It's 11:40 am PCT and there is no such program on CSPAN - I've been wtaching for 20 minutes now.

1. CSPAN doesn't have any such symposium up at the times specified.

2. Your video feeds have buffering problems, disallowing viewing of the program.

The link I clicked to the torrent doesn't function.

This is frustrating. It shouldn't be this tough to see a program.

OT: Is it easier to be evil than good? I am feeling more like it is these days. Throwing in the towel and putting the blinders back on may not be such a bad idea.

My relationship with my neighbor seems to have deteriorated since I discussed my 9/11 views with him.
My wife is pissed at me and thinks I'm overreacting.
Activists are called hecklers, smeared and ridiculed by the mainstream media, yet crooks and liars are given promotions.
But worst of all, murdering innocent kids has become acceptable because we're going after "the terrorists".

What happened? How did we get here? Everything has been goddamed turned inside out, upside down, and backwards. And I've never felt so miserable before in my life. I'm pissed off, and feel helplessly shitty.

It is easier to be evil than to be good. I learned this lesson the hard way, and it almost cost me my family. It did cost me my career.

9/11 has had a profound affect on m3 personally, professionally and spiritually. Who among us hasn't thought to himself, "what's the point?" "Why not just do what feels good? To hell with the consequences!"

Especially when the world seems to be controlled by the evildoers.

I've paid a price for that kind of negative thinking. I think because I know the truth, that I have a special obligation to live the truth. I believe in karma. I believe that if you know better, but still make the conscious choice to do evil, that it comes back on you quicker and harsher.

Again, I'm using my own personal experiences as my example.

I see commercial religion as a form of control. I see religious ideals as good standards for people to follow, if they so choose. Whichever standard best suits you, you should follow it. If you so choose. Religion should not be forced on anyone.

I have similar thoughts and experiences. I told my wife about the proposed legislation to arrest US citizens indefinitely and she said "I'll come visit you once a week."

There are few I can discuss this with, and they are struggling with the same kinds of personal issues, searching for the meaning. I am trying to figure how how I can transverse myself from a position of unemployment (I speak out too often for my own good) into a place where I can teach and lead others to some form of personally-grounded connection and excellence. I think there ought to be a special thread or blog for 911 truthers to talk amongst themselves; perhaps there is a way in which we can support each other on a personal level. 9/11 was a shock-inducing event by design, and the only way we can help heal others and the nation/world is to move down that path of healing and change on a personal level together.

I never thought I would say this but the movement is over. This was our moment and we blew it. 90 minutes on CSPAN was the MOST we could have ever asked for. And we blew it.

The single crucial mistake the ASS conference made was preaching to the choir. That is, they spoke to the crowd as if everyone was already convinced (which they probably were but CSPAN as a whole is not). Obvously, any clear-thinking person can discern that the official story has huge gaps in it. But our most precious 90 minutes was clouded by true "conspiracy". Although things may fall into place all across the board, we need to approach this like a prosecutor would apporoach a criminal case -- narrow and focused. There is so much credible and specific evidence available -- why would the panelists speak in such broad terms?

The conference should have been as such, in whichever order you like:

Alex Jones: Overview of the historical context of state-sponsored "terrorism". Specifically Northwoods & Tonkin; that's it. No bloviating. Explain what you can prove.

David Ray Griffin: Overview of the strongest points in his two books; The New Pearl Harbor & 9/11 Ommisison Report. Essentially the lecture he gave on BookTV.

Paul Thompson: Get into the nitty gritty of the flaws in the official story vis a vis a detailed timeline. Again, narrow and focused. Perhaps focus on the specifics of Bush's actions that day or the buried news reports that cast legitimate doubt on the official story (General Ahmad's meeting, military wargames prior to and on 9/11, etc.)

Jeff King: The same exact powerpoint presentation that we have all seen. Detailed overview of the physics of the collapses. Again, focus on "squibs", physical evidence, rapidity of WTC7 collapse, etc.

Michael Ruppert: Discussion on "peak oil" and other feasible motives. Focus on big business profits and geopolitical implications of 9/11 and American hegemony.

Kristen Breitwesier: Smart and savvy 9/11 widow that can speak of her trouble in geting the 9/11 whitewash commission formed.

That's it. Twenty minutes each. Boom.

By "preaching to the choir", the panel failed to present any credible evidence that would get the average CSPAN viewer (who is most certainly at least somewhat open-minded) thinking about it. We have to understand that for most people this is UNthinkable -- that our government would perpetrate such a crime. You convince them by presenting specific and provocative evidence -- i.e. war games, WTC7, thermal hot spots, Mineta testimony, Sibel Edmonds, Phoenix Memo, and specifically Osama bin Laden & the FBI. When you trigger that slight sense of doubt, the dam begins to crack. You need to intrigue people enough to take it upon themselves to look into it. By spouting true "conspiracy", by which I mean speaking in broad terms (the "government" and
"they"), the Symposium most likely turned off more people than it turned on.

Outreach Idea:
Go to your local Libertarian Party meeting and present your thoughts about the importance of 9/11 truth. Libertarians are against government corruption, against tyrrany, against war, and for the Bill of Rights. They should be a receptive audience to hearing more about the 9/11 truth movement, and some might be persuaded to help spread the word via DVD's, CD's, or simply word of mouth.

you would think, but i recently went to 2 of the biggest Libertarian sites, and found they were as violently oppossed to 9/11 truth as most republicans.i was surprised.

most libertarians tend to be republicans anyway. not this one though.
