My guess is that the planes were remotely controlled
My guess is that the planes were remotely controlled and there were no hijackers any where near the cockpits.
Things that were revealed in the hearings as "mistakes that people were forced to admit to" were "revealed" to reinforce the official story.
The best example of this is the acting of Condoleezza Rice when being questioned by Ben-Veniste where she says ... I believe the title was, 'Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States".
While it looks as if this "admission" was dragged out of her, this is her big line that she wants to put out there because it reinforces the myth that the attacks were done by the guy in the cave.
Most obviously, the George W. Bush administration story about 9/11 violates the laws of physics and is therefore impossible.
Remote Control is a strong possibility.
Explains the difficult maneuver crasing into the WTC buildings at high speed by amateur pilots.
Questions remain.
What happened to the original flight crew and passengers? Where they on board but incapacitated?
How and where and when where they removed from the equation on 9/11?
How about the alleged cell phone calls?
Real or contrived with the use of technology?
We need some serious answers, hopefully someone from the inside will leak this information.
There is a whole lot of discrepancies in the testimony of former United States Solicitor General Ted Olson on his wife's phone call to him on that day.
He is an family member (assuming Barbara Olson did die on Flight 77)- yet he has never asked serious questions about 911, the Pentagon etc. Maybe he needs to checkout ae911truth.org.
Instead he plays a vital role in establishing the OCT.
Questions remain. For those willing to look for the hard answers.

The cell phone callers
need not have been "voice morphed". Think about it. A simple gun to the head could do the job, albeit a little more risky. It enables you to force the victims to use their own cell phones, covering the cell phone ID problem without the need for equipment to fake it. Ceecee Lyles comes to mind. There is no hard proof they were faked, but there is no convincing evidence those calls could have been actually made either.
The Ted and Barbara Olson story is one of the reasons why I consider the cell phone calls highly suspect. Dewdney's research is another.
BTW: remote control doesn't exclude actual terrorists in the cockpit who think they are in control, but actually lose that control at some point in time. (Remember the precognitive "Lone Gunmen" episode?)

Bush and Rice both said they couldn't have imagined terrorists would slam planes into buildings. They also both claim they didn't know we were under a terrorist attack until both towers were already hit.
BTW- if you believe the towers were blown to kingdom come by explosives, the towers MUST be hit,(they are primed and ready) which means they have to be the first targets.
But if both knew the first plane that hit the WTC was a commercial passenger jet, how did they get that information? The news didn't know, news media were speculating even up to the point of when the world watched the second plane hit.
Bush Knew the first plane that hit was a commercial pasenger jet, and knew before he walked into the classroom.

How did Rice know it was a commercial airliner? Not from the news. The news didn't know what had hit the first tower. How did she know it was a commercial airliner that hit?

How did this information that a commercial airliner make it's way to Condi Rice's assistant? Again confirmed they knew it was a commercial Airliner before it was ever announced by the news media...

The official story tells us that Rice, Bush, and Rumsfeld all thought it must be some kind of accident, until the second plane hits, only then do they realize a terrorist attack is under way. In Rumsfelds' case he didn't realize it until the pentagon was hit(typical Rumsfeld overkill)....

So both towers were hit before the authorities even knew we were under attack( if the towers were primed for demolition--then mission accomplished)
But we have a problem. Rice is in charge of National Security. How did her assistant know it was a commercial airliner that hit the WTC? Actually......how could Rice not know. Not only that it was a commercial airliner, but it was a hijacked airliner and it was a terrorist act? Because those under her knew it, and it went up the chain of command, and when it got to her it turned from a terrorist act into a "strange accident". And they all knew because of the phone calls. And they were Airphone calls. Not cell phone calls. Almost no cell phone calls were made, and the ones that were made were when the plane was low.
Calls made from flight attendants on Flt 11 (the first plane) prove authorities were well aware of a terrorist act being committed before any plane hit any building. And that information made it's way up the chain of command and only when it reached the Administration was it turned into an "accident".

"8:28 a.m.: The FAA's Boston Center calls FAA Command Center in Herndon, Virginia, and reports that American 11 has been hijacked.
8:37 a.m.: Boston Center informs NORAD of American 11's hijacking. It is the first notice the military receives of the unfolding events."
8:46 a.m.: In response to American 11's hijacking, Otis Air Force Base receives an order to scramble F-15s. Military officials ask for a destination for the fighter planes. None is known. At the same time of the order, American 11 crashes into the World Trade Center North Tower.

The phone calls were almost all airphone calls and they prove that nothing was done at all even to the point of pretending to think it was just an accident when it flew into the wtc.
And we are supposed to call these airphone calls cell phone calls and then say it can't be done? I think they'd like us to say that as much as they like us saying a missile hit the pentagon.

Many calls, many questions
Some of the accounts of phone calls from the planes are more plausible than others, and should not be readily brushed aside as a hoax. But are the accounts of each and every phone call equally plausible? Were truly all of the cell phone calls that were reported made when the flight in question was understood to have been at a low altitude?
Some of the reported calls did much to establish in the minds of the American public the nature of the attack, and put them in a frame of mind to support a 'war that will not end in our lifetime.' Rather than falling for a 'red herring,' critically examining these accounts to ascertain their authenticity would seem to be a topic which critics of the official story are obligated to take up, to the best of their ability
This means that they ought not all be lumped into the same category--if one finds that accounts of one purported phone call to be not very credible, that isn't justification for claiming that reports of all such calls are equally not credible.
I do see that you and others have made good points in support of the authenticity of the Ong and Sweeney calls.
Interesting idea about the
Interesting idea about the planned "admission" of Condoleeza Rice. These people (using the term loosely) are masters of psychological deception. It seems entirely possible that part of the plan was to foster an appearance of benign (or even malignant) incompetence or complacency while reinforcing the official conspiracy theory. If I were a psychopath, I'd admire their genius.

What was meant to reinforce the Bin Laden myth re 9/11 wasn't primarily, in this instance, Rice's testimony, but rather the Presidential Daily Briefing of August 6, 2001, on which she was commenting. Such a document existed because the actual 9/11 perps wished it to exist, so that it might wind up in the hands of people like RIce's questioner. They anticipated that the official story regarding Bin Laden and 9/11 needed what would appear in hindsight as a trail of evidence leading up to the attacks and pointing to Bin Laden as their perpetrator. It simply wasn't possible to do this without necessitating an eventual incompetence/negligence line of argumentation on the part of the Bush administration and its defenders. The 'caught by surprise,' 'failure of imagination' line of argument held up until the revelations concerning prior warnings that finally came out in the U.S. press in the spring of 2002 (the time of the NY Post's famous 'Bush Knew' front page headline). But however embarassing or awkward that second line of defense, i.e. 'incompetence/negligence'-- was for the Bush administration, it has been and unfortunately remains very effective in diverting a lot of people's minds from even considering the inside-job evidence re 9/11.

If anyone hasn't seen this film it is well worth it, even for the seasoned Truther. It puts together so many facets of 9/11 concisely and conclusively. Great work, not to be missed. Buying the DVD is worth it.

Wow, made an impression at DU
This video was displayed at the top of the list of Youtube videos shown on the home page at DU pretty much all day yesterday. Last night it had made it to the #2 spot of their most highly recommended list of DU threads for the day as listed on their front page and had over 3000 hits.
This morning the original thread in the video forum has been locked and all the comments (just about all positive) moved to the DU 9/11 dungeon.
