Sayeret Matkal is best known for the 1976 rescue of 106 passengers at Entebbe Airport in Uganda.
Lewin founded Akamai, a successful computer company, and his connections to Sayeret Matkal remained hidden until the gun story became known.

Interesting....
I was once involved in a little story about the Guerrilla News Agency. One of their financier/founders was an ex-investment banker who at one time was the "Manager of Acquisitions" for a billionaire who also was part of a very sekrit Inteligence cell in Israel. They dealt with all things computer, from what a friend had reported.
GNN.TV was actually what drew me into 9/11 Research. They came out with one of the first 9/11 related 'vidoes' that I was aware of. It was more about how 9/11 was used by the Bush admin to propagandize the American people.
Funny that I was shocked to see the 'other' GNN founder's, Anthony Lappe', mom on Chris Mathews on Hardball tonight.He
Anthony Lappe' was stationed in Israel at one time, working for a company called Video News Internation which had video-news operatives in many coutnries and would sell the footage to pbs, CNN, and other news outlets.
While in Jeruselem, he was 'recruited' by an "Israeli Diplomat' who was the spouse of his boss. This is according to him. He was recruited to go into the Gaza strip and train journalists.
I guess it's a little off topic but it was a very interesting few weeks there when we reported on it.
