Off camera, Student Scholars Co-Founder Mike Jackman handed Elizabeth information about the Sibel Edmonds case. Elizabeth also stated that when her Dennis holds the hearings, she is positive they will make this issue "blow open." A prominent campaign staffer also told Student Scholars that "Dennis is being very careful to make sure he does this right."

It was inevitable: As the events of Sept. 11, 2001, fade into history, a disturbing number of conspiracy theories are gaining a toehold in our collective consciousness.

At least the article starts off with a true statement; too bad it’s not an ethic that Alben upheld while writing the rest of the article. However, this statement is a bit misleading. It should have said “As the events of Sept. 11, 2001, fade into history, two conspiracy theories have gained a toehold of our collective consciousness.” The first, being the government’s official conspiracy theory (OCT) and the other being the alternative conspiracy theory (ACT).

A conspiracy is, by definition, “a plan or agreement between two or more people to commit an illegal or subversive action.” So no matter what you believe about 9/11 you believe in a conspiracy theory. Allow me to explain, the OCT submits that the conspirators were 19 Arabs working on the behalf of a man in Afghanistan who were able to slip under the radar of the world’s most advanced intelligence agencies, remain in America undetected, gain hold of four commercial airliners, fly over United States airspace (restricted airspace in the case of Flight 77), outfox the most sophisticated air defense system in the world, and maneuver their planes like aces before finally crashing them like missiles into 75% of their targets; that explanation falls under definition of a conspiracy theory.

A brief encouncter, but an encounter none the less...

All across the country people are taking to the streets every 11th of each month. In Albany, NY, a dedicated team of truthers hit the downtown area during lunchtime, distributing over 2,000 pamphlets and several hundred dvds. This was followed by a couple hours bullhorning the HQ of the local Hearst-owned corporate newspaper. Just like the previous month, they sent out a reporter to take notes, but we have yet to see a story in their paper.

Remember the video from February of Ron Paul's encounter with Student Scholars at a house party in New Hampshire? This video was used by FOX "News" as "evidence" that Ron Paul believes that 9/11 was an inside job. The goal of the video was never to imply that was what Ron Paul believes, we simply interviewed him and posted his response. The video included a couple of extras (i.e. the scene at a drive through window with members telling a restaurant employee that 9/11 was an inside job) that I, Justin Martell, feel could be perceived as misleading in regard to Ron Paul's stance on 9/11. Accordingly, I have re-edited and removed portions of the video that, regardless of what we (Student Scholars for 9/11 Truth) believe, incorporate views and opinions that Ron Paul is not attached to. Mike Jackman, Co-Founder of Student Scholars for 9/11 Truth, questioned Governor Howard Dean about 9/11 at an event in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Eric Jackman and I are currently sitting deep behind enemy lines, mingling with the masses who still believe in the left/right paradigm, in the press filing center at St. Anselm's College. Where, in an hour, the second Democratic debates will begin. I'm happy to report that there is a 9/11 Truth presence in several areas of the campus, who are making their message known among the crowds of Hillary and Obama supporters. After the debates, Eric and I will be in the Spin Room, I will be asking Joe Biden about his 9/13/01 meeting with Pakistan's Gen. Mahmoud Ahmed, and following up with Dennis Kucinich about his congressional hearings in September. Eric Jackman will be asking Sen. Gravel to elaborate on a statement that he made regarding his support for an international inquiry into 9/11.
