AN APPEAL TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE

The war in Iraq is getting worse. More and more American soldiers are being killed. Of course Iraqis are being killed in greater numbers.

This war was started by President Bush and supported by Prime Minister Tony Blair. They had lied in order to invade Iraq.

What has this war gained for America and Britain? Nothing except the unnecessary deaths of American soldiers, destruction of Iraq and higher oil prices. There is no democracy in Iraq, for which American soldiers were supposed to die.

Invading a country today does not end in conquest and subjugation of the people. The occupying forces would be continuously attacked by guerillas and terrorists.

War is no longer an option for even the most powerful countries in the settlement of international disputes.

Killing people to achieve a national objective is primitive and barbaric.

Modern wars kill and destroy more.

The majority of those killed are non-combatants; old people, sick people, children and babies.

From a source such as AlterNet, the admission that 9/11 skeptics are "neither extreme nor trivial" is a strong statement. Behan does not elaborate, and in places he supports the official story, but this is a useful timeline for demonstrating to mainstream liberals that the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq were already planned prior to 9/11, and therefore only a fool would believe that 9/11 was a happy accident.

If there's no real enemy don't worry - the Department of Homeland Criminals will make a bunch. And that's part of the technique that has been utilized throughout history. The human animal has a natural tendency to get trapped within the amity-enmity complex. You have seen it your whole life - think back to when you were in school and various classmates would gravitate toward one group or another in order to look cool to their friends, or else they risk not being accepted. Other individuals become excluded, marginalized - this provides an in-group and out-group mentality which serves to clearly identify who you are - at least according to the group mind.

Imagine my surprise early this morning/late last night when, about to go to sleep, I flicked on the Bill Bennett show for a second and heard a certain descript faux-Texan drawl reminding the American people not to believe the outrageous conspiracy theory of the Zelikow Commission Report. I think Bennett was a little rude to hang up on the POTUS and Decider in Chief like that, especially when he was trying to get the American people to understand a very important truth. But, I got the point Mr. President, loud and clear. Tell me where to line up behind you in pursuing the War on Terror to its root and I will be there.

Early monday morning (7-16-07), Bill Bennett was attempting to shore up morale around the War on Iraq on his radio show "Morning in America" (6-9am EST, 1-866-680-6464). I figured it was time to check in with Bill to clarify the internal contradictions of his beliefs about 9-11 and the logic of the Global War on Terror. I was attempting to play the 'devil's advocate' of his belief system and poke holes in it from inside and then get to the facts. I really wanted to get into a discussion about false-flag terror in order to clarify why the War in Iraq is not meant by its architects to be "won," but I got caught up in back and forth with Bill and got axed soon after bringing it up. I really think someone needs to follow up with him specifically, because, as far as I know, he is the only signatory to the PNAC document to have a call in radio show. I was going to tell him that he is part of a group that Citizen's Grand Juries around this country are investigating for complicity in the attacks of 9-11.

It is politics as usual. In order to hype the "war on terror" angle over what is perceived as a floundering effort in Iraq—in fact, the effort in Iraq is a smashing (no pun intended) success, as it has destroyed the country—the "U.S. Senate on Friday voted to double the bounty on Osama bin Laden to $50 million and require President George W. Bush to refocus on capturing him after reports al Qaeda is gaining strength," according to Reuters. "By a vote of 87-1, the Senate set the reward for the killing or capture, or information leading to the capture, of the mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States."

Of course, there is no evidence Osama bin Laden had anything to do with nine eleven and the government refuses to provide any, beyond pointing to a handful of obviously faked video and audio tapes.

I'm upset that they would stoop to the lows that they did.

Danny Bonaduce: "she should be strung up for treason". . "she's offering aid and comfort to the enemy"??

Come on, man. . .

Get a grip.

I thought that most of the "Analysts" on Fox News and MSNBC were hateful, innacurate, and opposed to freedom of speech. (minus the female personality on Hannity and Colmes, and O'Reilly's male guest - only during his final statement about our right to not watch the View if we disagree)

O'Reilly: "they are spitting out the worst propoganda that is fed to them by far-left Americans on the net. . that's where they're getting the "false flag", "Gulf of Tonkin", and all this other business"

O'Reilly's male guest: "the real danger, is that they're mainstreaming this hateful nonsense"

Hannity's male guest: "she has no right to speak [because she's] a clown, a fool, a deranged activist"

Hannity: Equating 9/11 Truth to disrespecting the families of those who lost their lives on 9/11.

Ignorance at it's best!

Iraq war anniversary misses 9/11 focus

It's the fourth anniversary of the start of the Iraq War. It also feels like the anniversary of the end of our national focus on bringing the architect of 9/11 to justice.

Just a quick tour of the numbers, to help us get our bearings.

According to the Pentagon, there are about 27,000 U.S. troops in Afghanistan — the highest number since the October 2001 invasion. They are part of a NATO-led force of around 50,000. According to the Department of Defense, there have been 369 American service personnel killed in Afghanistan, as well as 676 who were wounded and unable to return to action.

In Iraq, there are upwards of 142,000 U.S. troops. The Associated Press puts the current number killed at 3,217. Those wounded and unable to go back: 10,685, according to the DOD.

The Bush-Maliki Plan, now called The Surge, to deploy an additional 20,000 US troops to Iraq is a last-ditch effort to prevent a decisive US political defeat in Iraq. The principle purpose of this “surge” is to destroy the Mehdi Army of Muqtada al Sadr , who broke his alliance with the Maliki government after Maliki met with George Bush to confirm Iraqi government submission to US forces two months ago. Sadr enjoys immense local support from almost 3 million Iraqis, and is a very popular figure through most of the Southern half of Iraq. Not only will the attempt to use this “surge” to destroy the Mehdi Army inflict massive civilian casualties in the tightly-packed warrens of Sadr City, it will ignite a popular rebellion among Shia, from Baghdad to Um Qasr, that will effectively destroy what is left of the legitimacy of the Maliki “government.”
