Canadian Petition to Investigate 9/11

Sign here:
Canada must cease combat roles in Afghanistan until it independently investigates and confirms Osama Bin Laden’s complicity in the attacks of September 11, 2001

To: Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, Honourable Stéphane Dion, Leader of the Liberal Caucus, Honourable Jack Layton, Leader of the N.D.P. Caucus, Honourable Gilles Duceppe, Leader of the Bloc Québécois Caucus and Members of Parliament.

Canadian Defence Minister, Gordon O’Connor has stated that we are “fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan in “retribution” for the 9/11 attacks” (Ottawa Citizen – Jan 21, 2007 – full article here: http://www.canada.com/ottawacitizen/news/story.html?id=3a784a6c-a6fc-490e-bccd-62cefb82cbad )

Canada has not investigated whether there is actually evidence linking Osama Bin Laden or the Taliban to the attacks of September 11, 2001. Canada accepted the accusation against Bin Laden by the United States at face value. There has been no independent investigation on Canada’s part to confirm or reject this allegation.

Though Osama (written Usama) Bin Laden is listed on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list (Official FBI page: http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/terrorists/terbinladen.htm), he has not been indicted or charged by the FBI in association with the attacks of September 11, 2001. When contacted, Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI about this omission, he stated that, “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11.” (Reference: http://www.teamliberty.net/id267.html)

As Canada is sovereign country, we must conduct our own official independent inquiry into the events of September 11, 2001. We can not rely on United States intelligence/opinion to make Canadian military decisions. The Canadian Government was intelligent enough to keep Canada out of Iraq, but the government should have launched a full, official investigation into 9/11 before unofficially declaring war in Afghanistan.

Canada’s commitment to Afghanistan through NATO is until 2009. We, the undersigned, insist that the Canadian Government pull our troops out of all combat roles in Afghanistan immediately and re-assign them to peacekeeping/aid and re-building roles until the Canadian public have been shown solid evidence that Osama/Usama Bin Laden was behind the attacks of September 11, 2001.

Worldwide support needed.

Thanks for posting this carbon. I just signed and I see it's gaining support rapidly. Not that I believe any of our leaders will have the "cojones" to act on this petition but at least they will see how many of us exist and that we are serious and we are a force to be reckoned with. I urge everyone, wherever you are in the world, to forward this petition to all your contacts. I know there are viewers and contributors from all over here and we can use worldwide support on this.

Canada Day

Very appropriate by the way
posting this on Canada Day.

I signed but

I live in the Fascist States of America so I don't think it will do much good...................Yesterday, after watching the ballgame on Fox, they had the top neocons pushing the al Qaida terror card again. These bastards won't quit. I had to turn off the boob-tube. The mere sight of these lying scum-bags turns my stomach. Especially William Kristol.

Great Idea

Good luck with the petition. Should get lots of signatures and press coverage in Canada.

I am one

whom actually believes that Osama bin Laden died, as confirmed with death announcements, way back in December of 2001. Just like so much more of the evidence one encounters when investigating the events of September 11, 2001.
Usama? Anyway, the same tall, bearded, revolutionary, befriended by our very own CIA, at one time or another. One of many, many, children in the bin Laden family.
Not, perhaps the same family given special flight priviliges, across American airspace, during a critical shut-down period?
But, i digress......
