Court Turns Down Case of F.B.I. Translator

The Supreme Court declined today to consider the case of a former F.B.I. translator who contends she was fired after accusing the bureau of ineptitude in the handling of intelligence related to terrorism.

The justices refused without comment to take the case of Sibel Edmonds, who was a contract linguist for the Federal Bureau of Investigation for about six months, translating material in Turkish, Persian and Azerbaijani, before she was dismissed on April 2, 2002.

Ms. Edmonds had complained repeatedly that bureau linguists produced slipshod and incomplete translations of important intelligence before and after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. She also accused a Turkish linguist in the bureau's Washington field office of blocking the translation of material involving acquaintances who had come under F.B.I. suspicion. She said, too, that the bureau had allowed diplomatic sensitivities to impede the translation of some intelligence.

Sibel has been called the most gagged American citizen in our country's history. After being hit with the 'state secret privilege', to being removed from her last court case while government officials met with the judge, now she has been flatly turned down from the highest court in the land - the supreme court.

Sibel Emdond's has made numerous statements that show that numerous officials in power today were involved in massive corruption, including corruption somehow tied with 9/11. It is no surprise that the government chooses to keep her quiet.

Here are a couple good quotes from Sibel, a person the government doesn't want you to hear, and a true patriot:

As a result of the attack on 9/11, many thousands lost their loved ones and had their lives changed forever. Yet, this administration knowingly and intentionally let many directly or indirectly involved in that terrorist act go free - untouched and uninvestigated - by simply citing "protection of certain foreign and diplomatic relations for national security."

I will continue this fight, since in taking my citizenship oath I pledged that I would support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Therefore, as an American citizen, I have the right and the obligation to defend the Constitution and laws of the United States against John Ashcroft's assaults.

And lastly, for those of you who think that since I have been gagged and stopped by almost all available official channels, I must be ready to vaporize into thin air, please think again. I am gagged, but I am not dead. Not yet.

When whistleblowers who come forth are kept quiet it is no surprise to see parts of the Supreme Court building falling apart, it seems quite fitting.
