- About Me
I'm a singer songwriter working in the tradition of Woody Guthrie, Phil Ochs and Bob Dylan. I also love Cajun/Zydeco & New Orleans R&B. I am musically active at many web sites which you can find by entering "vic sadot" into a google or other search engine. My own web site has both topical and good time dance songs featured at www.vicsadot.com I'm not sure when I first began to suspect the "official conspiracy story" but it must have been part of being suspicious of the post 9/11 speeches of George War Bush and Dick Cheney as well as Thierry Meyssan's early questioning of the Pentagon part of the preposterous 9/11pretest for war story. Discovering http://www.911truth.org and other such sites steamrolled and sustained my questioning. I had the honor of presenting 9/11 specific and anti-war songs at events in DC and New York in 2005, such as Mad Cowboy Disease, Are You a Citizen or Are You a Slave, Cheney's in the Bunker, and The Ballad of William Rodriguez. My song about William Rodriguez was recently posted on his official website at the bottom of the opening page at: http://911keymaster.com
Check it out and also follow what he's doing as an activist these days.

Vic tribute to Phil Ochs, Broadside Balladeer, was selected for inclusion on Acoustic Rainbow, which gained the song some airplay in many foreign countries:

I have several new 9/11 songs to record and release but personal funds and music industry backing are currently lacking. Titles that may titilate you curious 9/11 research enthusiasts would be What If 9/11 Never Happened, Blowback or Bloody Treason, and Trouble in the Rubble. Trouble is a song about the 9/11 rescue dogs having their feet burned by a strange "white hot debris". It was inspired by an Associated Press article by Amy Westfeldt from October 2006.The only coverage I've had of my political songs in recent times was by 9/11 pioneer investigative journalist Greg Szymanski who interviewed me on his radio show, aired my songs, and wrote an article on me that he posted at his web site. It was titled "Delaware Folksinger Writes 'Tough Lyrics' Calling Attention to Neo-Con Corruption". Greg states that
"Vic Sadot picks up where Bob Dylan left off, telling America in his music to end the Iraq War and put the neo-cons in jail for causing 9/11." I like that! You can read it at: www.arcticbeacon.com/14-oct-2005.htmlMeria Heller aired Vive Haiti and The Kidnapping Coup on her radio show when she interviewed Brian Concnnon of the Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti.
