At this point my fellow citizens; it is your duty to look for the truth. The same people who told you the story, simply cannot be, the source of confirmation of truth in the story. This government of ours, rarely ever tells the truth and yet, their corporate media always reports their dictums as if they are the one and only truth. America’s hope has always been her people and her freedom. We are under attack and our only hope now is our collective call for the truth and the power of our numbers. Question and then do not rest.
The story is a lie. Truth is freedom. Expose the truth.

until now all we have is someone claiming that someone said something..
not exactly iron-clad proof of anything, is it ??
note : I happen to believe that it IS true but then : people believe all kinds of silly stuff, don't they??

I was hoping for an in-depth treatment of the hijacker evidence.
I don't know if would-be "Al Qaeda" hijackers stepped on those planes or not. I can't prove they did, nor can I prove they didn't. The evidence is sparse and conflicting.
The counter-argument to the government is usually that IF THEY HAD EVIDENCE that the men boarded the planes we would be seeing a lot more of it.
This is compelling, but not proof. They could potentially turn up such evidence and produce it, thus discrediting the doubters.
Absence of evidence is not necessarily evidence of absence.
The "flight manifests" are usually taken as "proof" by some truthers. But, they are not actually "flight manifests" but a news story concerning the names of people supposedly on the plane. Such a releasing of names would be influenced by FBI, and could easily omit the "Arab" names on the basis of an ongoing investigation. Airlines would only release information they were cleared to release by FBI, and would certainly not make independent decisions (especially when $15 Billion of taxpayer money is at risk).
Nor can I prove one way or another that EVEN IF the men boarded the planes, that the planes weren't electronically hijacked from somewhere else. This technology is feasible, and it exists, but saying it was used is speculative and lacking proof. It also makes you sound rather insane to the unitiated.
So, this is a very delicate subject, that deserves very delicate treatment. The article linked above does not give it the proper and deserved level of analysis.
Just saying something is true does not make it "the truth."

Here is how Jim Hoffman explains it:
"According to the official story, teams of four and five Islamic hijackers took over Flights 11, 175, 77, and 93. Victims lists for the four planes published by CNN and elsewhere are free of Arab names. This fact has been highlighted as suspicious by some researchers describing the lists as passenger manifests. However, these lists are not passenger manifests, but lists of victims, and hence include an implicit rationale for excluding alleged hijackers."
This is a classic example of 9/11 Truth misinformation.
It is true that some will question this evidence, but it's another thing altogether to say "their names don't show up on the passenger lists". That's a false claim. I don't know if these lists are the real deal, but I do know they have the hijacker names on them.
Having said all this, I believe the planes were flown by remote control--the "hijackers" never flew the real things before.
