'Curveball' admits he lied about Iraqi WMD; Wilkerson implicates Bush and Cheney

Cheney’s office misled Colin Powell on Iraq threat, former aide says
The Raw Story, February 19, 2011

Lawrence Wilkerson, the former chief of staff of former Secretary of State Colin Powell, said Friday that former vice president Dick Cheney’s office misled his old boss with bogus information to sell the Iraq War to the American people. This talk with MSNBC’s Cenk Uygur Friday came in the wake of Iraqi defector Rafid Ahmed Alwan Al-Janabi nicknamed “Curveball” admitting he lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

Why the Fuss? The Call to Arms against UN Rapporteur Richard Falk for Alluding to Gaps in the 9/11 Official Story

by Elizabeth Woodworth

January 28, 2011

A former Princeton international law professor has been condemned by the UN Secretary General and the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations for alluding to “an apparent cover-up” of the events of September 11th, 2001.

The UK Telegraph reacts to the Richard Falk case: "UN Human Rights Official Claims 9-11 Was US Plot"

[NOTE: The headline the Telegraph chose to use, "UN Human Rights Official Claims 9-11 Was US Plot." is inaccurate and misleading, and is reproduced and preserved here at 911Blogger because of the significance of it being employed by a mainstream media institution like the Telegraph.

In his blog post Richard Falk did not "claim" or "suggest" that "9/11 was US plot" or that the "US government may have orchestrated the September 11 terrorist attacks." What Falk said was, there are "awkward gaps and contradictions in the official explanations," there was "an apparent cover up", and there are "well-evidenced doubts about the official version of the events: an al Qaeda operation with no foreknowledge by government officials." - loose nuke]

This article was placed today on World For 9/11 Truth, and appeared first in The Telegraph, also today.  Pretty good exposure to have this in The Telegraph.  URL:  http://world911truth.org/un-human-rights-official-claims-9-11-was-us-plot/It will be interesting to watch how the US press, and world press, handles this developing story, particularly if he does, indeed, get fired.

Goebbels and Ahmadinejad: When the Truth serves their purpose.

by: F. Gridley

The recent speech by Iranian president Ahmedinejad at the UN, where he claimed that the 9/11 attacks may have come from within, has been met with withering criticism by the American press. In a Sept. 27th Wall Street Journal opinion piece, Ahmadinejad is labeled an 'Information Pariah' for 'thumbing his nose at core beliefs of our era' which core beliefs apparently include the official version of 9/11.

This is hardly the first time that the western press has discounted shocking truths that challenge 'core beliefs of the era.' The reaction by the western press to revelations of the horrors of life in the Soviet Union during the 1930s stands out as a masterpiece of intellectual dishonesty.

That there was a famine in the Ukraine in 1932 and 1933 - a famine deliberately orchestrated by the Soviet government during the “collectivization period” - and that millions of people perished as a result, is a historical fact, meticulously researched and detailed in "The Harvest of Sorrow" by Robert Conquest.

Ahmadinejad’s UN 9-11 speech

by Gideon Polya, Media With Conscience, 25 September 2010

Top scientists and intelligence experts dispute the “official US version” of what happened on 9-11 and variously assert that people within the US Government did 9-11 (possibly with Israeli assistance). President Ahmadinejad’s 9-11 speech at the UN merely advances 3 logical, testable, scientific  hypotheses about 9-11 but has immediately elicited hysterical, egregiously dishonest, anti-science and anti-truth responses from Western leaders and Mainstream media.

The immediate responses involved a walk-out of US representatives and its lackeys from 30 countries, including Australia, Britain, Sweden and Spain, from the speech itself – they simply didn’t want to hear anything differing from the “official US version” of 9-11.

Applause for Ahmadinejad

That’s right, applauded after questioning the motivation for the terrorist attacks, who was responsible for them, and essentially suggesting they were a U.S. plot.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has made a variety of claims over the years during his appearances here, but he never has gone this far when talking about 9/11.

During his General Assembly address, the Iranian President called for a “U.N. fact finding group” to investigate 9/11.

He also said that ”the majority of the American people as well as most nations and politicians around the world” believe that “some segments within the U.S. government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining of the American economy and its grips on the Middle East in order to save the Zionist regime.”

Bush's 'Smoking Gun' Witness Found Dead

The Centre for Research on Globalization writes:

IndictBushNow files Freedom of Information Act lawsuit to get to bottom of story

The cover-up of Bush-era crimes is taking a shocking but not unexpected turn. A fateful move has been made and it is certain to backfire.

A prisoner who was horribly tortured in 2002 until he agreed - at the demand of Bush torturers - to say that al-Qaeda was linked to Saddam Hussein is suddenly dead. Several weeks ago, Human Rights Watch investigators discovered the missing inmate and talked to him. He had been secretly transferred by the administration to a prison in Libya after having been held by the CIA both in secret “black hole prisons” and in Egypt.

(...)

Mr. Libi is suddenly dead. A Libyan “newspaper source” says that his death is an apparent suicide. His friends don’t believe that.

Mr. Libi joins the ranks of others, such as Bruce Ivins and David Kelly, whose convenient and suspicious suicides virtually put an end to painful government embarrassments.

Richard Falk: 9/11 doubts "taint legitimacy of U.S. government"

http://www.unwatch.org/site/c.bdKKISNqEmG/b.1289203/apps/s/content.asp?ct=6315673

Geneva, November 11, 2008 — UN Watch, an independent human rights monitoring organization based in Geneva, today called on UN chief Ban Ki-moon and human rights commissioner Navi Pillay to condemn a United Nations official for endorsing conspiracy theories regarding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

In a new article published this week in a Scottish student newspaper, entitled “9/11: More than meets the eye”, Richard Falk, the UN Human Rights Council investigator of “Israel’s violations of the principles and bases of international law”, expressed unqualified support for the 9/11 conspiracy movement, pointing to “doubts surrounding the true character of the events surrounding the 9/11 attacks.”
