What Caused the Fiery Ground-Level Explosions Right Before the Collapse of Each Tower?

On 9/11, there were multiple reports by credible witnesses of ground-level fiery explosions right before the collapse of the Twin Towers:
- A CBS News reporter on stated: "All of a sudden I heard a roar and I saw one of the towers blow ... I saw from street level as though it exploded up, a giant rolling ball of flame..."
- The same reporter stated: "I hear simultaneously this roar and see what appears to be a gigantic fireball rising up at ground level . . . giant ball of fire come out of the earth" (pages 119 & 239)
- A Port Authority Police Department officer, who was intimately familiar with the World Trade Center from his years of police duties patrolling there, said that hallway began to shudder as a "terrible deafening roar" swept over him, then a giant fireball exploded in the street seconds before the south tower collapsed
- An eyewitness reported a large explosion at ground level right before the collapse of the North Tower
What could have caused ground-level fiery explosions right before the collapse of each tower?
In addition, a paramedic stated that before each tower collapsed, the ground shook (pp. 5-7). What could have caused the ground to shake?

My best guess is that powerful explosives were used to fracture
the massive core columns in each tower. (The core may have been a target in the 1993 WTC inside job too.)

Here's a picture of the same spot from a different angle
The base of the footbridge is to the left of the fires here.
It's more likely a burning car or burning debris that feel down from one of the Towers.
There were a number of small fires on the ground in the Liberty Street area after the first Tower was hit.
This pic is from further east down the same street.
What in the world are you talkin about?
The smoke seen in the video I posted is clearly coming from inside the tower and shooting up and out of it near the base. Here's the pic presented in the youtube video...

By the way, I'm not saying there wasn't a car(s) or debris on fire in that area. Just that he pic I posted was obviously a separate event from those fires.

If you look at the first picture that I posted
You can see the base of the foot bridge up at top left. There are fires burning on the ground to the right of the footbridge. I would assume these are the same fires that caused the smoke rising in the picture that you posted. It is not clear that the smoke is billowing from the inside the base of the building or from a burning car or debris that hit the ground.
EDIT: After looking at this a few more times...
I suppose it's possible that the smoke is NOT coming from inside the tower. Perhaps it's an optical illusion that's throwing me off, due to the angle it was shot from? I compared the pic to some actual video near the same area, and I have to admit that there is some room to say that the smoke is possibly coming from a burning car near the bottom of the "footbridge".

Thanks, I appreciate that
Here's a couple of other pictures that you might be interested in?
This first link is to a picture of the WTC Plaza, just after the 1st Tower was hit (I think).
http://jeffreymunro.com/worldtradecenterphotos/slides/2103.html
Notice the area behind the stage in front of WTC1. At this point, there's no burning debris or anything smoking in this area and the rest of the Plaza for that matter.
Here's another shot of the Plaza, after the 2nd Tower was hit. (Please, right click on the picture to see the whole thing)
This time there's billowing black smoke coming up from behind the stage. Again, this could be from burning debris, but this smoke is thicker and blacker then the smoke I've seen in the pictures from the Liberty Street area. Plus, we know it's probably not a car since this wouldn't be a place someone would normally park.
No problem
Thanks for speaking up and posting those excellent pics! I hadn't seen that one with the landing gear lodged in the perimeter columns before. Just more proof that the no planes disinfo crew are frauds. Godspeed!
