Thanks Joe

Oliver Stone's "JFK" likely cut pretty close to the truth and I'll always appreciate that, but I was somewhat disappointed that he and Kuznick are distancing themselves from 9/11 (see Rudowskis' WeAreChange interview, if I remember). Too close, too dangerous? Mr. Stone is an articulate and intelligent guy which is why I wonder....

Nonetheless, another fine interview, Abby.

Also distanced from

It's not just 9/11 truth that's a problem for Oliver. He also distanced himself from JFK truth. I heard him speak recently at the Y and when asked he admitted that his new book, The Untold History....... only has one half a paragraph about JFK. He seemed duly embarrassed as well when answering the question.

At least

"At least we're not overtly oppressive." -- Stone

I might disagree.

Personally I was impressed with the brutal efficiency that the US government used to squash protesters at the G20 meeting in Pittsburgh and more recently the OWS actions. Are we spared the brownshirts because any mass actions have been met with an immediate and firm police response? One could argue persuasively that those lightening take-downs of any elite-threatening actions are the brownshirts, excepting that black is the new brown, of course.

Good work the three of you. thanks.
altho, I got to say, in edit and after discussion,
the reference to 2nd term hope/obama is totally contradictory to ALL known FACT, and offsets the conversation....

Oliver looked Stoned

....just sayin
