A new film of 6 minutes length has been released today, asking simple questions about the detours in the flight routes of the 9/11 hijackings, about "radar gaps", the simultaneous events between 8.46 and 8.56 a.m. that morning, as well as about the possibilitiy of remote control and the role of the war games:
Why did all four hijacked planes on 9/11 take long detours? How did the hijackers know about "radar holes"? How could they conduct key hijacking events simultaneously all within 10 minutes? Who controlled the planes?
Too Big to Allow? Think-Tank Needed
The use of ‘war-games’ is common in planning military moves, and may well explain, for example, why the US military is not currently mired in an Iran campaign. The use of ‘contingency planning’ is likewise common in business and government.
With the current spate of interest in the Fox News channel interview by Geraldo of Bob McIlvaine and Tony Szamboti, some in 9-11 truth-seeking circles sense a need for rigorous think-tank planning -- in the now far more-likely case of a general awareness, spreading suddenly and widely, regarding evident US government complicity and subsequent cover-up in the 9-11-01 attacks.

This quote shows how serious the 9-11 truth-awareness issue may be. Here is one anonymous person’s attempt at game-planning the outcome of such awareness in the general public Granted, a single person’s attempt, such as this, may look slip-shod, or as though a mere exercise in creative writing. While it may provoke interest, one person’s projections can only provide us with a crude game-planning prediction, since it is subject to the limits of that one individual’s expertise in diverse disciplines such as sociology, mass psychology, economics, politics, and related fields. One hopes this one attempt can spur better-constructed versions of the same, involving well-informed think-tank expertise from many relevant areas.

Miles Kara, who was a professional staff member of the 9/11 Commission, has posted an entry on his Internet blog (copied below), in response to recent revelations about training exercises held by the U.S. military prior to the 9/11 attacks.
The new information about the training exercises appears in a 9/11 Commission document found in the U.S. National Archives by a contributor to the History Commons website. The document reveals that, among other things, two days before 9/11, NORAD's Northeast Air Defense Sector (NEADS) conducted an exercise scenario based around "Terrorists with explosives who plan to detonate them over NYC." Three days earlier, another scenario conducted as part of the same exercise involved a fictitious terrorist group hijacking a Boeing 747 and threatening to "rain terror from the skies onto a major U.S. city unless the U.S. declares withdrawal from Asian conflict."
The US military conducted a training exercise in the five days before the September 11 attacks that included simulated aircraft hijackings by terrorists, according to a 9/11 Commission document recently found in the US National Archives. In one of the scenarios, implemented on September 9, terrorists hijacked a London to New York flight, planning to blow it up with explosives over New York.
The undated document, entitled "NORAD EXERCISES Hijack Summary," was part of a series of 9/11 Commission records moved to the National Archives at the start of the year. It was found there and posted to the History Commons site at Scribd by History Commons contributor paxvector in the files of the commission's Team 8, which focused on the failed emergency response on the day of the attacks. The summary appears to have been drafted by one of the commission's staffers, possibly Miles Kara, based on documents submitted by NORAD.

On October 16, 2008, Robert Baer, who was a CIA Case Officer in the Middle East over the course of almost two decades, participated in a discussion at the Hammer Museum entitled "A Third War: The Threat of War with Iran." Dr. Trita Parsi was part of the discussion which was moderated by Ian Masters.
Baer was briefly interrupted during the discussion by Jeremy Rothe-Kushel for clarity's sake, after he brought up 9/11 and reaffirmed his recently aired belief that Osama bin Laden is likely dead. That part went something like this-
Bob: The chances of Bin Laden being dead are very high. The question is are they going to drag him out in the next two weeks. Is he going to [laughter] out of cold storage and say "we finally got him." I don't know that he's dead, but he probably is.
On 10/3/08, retired Four-Star General Wesley Kanne Clark took part in a discussion about International Justice at the UCLA Law School. Clark, who had been Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) of NATO during Operation Allied Force in the Kosovo War, insisted that international justice is important but in conflict with the long history in the United States of acting as seen fit in the moment.
I have watched the Naudet film "9/11" carefully, but never noticed that it includes a clip of the WTC2 collapse that captures a dark smoke plume rising at a considerable distance apparently SW from the towers. No doubt its approximate location can be triangulated by reference to landmarks.
The plume does not appear to be industrial exhaust as it is dark grey and has not drifted laterally, but is typical of aircraft crashes.
It appears at 54:00 on the DVD, and blooms upwards for several seconds as the WTC2 cloud expands. A still from this clip is discussed as Item 5 here:
The source of the clip is unknown and may be among the film's credits, but there it is--smack in the middle of this slick Naudet CBS/Paramount production.
I link to Raphael's analysis of the Naudet film "9/11" because it is the only place I have seen this still isolated, NOT because I seek to promote his conclusion that the film is evidence of complicity by the Naudets or--more devisively--certain members of the FDNY.
The morning of September 11, 2001, the U.S. Army's DiLorenzo Tricare Health Clinic (DTHC) had over 200 staff members working in its offices at the Pentagon, available to offer primary and emergency care to Department of Defense employees.  Following the attack on the Pentagon, DTHC workers were involved with the emergency response, performing triage and treatment in the clinic and at other locations within the building. 
Curiously, several DTHC workers have indicated that, when they were ordered to evacuate after the Pentagon was hit, they initially thought this was a drill. Admittedly, the clinic is located in the basement and on the east of the building--the opposite side to where it was impacted--and so people there had not heard or felt the crash.  Yet, considering that the two crashes occurring in New York made it obvious the U.S. was under attack, this reaction seems surprising. An examination of the accounts of these workers and other evidence raises the possibility that their confusion was because a drill was scheduled to take place there that day. Remarkably, there is evidence that such a drill might have been based around a plane hitting the Pentagon.
On her June 4 program Diane Rehm's guest was ExpressJet pilot Lynn Spencer promoting her "inside" account of the purported 9/11 FAA/NORAD Keystone Cops debacle, "Touching History".
In the course of selling her book and the (latest) official narrative, Spencer nervously contradicted herself and repeated various breathtakingly false, easily-dismissed assertions about the aerial events of 9/11.
Incredibly, she echoed Rice's perjury that "no one had ever imagined terrorists using airliners as missiles", apparently unaware that even USA Today reported in 2004 that NORAD had conducted exercises based on this scenario, specifying targets including the World Trade Center.
In her WTC Task Force interview of October 11, 2001, EMT Patricia Ondrovic details her harrowing experience in lower Manhattan on 9/11. Her narrative includes on pg. 7 this curious passage:
“As I was running north in this park, and then I could start seeing again a little bit, and I just kept looking in the sky. Cause the captain was saying there's another plane heading in our direction, I was looking for another plane. I saw something in the sky, it was a plane, but it was way out. It looked like it was over Jersey or something, then it wasn't there anymore. I saw a small fireball, and it was gone. I saw two other planes. One came in one way, and the other came in the other way, and there was a plane in the middle that was way far off in the distance. Then the plane in the middle just disappeared into a little fire ball. It looked like the size of a golf ball from where I could see it. And the other two planes veered off into opposite directions. I just kept on running north. About fifteen blocks later, I had no idea that that was just the first tower that had come down.”

Within three hours of the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, Robin Hordon knew it was an inside job. He had been an Air Traffic Controller (ATC) for eleven years before Reagan fired him and hundreds of his colleagues after they went on strike in the eighties. Having handled in-flight emergencies and two actual hijackings in his career, he is well qualified to comment on what NORAD should have been able to achieve in its response to the near simultaneous hijacking of four domestic passenger carriers on the morning of September 11th, 2001.
“There had to be something huge to explain why those aircraft weren’t shot down out of the sky. We have fighters on the ready to handle these situations twenty-four-seven. We have NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) monitors monitoring our skies twenty-four-seven. We have a lot of human beings, civilian and military, who care about doing their jobs.”

AP earned a modest income by clearing brush from the neighbours’ yards. However, AP appeared to have unlimited resources arising from business arrangements with his friends and his father’s connections. Besides AP’s brush clearing business, the group of friends controlled many other businesses and had all kinds of mysterious and complicated financial dealings.
Liberty thought she would live the good life with AP.
Robin Hordon and David Ray Griffin appeared on Carol Brouillet's show last night. Griffin was on air for just a few minutes, plugging his new book; most of the show was Hordon's. For those who are not familiar with Robin Hordon, he is an ex-pilot and ex-flight controller (fired when he went on strike during the Reagan years). Robin Hordon is very level-headed and it seems to me he brings a number of valid points to the debate. He explains in detail how the scramble protocols used to work, how they were changed in June 2001 and exactly what effect it had on the morning of 9-11. He also discusses what the FAA would normally do in the case of a hijacking, and what they were doing on 9-11.
Hordon also discusses the wargames, and how they would affect procedures that day (according to Hordon, they wouldn't). Plenty of other interesting stuff from a guy who knows first-hand how air traffic control works.

[Almost no one who opposes the idea of U.S. government involvement in 9/11 has seriously confronted Crossing The Rubicon by Mike Ruppert. And sadly, many in the 9/11 truth movement who do embrace the notion of U.S. government involvement will not deal with Rubicon. This 9/11 report points to one notable exception to the latter, Bill Weinberg, and since Weinberg’s opinion was first published at Guerilla News Network, FTW is posting this story for free on our site because it will also be posted on the GNN site. While Weinberg did at least deal with the contents of Rubicon, his arguments are extremely fallacious as Michael Kane explains in this report.
