The Greater Truth
Regardless of who did it, I do not believe that 9/11 is the biggest issue facing the world at this time. What is happening at Lake Chad alone is threatening 9 million people's lives. Is it possible that 9/11 was also plotted with Al Gore in mind, as sort of a bipartisan tactic? What if Al Gore won the presidency? (Well, he did, but what if he really really won? lol) 9/11 would have also derailed whatever agenda Al Gore would have tried to follow. What if 9/11 is meant to be nothing more than a distraction from a much more serious threat? What if it was a total inside job, and the conspirators did not give two turds if they were caught, because all they really wanted was a few years of distraction so they could line their pockets and prepare for what is coming?
They're saying all ocean fish will be gone in 40 years. More than half of all oil producing nations are already past peak production. The dollar has lost 40% of its value in just a few years. GM is imploding. The drug companies and the banks are contributing more to our GDP than our entire manufacturing industry. In "An Inconvenient Truth" we saw a huge section of the antarctic ice sheet disappear in just a few months. That movie also highlighted the threat of a european ice age which could be caused by the shutdown of the north atlantic current. What if there is no solution to all of this, and so there is no risk involved in the government plotting something like 9/11? If they will plot something like Operation Northwoods just to contain Cuba, what would they do if the very real threats facing us are determined by them to be unpreventable? It looks like they just threw their hands up and said "hell with it, let's just do a false flag terror attack so we can buy ourselves some time to collect enough money to retire to some pacific island when everything goes to [censored]?" If that is what they did, then does it serve the greatest purpose to focus on exposing them, rather than focusing on preparing for what is coming?

Okay, it's late, but I've actually had this thought . .
In this same thread, did anybody ever take a hard look at the passenger lists of the four 9.11 flights?
I pitched this thought to a friend of mine that would not accept that 9.11 was an inside job until I gave him THE motive that moved him to believe it. Oil? No
Power? No. Gobs of money? No. Christian Supremacy over Muslims? Well, No.
Okay, I finally blurted out. "What if the world as we knew it was going to end, maybe from an asteroid strike, oil running out, disease, or plague, and you needed to insure the survival of the species?"
That, he could buy. Don't ask me why. The guy's a genius, and that is the one motive he bought.
It's one hell of a group of people on those flights, and they would have been excellent candidates for a moon colony. Seems a lot simpler to just ask for volunteers, but then you DO have to let the secret out of the bag.

I think that exposing how we are being victimized by a form of mass mind control (television) would lead to a greater, more robust awakening. Just look at how the military industrial complex has funneled trillions in subsidies into developing the technologies that could ultimately lead to our destruction, or enslavement in a matrix-like reality. But it sounds so crackpot-y lol. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

This does not sound like your typical neocon/CFR/bilderberg/PNAC claptrap. Those guys are so spiritually devoid they could never write a paragraph like the one quoted above.
I think most of global 2000, most of what I've read anyway, is pretty much true. Actually it's on the rosy side of the spectrum.
Consider the petry dish scenario. The bacteria population grows faster and faster, and amazingly, the bacteria will be into their last generation while more than 50% of the available resources still remain.
Only when it's too late would we realize we have a problem, if we're as dumb as bacteria...
Our problem right now is not overconsumption or overpopulation, our problem is underachievement, and "undercreativity". We are being held back by the greediest among us. The energy companies and cartels especially. People say that the free market will solve our problems but that is not possible because we don't have a free market, especially when it comes to energy R&D. There are over 6 billion people, yet only an infinitesimally small fraction of us make a living by researching alternative energy. Yet we have tens of millions working for advertising agencies.... That's not right, and if it doesn't change, and soon, then all the overpopulation pessimists are going to win their arguments. And it's going to happen much sooner than most people think. If things proceed exactly as they have been, I think the earth will reach its peak population within the next 20 years.
Global 2000 is not nearly that dire in their predictions! But the good news is that this can all be changed so easily. All it would take is a few hundred billion invested in alternative energy research. If we can throw that money at Halliburton and friends for nothing in return, then surely we can invest it in something that will return 1000 dollars for every dollar we invest. People just have to look past the quarterly statements and profit margins.... ok so it wont be easy, but it's just money. And the way to make money is to raise more people's living standards. And energy is the key to doing that.
It's so funny when you consider that we live on a flaming rock that is literally red hot and boiling just a few miles below us, yet we have to pay so much money just to heat our homes! It's almost laughably absurd.... and it's not right. We are so close to a breakthrough we just need to push ourselves over that last hurdle and start tapping the vast energy reserves this planet holds.
We didn't think we could walk on the moon until someone found a way to profit from it. (The military industrial complex) The true diehard capitalists of the world need to find a way to take that same profit motive and use it to really help the world, instead of taking the easy path -- hurting the rest of us to help themselves.
