Say Cem

Has is it gotten through to you yet that Wikileaks is not a source, but a conduit for sources, and that the material they've made available are American diplomatic cables, compiled by American diplomats?

You don't like the fact that cables crafted by what is essentially a network of American spies isn't 'anti-American' enough? Did you expect this American spy network to reflect your own belief system? How naive.

Wikileaks helped start the North-African revolution. I'm sure the Americans like it that their puppet governments are falling over like dominoes. Oh, but you forgot to mention that fact, didn't you?

WIKILEAKS IS NOT THE SOURCE OF THE DIPLOMATIC CABLES.

wikileaks

Would you really like to indicate, that wikileaks is free of governmental propaganda?

Can you give me a (no western mainstream media) source, that "Wikileaks helped start the North-African revolution"? I know, that our mainstream media told us that, but never heart about, i would say, that "legend" in Al Jazeera for example.

I'm constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud."

Cognitive infiltration
"In this article they wrote, "The existence of both domestic and foreign conspiracy theories, we suggest, is no trivial matter, posing real risks to the government’s antiterrorism policies, whatever the latter may be."They go on to propose that, "the best response consists in cognitive infiltration of extremist groups",[21] where they suggest, among other tactics, "Government agents (and their allies) might enter chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups and attempt to undermine percolating conspiracy theories by raising doubts about their factual premises, causal logic or implications for political action."

Sure

BTW, I wrote the first article you referenced. Thanks for the acknowledgement. Notice I never, ever said in the article that Wikileaks was 'cognitive infiltration'.

Rather, the rumor that Wikileaks is 'cognitive infiltration' is a great example of cognitive infiltration. Or myopia, whichever you prefer.

That's not the full truth

WL has an agenda of what they release and when, so do the media partners. That's clear.
And I'm not getting over the strange threat by Assange to leak papers if he will be treated. Isn't that all about leaking? Full disclosure of every info?
See Cryptome as role model.

Agenda

Wikileaks is forced into that agenda by McCarthyists who claim Wikileaks have 'blood on their hands'.

Assange's threat that he will release the insurance file is an excellent strategic move, and given the deplorable state of human rights in the US, the necessary one.

Cryptome is nice. We don't need another one. We did however, need a Wikileaks, and so did the people living under puppet regimes in North Africa and the Middle East. How has Cryptome fared in the domain of actually effecting real change anywhere?

Maybe 'Cryptome' is CIA. Who knows. Maybe I am CIA. Who knows. It's a fun game, cui bono analysis, but when applied in a capricious way, equally informative and accurate as water dousing.
