BRITISH LAWS AGAINST FUNDING TERRORISM...

In the United Kingdom we have a hugely unpopular tax [amongst many] called 'The Council Tax'. As if every purchase you make and the automatically added 20% 'Value Added Tax' wasn't sufficient to run a country the size of this, we are also expected to fund our local 'authorities' to the tune of roughly £100 per month [in my case]. This particular tax is imposed because [we are told] it is to finance street lighting, the police, refuse collection, not to mention the outrageous pensions and salaries of our top-end local authority officials. But herein lies a problem for me - I am FORBIDDEN BY LAW to pay them.

Section 15 of The Terrorism Act 2000 [TACT]

(3)A person commits an offence if he—
(a)provides money or other property, and
(b)knows or has REASONABLE CAUSE to suspect that it will or may be used for the purposes of terrorism...

Congress Ends 9/11 Worker's Health Care Bill

Congress Ends 9/11 Workers' Health Care Bill
By: NY1 News
9/29/2008

Congress has abandoned legislation to provide billions of dollars in health care for September 11th recovery workers.

The program would have provided long term care for workers who were at the World Trade Center on or shortly after September 11, 2001 at an estimated cost of at least $5 billion.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg strongly objected to a part of the bill that would have forced the city to pay for 10 percent of the program, saying it would place an undue burden on city taxpayers.

In addition, the legislation would have reopened the federal September 11th Victim Compensation Fund, adding around $6 billion to the plan.

The legislation had the backing of several New York congressmen but was overshadowed by negotiations surrounding the financial bailout.

In building Iraq, I don't like the prices that we're paying..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
America has been in Iraq for five years - longer than it spent in either World War #1 or #2.

Daily military operations (not counting, for example, future care of wounded) have already cost more than 12 years in Vietnam, and twice as much as the Korean war.

America is spending $16bn a month on running costs alone (ie on top of the regular expenses of the Department of Defence) in Iraq and Afghanistan; that is the entire annual budget of the UN.

Conservative Wakes Up to 9/11 Lies

Excellent,lucid summary of the issues

Part one

Part two

Ron Paul delivers a historic speech. ...And is recieved by deafening silence.

To all the Ron Paul naysayers: I challenge you to listen to this speech in its entirety and tell me he isn't fighting to get the truth out there. If Congressman Paul comes out vocally for 9/11 Truth right now, he is finished. If he had broached the topic in the first debate, he would never have made it to the second debate. I guarantee Ron Paul is going to make far larger waves by staying in the race and blowing open issues like the ones he raises here, as opposed to prematurely blurting "conspiracy theories" and being booted from public discourse.

V on The Mall

Re: a post to this site on 10/02/06 from one Micahyah ( http://www.911blogger.com/node/3369 ) about getting V out in numbers on The Mall...

Great idea! Very exciting! In fact, it's happenin'!

As of 10/6/06 V has been visiting the mall. He was a lone figure on that date, delivering petitions for redress of grievances at Dep't. of Justice, White house and Congress, regarding the Government’s violation of the war powers, tax, privacy and money clauses of the Constitution.

He was definitely not alone on the 14th when V turned out en masse (almost 100) to receive replies to these petitions.
