"The Mujahideen were the "database" of Al-Qaeda assets. Al-Qaeda are a controlled opposition force of the Central Intelligence Agency to promote their middle east destabilization process. To give empirical U.S. Military Industrial Complex a reason to invade wherever they want in the ever widening "war on terror" fraud."
In a recent article for Foreign Affairs, the journal of the Council on Foreign Relations, Zbigniew Brzezinski calls for NATO to transform itself into a "hub" for a global security "web". This article is an expanded version of a NY Times Op-Ed piece he wrote in August.
Brzezinski advocates the following:
"But to remain relevant, NATO cannot — as some have urged — simply expand itself into a global alliance or transform itself into a global alliance of democracies. A global NATO would dilute the centrality of the U.S.-European connection, and none of the rising powers would be likely to accept membership in a globally expanded NATO. Furthermore, an ideologically defined global alliance of democracies would face serious difficulties in determining whom to exclude and in striking a reasonable balance between its doctrinal and strategic purposes.
I saw the bit on MSNBC with your guest Brzezinski:
Hypocrite Brzezinski Slams "Conspiratorial View" Of History While Highlighting 50's Iran Overthrow
Perhaps you haven't examined the official myth about 9/11, i.e. that it was accomplished solely by Al Qaeda and Bin Laden. Given that Obama made a claim and didn't back it up with any facts- while admitting that elements in the US and Britain conspired to overthrow Mossadegh a half century ago- it's kind of a misnomer to say he "debunked" "9/11 conspiracists". And given the many lies told by Bush Administration principals about 9/11, and given the 9/11 Commission's failure to conduct a full and honest investigation- who's to say what really happened on 9/11?
The 9/11 Commission ignored 70% of the 9/11 families' questions
And your employer, MSNBC, published a report that says 25% of the 9/11 Commission Report, including the sections most relevant to linking 9/11 to al Qaeda and Bin Laden, was based on testimony obtained by torture:
Hypocrite Brzezinski Slams “Conspiratorial View” Of History While Highlighting 50’s Iran Overthrow
Declares American people “skewed” for questioning government
Monday, June 8, 2009
During a discussion with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow last Friday, Trilateral Commission co-founder and top Obama advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski spoke of those who question the official version of events on 9/11 in the same context as those who deny the holocaust.
US Headed For Change, Says Former National Security Advisor
Write up in Iran's press.tv.ir:
Brzezinski: Obama may be tested
Sat, 08 Nov 2008 17:46:12 GMT
Zbigniew Brzezinski talks about a possible attack during the Obama administration.
A former US national security adviser says President-elect Barack Obama may be tested by terrorists after he takes office on Jan. 20.
"It's possible. There's no way of predicting that. It's a possibility, but it's by no means a certainty," former Carter administration national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski said in an interview with Deutsche Welle.
Brzezinski said that history shows that every new US president is tested by transitional challenges and circumstances.
"I think that Obama has shown that he is very calm, very rational and very deliberate in his approach to issues and I think if he is tested he will respond cogently and rationally and effectively," said Brzezinski.
Hand-Off to Obama?
Crimes of the State
The Washington Post, today,1 has done a pretty good job of encapsulating the fraudulent "war on terrorism" without actually calling it a fraud. One would have to be in-the-know to understand the implications, but they are there if one is willing to study the article.
"There has been no confirmed trace of bin Laden since he narrowly escaped from the CIA and the U.S. military after the battle near Tora Bora, Afghanistan, in December 2001, according to U.S., Pakistani and European officials."
That's a pretty strong statement. No "trace?"
From the latest issue of American Interest magazine, an interview with Obama foreign policy adviser, Trilateralist, Soviet-phobe, former National Security Adviser and Rockefeller stooge Zbigniew Brzezinski. Notice the condescending tone that this lich evokes towards the general public. We are imbeciles in his opinion.
AI: I have just three specific and related questions for you, Zbig. The first is about Afghanistan, then and now, and the supposed lingering burdens of certain key decisions made when you were National Security Advisor to President Carter. The second is about how, as you’ve put it many times, we need to understand complex parts of the world for what they are, rather than impose our own preconceptions on them. And the third concerns how well the intelligence community serves us in this regard.
Zbigniew Brzezinski: OK, sounds like fun.
Terrorized by 'War on Terror'
How a Three-Word Mantra Has Undermined America
By Zbigniew Brzezinski
28/02/08 "Washington Post" -- -- The "war on terror" has created a culture of fear in America. The Bush administration's elevation of these three words into a national mantra since the horrific events of 9/11 has had a pernicious impact on American democracy, on America's psyche and on U.S. standing in the world. Using this phrase has actually undermined our ability to effectively confront the real challenges we face from fanatics who may use terrorism against us.
The damage these three words have done -- a classic self-inflicted wound -- is infinitely greater than any wild dreams entertained by the fanatical perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks when they were plotting against us in distant Afghan caves. The phrase itself is meaningless. It defines neither a geographic context nor our presumed enemies. Terrorism is not an enemy but a technique of warfare -- political intimidation through the killing of unarmed non-combatants.
Amazingly perceptive analysis of the primaries by Tarpley, who convinces Jeff Rense that Hitlery Clinton is the lesser of three evil options -
the other two being Obama with Dr. Zbig Strangelove's war on Russia program in foreign policy and hyper-reactionary social agenda
and the GOP ticket of psychotic McCain with foreign agent Lieberman
The clou is where he shows that Obama is unelectable because he appeals only to a tiny group of wealthy liberal Democrats
That's the worst thing about Obama - he will give the White House back to the fascist Republican party
This all fits in with Tarpley's paradigm of the 36 or 40 year party realignment cycle which is now upon us
With Hitlery, this will realign away from the horrible southern strategy that has ruined the US since Nixon
It will be a new alignment of a "bi-coastal, urban southwestern coalition" which will be a much more positive force for the next cycle.
With McCain we go into another fascist cycle.
The US has alternated between positive and negative 40 year cycles. We've never had two bad ones in a row.
Congresswoman Maxine Waters Says "No" to War with Iran and "Yes" to Paying Attention to Brzenzski's Warning
After Congresswoman Maxine Waters delivered a fiery speech at the impeachment rally this 4th of July in Los Angeles (which, with much thanks due to Peter Thottam of www.911truthla.net and www.bcimpeach.com, was a great success), I followed up with her and attempted to get her to go deeper on the way to her car. I asked her to respond to Zbigniew Brzenzski's warning to Congress in February that war with Iran would be provoked through an attack in the Middle East or in the U.S. blamed on Iran, subsequently hurtling the U.S. into a "defensive" attack. With the anniversary of the London 7/7 bombings coming up this weekend, I also asked her to go on record as a public official who decries the use of false-flag terror events such as 9-11, 3-11 and 7-7 as a horrific form of statecraft. Although she spun away from directly answering these questions, she spoke firmly about pursuing diplomacy with Iran and the consequences of starting something that would quickly spin out of control. I followed up as we got to her car by asking her, "And Brzenzski, we need to pay attention to his warning right?" and she said "Yes we do." Then I handed her the WeAreC.H.A.N.G.E. pamphlet.
I just came over this one hour documentary at YouTube. It has some interesting interviews (see full list of persons below). Zbigniew Brzezinski gets eight minutes on his role in Afghanistan in the late 1970s.
Part 1 of 7:
Go here to watch part 2-7:
OUR OWN PRIVATE BIN LADEN is a film about understanding the creation of the persona of Osama bin Laden as a phenomenon of the interplay between history, politics, global economics and the media. The film highlights the historical background that led to the fatal link between post-Cold War politics and the emergence of new forms of terrorism that succeeded in establishing their own economy. It traces the connection between privatization, deregulation and free market and the globalization of terrorism.
OUR OWN PRIVATE BIN LADEN examines the complicity between economic structures of "terror" and "the war on terror," their interdependencies, and the creation of the Bin Laden industry as a consequence.
The film explains why the world after September 11, 2001 is less the result of a stray act of terror but the consequence of a series of fatal decisions made from 1945 onwards.
Named Best Foreign Documentary and Best Film of the Festival at the inaugural European Independent Film Festival in Paris, Samira Goetschel's consuming work achieves the brilliance of Michael Moore with a great degree of dignity and restraint. By sheer determination, she collected a trove of high-caliber interviews with eminent investigative journalists and political figures such as Cold War-era CIA director Stansfield Turner, former national security advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski, Pakistani ex-prime minister Benazir Bhutto and the world's leading "public intellectual” Noam Chomsky.
"By late 1918, stalemate on the Western Front and the entry of America into the war forced Germany and the Central Powers to accept Wilson's terms for peace. The subsequent Paris Peace Conference of 1919 resulted in the harsh Treaty of Versailles...
Attending the Paris peace conference were President Woodrow Wilson and his closest advisers, Colonel House, bankers Paul Warburg and Bernard Baruch, and almost two dozen members of "the Inquiry." The conference attendees embraced Wilson's plan for peace, including the formation of a League of Nations. However, under American law, the covenant had to be ratified by the U.S. Senate, which failed to do so, apparently distrusting any supernational organization.
Undaunted, Colonel House, along with both British and American peace conference delegates, met in Paris's Majestic Hotel on May 30, 1919, and resolved to form an "Institute of International Affairs," with one branch in the United States and one in England. The English branch became the Royal Institute of International Affairs. This institute was to guide public opinion toward acceptance of one-world government or globalism." (1)
I sent the following mail to Counterpunch (http://www.counterpunch.org) on Saturday. They have yet to make a correction:
"Hi. I'm enjoying my new subscription to Counterpunch and am pleased that you decided to publish Christopher Ketcham's article. In all honesty, it's largely what motivated me to finally subscribe. I would urge you to have the same courage by publishing 9/11 related articles by noted CIA veteran Bill Christison. Christison is a person for whom you otherwise seem to have a great deal of respect. But as I understand it, you have sent him to the showers on 9/11 issues the same way Salon and the Nation sent Ketcham packing.
During an interview on Electric Politics, Christison says that you will not publish any of his articles suggesting that 9/11 may have been an "inside job":
As for the misquote mentioned in my subject line, I noticed while reading "The Tragedy of a Dozen Evil Men" by Paul Craig Roberts that the Brzezinski quote is incorrect. It does appear to be correct in Roberts' earlier article "Brzezinski's Damning Indictment".
