes of responsive data and assessed a fee of $824.98. Please see the FOIA Request for more details. Background information on how LS-DYNA was used by NIST is posted here.

The hard drives will be sent directly to AE and we will make the data available to everyone. Archive.org has indicated they are happy to host it. We are also looking for others willing to donate the necessary webspace. It's unknown if the data is compressed. Due to the extreme size of the data set, we will also provide physical copies to interested individuals who provide the necessary hard drives.

As of 02/12/2009 the donation total is $570.00 • Balance needed: $254.98

Please make a donation here!

Weidlinger Simulation of the Tower 2 Collapse has been “cracked”

In March 2007, blueprints of the WTC Towers finally became available due to release of materials by a whistleblower who asked to remain anonymous. On the same disks of data were found “coded” or essentially unreadable simulations relating to the Tower 2 collapse. In a paper published today in the Journal of 9/11 Studies, Michael H. presents results of his “cracking” of the Weidlinger files and code.

The author writes: “"POVfiles" is in reference to the fact that the output of this simulation software is in POV-Ray format, and that "1780msTO1880ms" is in reference to the output models being 1780 milliseconds to 1880 milliseconds after the initiation of collapse. Problems quickly arose because POV-Ray would not open them, and they were too large to be opened in most text editors, but I was eventually able to get them to work. On this page, you will find my report on the model renders, followed by a render walkthrough, should you desire to render these 3-d models yourself…. The model contained in the files sent to Dr. Jones is quite detailed; the geometry is the output of Weidlinger Associates' Flex simulation of the World Trade Center Two collapse.”

Does 9/11 simulation 'raise more questions than answers?'

Does 9/11 simulation 'raise more questions than answers?' - rawstory.com

More than five-and-a-half years have passed since terrorists toppled the World Trade Center, and questions still remain about how the buildings came down. Researchers at Purdue University have created a computer model attempting to answer some of those questions.

The simulation found jet engine shafts from airlines flown into the World Trade Center "flew through the building like bullets," according to an Associated Press vide report.

Flaming jet fuel cascaded through the tower stripping away fireproofing material and causing the building to collapse, the AP video reports.

"The weight of the aircraft's fuel, when ignited, acted like a flash flood of flaming liquid," according to the video.

However, the website TRUTHORLIES.ORG believes that the simulation "raises more questions then answers."

Josh Reeves and Mike Swenson write, "The following statement was used in the Purdue simulation: 'The weight of the aircraft's fuel, when ignited, acted like a flash flood of flaming liquid.' This is a direct contradiction of the FEMA report (which can be viewed HERE) which stated: 'despite the huge fireballs caused by the two planes crashing into the WTC towers each with 10,000 gallons of jet fuel, the fireballs did not explode or create a shock wave that would have resulted in structural damage.'"

Simulation shows effect of insulation in collapse of buildings on 9/11

Looks like the Purdue University computer simulation story has made it to USA Today. Time to post in the comments section!

Simulation shows effect of insulation in collapse of buildings on 9/11

A new computer simulation supports the argument that the impact of the airplanes sheared off the insulation and weakened the structure of the World Trade Center before the Twin Towers collapsed on Sept. 11, 2001, according to the Associated Press.

"The report concludes that the weight of the aircraft's fuel, when ignited, produced 'a flash flood of flaming liquid' that knocked out a number of structural columns within the building and removed the fireproofing insulation from other support structures," Christoph Hoffmann tells the wire service.

Hoffman tells the AP that this was the first time 3-D animation was used to simulate the impact and the aftermath of the attacks. He says it shows insulation is a key part of fireproofing.

You can watch a simulation on YouTube.

911 – A TALE OF MISSING TAILS
Deconstructing the BBC2 Smear Job

Nathanael

On February 18, 2007 Britain’s world-renowned broadcast organization aired an hour-long episode in its series, The Conspiracy Files. It purported to debunk the “inside job” claims of those in the 911 Truth Community. Dylan Avery from the Internet movie “Loose Change”, James Fetzer from Scholars For 911 Truth and Alex Jones from Infowars.com were the token representatives of those who consider the US FedGov “official story” to be utter fabrications.

The goal of this analysis is not to expose each and every bogus or misleading aspect of the BBC2 video. It will be to concentrate on a few key examples within this TV show (it is not a fact based documentary) and let you decide whether the series’ tagline - “Separating Fact From Fiction” - is apt or just so much BBC-BS.
