Why would REAL activists, researchers, and a whistleblower advocate an action fiction novel? Yes, "The Shell Game," by Steve Alten, is a novel with much to say about anti-war and 9/11 truth issues. But, how could "fiction" serve a movement pushing a hard reality?

Serious people interested in serious facts are among this coalition. On January 22, 2008, N.Y. Times best selling author, Steve Alten and Sweetwater Books will release The Shell Game, a cautionary tale, written in the guise of fiction, that exposes the hidden truths behind the events of September 11th and the invasion of Iraq, along with the neo-conservative agenda to wage a new war in Iran.
